As much as I wanted to love this place for its high rating I found nothing out of the ordinary that would make it 5 star. Staff were attentive and boast very well their expertise with Peruvian food. They were attentive to ordering and questions, opening doors but not always checking in once food arrived. We were familiar with the area but parking is a challenge by its location on the outside edge near Metrorail. if you didn't want to valet it was not the easiest for even a seasoned person to Brickell area. Food had a nice presentation and was good but not anything special. Drinks were OK but again nothing special. Sorry I just cant do any better. read more

Discriminándome en un restaurante que es hispano y ella misma siendo latina. Everything we had was so good. We will definitely be returning! Highly recommended. I loved the Lomo Saltado (tasted very authentic)! They even gave us a free drink upon entering, which was a nice gesture. Before you walk in you're greeted by the host and they wash your hands. All of this is because there are so many traditions from Peru that the owner wants to incorporate and I'm all for it! Amateur hour. Placed a takeout order on an online platform, order was confirmed, came and they told me they don't accept orders on that platform. They should know where they are listed, but forgivable. Then placed an order in person and it took then 15 minutes to figure out how to enter the order into the system. I'll start with the good: the aji de gallina ($23). This is my favorite Peruvian dish and the version here is really excellent, just full of flavor and at $23 is very fairly priced. Oddly it's one of the cheapest things on the menu. On my second visit I got the hamachi taradito which was like crudo; raw yellowtail with avocado, sweet potato, and sauce. It was pretty good and plated very beautifully. I also got the fried calamari appetizer but it was flavorless. The worst thing here is the bizarrely condescending and insulting service. I ordered the pisco flight and the waitress said "Are you sure? It's strong." I'm a middle-aged man and she acted like I was a child. Also it was not strong. On my second visit, after I ordered the calamari, the waiter said "It's fried calamari" as if I didn't already know that. He may have been trying to subtly warn me that it was plain and not worth ordering, but he didn't say that. read more
