Vlad and his crew did amazing work on my house. I had original 70-year-old cedar shingle siding, and they did all the demo (between rain storms!), made sure it was water-tight before they left each night, and did an absolutely beautiful job with my new siding & paint. They went above and beyond which really meant a great deal - the entire crew were kind and respectful of my kids & dogs, they cleaned up every evening, and they did a few extra things that were not part of the contract: replaced part of my fence that was rotten, built a brand new door for the hot water heater & included flashing to prevent rot, and painted my handrail to name a few. I'd hire them back in a moment. They paid great attention to detail, and had great communication. The entire crew was fabulous - we miss having them around! read more

I found them here in yelp, I thought i'll give it a try for window installment and dry rot We spoke with Andrew the salesman, great guy. He speak very well and very informative. Not pushy and educating us with all about house stuff. He got me engaged right away to let them do the job. I love how reasonable the price is compare to others and he hooked up free small vents Leslie was the admin made sure that she kept in touch and call back to update me. The window parts came a little late than expected but thats understandable since supply shortage. The window style was greAt, it's beautiful and tinted. We are not impressed with their inside system communication, The first time Leslie and Andrew said that the person that will measure our window will be at this time but he was late for 2 hours. -Forgot his name maybe Vlad the time he needs to install the window he showed up 2 hours late again. Appointment was between 8-9am then Andrew called to tell me Vlad and his other guy coming late 10-11am. They showed up 12pm they thought they only need to do window so they didn't have the parts or wood for changing all the wood rots so they went home depot then they were not aware about changing all the small vents so they waited for me to get off to show the copy of the paper that Andrew gave me. It took them whole day to do all of this. (There no communication in their systems) -stepped on our plant without apologizing. -chip paint our wall by the window They cleaned up but forgot to clean up at backyard and left the old small vents. 3/5 is our experience. They did an amazing job in our home, feels surreal to see the difference before they start the project and now that is is done. They added shower in our half bath, and added windows and sliding door to my storage room and closet to make it look like another bedroom, did some electrical works as well. I typically don't like to leave reviews, but I had to give my appreciation to Andrew and his staff on how well they treated me. I had a small project, needed my front door painted. 4 out of the 5 places I called said they don't have the time, or just not worth it or big enough project for them to come out and do. I get it...small projects are time consuming and don't mean much revenue. But not Andrew. Andrew provided me the time, the courtesy, and had his painter (Erik) at my house the same day to give me a free estimate. Price was very reasonable. I called on a Tuesday, and by Saturday afternoon my door was painted. It came out like a brand new door. The thing that impressed me the most was that Erik took his time prepping and painting my door. He didn't rush the job, and you see him meticulously prepping/sanding even the tight crevices on the door. Prep work is one of the most important things, if you want paint to stick. Very impressed with the quality job. I have now found my new contractors/painters. read more

Another FANTASTIC experience with VC Builders! Everything I said in my March review still holds true. The quality of the work is top notch. I converted a tub/shower to a walk in shower to accommodate my needs as a stroke survivor and someone interested in aging in place. Vlad, the general contractor, said in the beginning that he was going to send in the "specialist" for my job. Indeed he was! Anton was always there when he said he would be. His quality of work exceeded my hyper attention to detail. And he and his assistant, Ben, cleaned up at the end of every day. Vlad was on top of all of the progress of the work. Andrew and Leslie kept the schedule moving so the job was complete as soon as could be while not compromising the quality of the work. The shower doors are being installed this week, but I wanted to get this review posted now. what a difference! I will definitely use them again. read more

Do NOT use this business, they are unreliable, untrustworthy, and will "Breach the Contact " after stringing you along for 4 or more weeks. They changed the price to a signed contract and complained to the customer that windows have increased by 30% etc. and wanted me the customer to pay for there mistakes. I can't stress how wonderful it was to work with everyone at VC Builder. From the point of requesting an estimate to our final inspection everyone was prompt, respectful, and knowledgeable. Communication is always a huge factor when working on long term projects. My husband and I had quite a bit of dry-rot repairs, window replacements, and a full paint job. Called VC Builder based upon his lawn posted in a neighbors yard. I called and arranged for small project (outside home repairs) appraisal. Mike, came and reviewed the repairs we needed. He is very friendly and honest. He stated that the work needed was too small for his company, however he knew someone who is more than capable to do the work. I arranged with Mike for the individual (Terry) to call me. Terry called within a few days, and appointment was arranged for a work review. After the review, and appraisal, Terry was hired. Terry accomplished all of the requested work, and he repaired other items he thought was necessary. I hired them to paint my new shed. They did great work and there was no overspray whatsoever. They were great to work with.

VC just finished up my project and I must say they have been one of the best contractors that I have worked with. Came right out and gave me a reasonable and fair estimate. This project involved finding an unknown leak under the stucco, high up on a 2nd story wall, which caused signficant dry rot of the OSB. It involved removing stucco until the leak was found, removing rotted wood, installing new flashing, building paper and foam and applying new stucco. All aspects of the job were professional and on time and communication with me throughout the whole process was top notch. They also cleaned up very well after each step and the owner came out to personally inspect the work and discuss the project with me. VC Builders accommodated my tight schedule of needed the work done prior to a window installation. As a Civil Engineer I have dealt with construction and contactors my whole career and I can attest that I was very impressed with the company and quality of work. We hired Andrew to repair a fair amount of my mother's siding, and he and his crew did an amazing job! Work was impeccable! They were very clean and did a fast, but very thorough, job - happy to assist in any way we asked. They also painted the entire house with a special sun-blocking paint that is guaranteed for life, and the trim is guaranteed for ten years. They gave us a quote and guaranteed no hidden charges or fees or surprises, and there absolutely were none! My husband also knows how to do house repairs, but he just didn't have the time for the amount of work my mother's house needed.
