Eric of Watkinson Construction did an amazing kitchen remodel for our tiny kitchen that is now bigger and better, built a better landing and stair case from the kitchen to the garage out of redwood that was thought of when we asked for a pet door installation, fixed many outlets in the garage, and installed much better garage lights. Eric did all of this before we moved in within a few weeks! He picked up packages for us that were related to the remodel because he lives about a mile away while we were still living 27 miles away. I have done a lot of work over the years and am happy to say that if you live in this area, he is your guy. He was fair and honest from the get go. The price he gives you is the price you will pay. I never received any surprise "change orders". As contractors go, Omar was VERY open and communicative. No problems ever getting him or his crew on the phone. He had great suggestions on all things we discussed. Always seemed to know a lot about his work and various things people like. The project was a big one, and I am super happy with how fast it went. He even got started for us over Thanksgiving and Xmas, and his crew would show up on Saturday or Sunday sometimes to keep on working (which was fine with us!). There were no subcontractors involved... everything was through Noor Construction. If we had any minor issues that needed correcting, Omar would come and look at it and tell his crew what to do. We really appreciate the details, crown molding and trim was superbly done, and the tile was just amazing, we are very impressed with his team. I mean seriously anyone who has attempted to do crown molding in the past knows what I am talking about. For details if you've made it this far, our story: Where shall I start. I suppose we start with the idea: build a bedroom in the second floor space of our "great room" which has really tall ceilings... like 30 feet plus. So basically add a bedroom in the second story "empty space" above the first floor. Easy right? Well, after getting ghosted by several contractors, I finally called Omar. He informed he thought we were probably getting ghosted because the architect had told him that footings were needed to support this new bedroom which would be sort of like an island in the middle of the house. We live on a hill, so these support columns would have to go through the first floor, basement, and then under the house. This added to the cost, but we really wanted a bedroom in that space. Omar gave me a price. I told him no thanks, my wife and I thought well maybe we changed our mind as the cost came in higher with the footing work. After a few weeks, we talked it over, changed our minds. We really needed the bedroom. I called him, thinking "gosh he probably won't want our work". Omar came back, no change in price, same deal as before, he didn't even bat an eye, he was ready to go, and this was like 4 weeks later after I told him no. So yea, it was project that I was told was too much for people, everyone didn't want to go get permits or deal with the footings... Omar told us what to expect and stuck to the plan. He dealt with the County and the inspector always came and said even himself "these guys know what they are doing". We passed all inspections. Omar even was super flexible about adding things to the project as we went along, as you know I get ideas about what I might want, we added some carpeting and shelving, and additional tile work that he added at no additional cost to him. He really just knows what he is doing and is super on top of things. So go with Noor Construction if you have the chance, you won't regret it!

We chose Vostok Construction to remodel our primary bathroom/bedroom that had lots of water damage. We knew that it would be a big job (needed new subfloor and floor joists and studs in one wall) and they took care of us. They were very careful to make sure their mess didn't get anywhere outside of the job site, took their time to make the finishes look just right, and were courteous and kind to myself and my kids. And Igor's tiling is absolutely stunning. I have high standards for finishes and I cannot find a flaw in our tile--he's that good. Eric and Alex were super helpful with seeing our vision and explaining what would be cost effective but also functional. I never felt like either of them pushed me to do something I didn't want (and as a people pleaser, that's hard!). The job had a couple of rough spots (bad plumbing from the previous contractor, and a paint color mixup etc.) but each time there was an issue, the communication was clear and they let us know what needed to be done. They were patient when we realized our faucets and other metal finishes weren't matching and did their best to help us find what we needed. They finished the job in the timeframe they quoted us even with some hiccups along the way. I would 100% recommend Vostok Construction (and I have to some friends!). After seeing the amazing bathroom transformation completed by Steelhead Construction and Design in our daughter's home, my husband and I knew we wanted Art, the owner, to handle our project. From the day we received the estimate to the day of final finishing touches, we were completely impressed with Art. He was professional, reliable, honest, and incredibly hardworking. His pricing was reasonable and fair, and he stayed fully committed to our project from day one until completion. Art and his crew ALWAYS showed as scheduled, working full days, and always clearly communicating daily progress. Art and his crew were hard-working, respectful, and clearly dedicated to doing quality work. It was refreshing to work with a contractor who takes such pride in his craft and whose team follows his example. We always knew what was happening and what the next steps would be. I have worked with contractors in the past where this was not the case, so having Art and his crew do this work for us was almost like a blessing. The quality of the workmanship was impeccable. Our bathroom originally dated back to the 1960s and was in very poor condition--yellowed stone, outdated plumbing, severe dry rot, cracked cement, and leaks under the floor. Art and his crew had to do demolition to remove EVERYTHING all the way down to the dirt, and then completely rebuild the space from the ground up. The two most important things that I wanted for this bathroom were 1) maximum use of some beautiful green quartzite slabs that I had found and purchased for my bathroom walls and shower, and 2) making sure to retain the original homemade jacuzzi tub that my grandkids use as a "monster bubble bath". The finished result is absolutely stunning. The new bathroom features beautiful quartzite slab walls and shower, tiled floors, brushed gold fixtures, a gorgeous wood vanity with a large mirror, a matching linen cabinet, and a wall cabinet. It truly feels like the bathroom of our dreams. Best of all, Art not only managed to figure out the antiquated Jacuzzi system, that he also improved it so that it is bigger and better than ever. Beyond his technical skills, Art is simply a genuinely just a very nice person - polite, courteous, respectful and thoughtful. Art also takes full responsibility for his team and ensures they maintain the same high standards that he does. Another thing we appreciated was how clean and organized the job site was. At the end of each day, Art and his team always made sure to leave things neat and tidy. There was never trash or debris left behind. The before-and-after pictures I am attaching are amazing but honestly, the photos still do not fully capture how truly beautiful the finished bathroom really is.
