We had several quotes to replace our vinyl siding with a James Hardie, and knew right away All Sides was the way to go. Gabe is personable, easy to communicate with and got us a quote same day which was right in the middle of all the other quotes we'd gotten. They started and finished quickly and the outcome is just beautiful. Alex and his team are very talented and pay attention to detail. They were so knowledgeable, respectful and cleaned up at the end of every day. Along the way we decided to have the front porch railings and side gates replaced as well. We've gotten so many compliments, with people stopping in their cars to tell us how great our house looks. We'll definitely use All Sides again for future projects.

After the recent storms our windows and fence were damaged. I did some research and gave Gabe a call. He promptly visited our home and gave us a fair estimate on replacing 3 dual pane windows and 32 feet of fence and posts. He was exceptional. Not only did Gabe communicate with me every step of the way, but was very professional and really helpful about explaining the entire process. His team was super respectful--installing the windows with obvious skill and experience and cleaning up everything afterwards to perfection. I recommend them!

We are very pleased with the work that was done by All Sides Home Improvement. They were thorough in examining the dry rot and replaced all necessary siding and wood that had been damaged. The painters took great care of sealing, cracks, and putting a thick layer of paint on a house that faces the sun all day. The trim was very sharp and detailed. As a daughter of a retired painter. I could see the quality with the work immediately. Every worker that we met was polite and listened carefully they double checked when they had a question and ultimately the job ran extremely smoothly. we did several price comparisons and felt that their pricing was fair and the most honest.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We had the exterior of our house painted recently and I can confirm that Gabe and his crew are amazing. They are quick to respond (which is refreshing), professional, and friendly, which made this process much easier. QUOTE & COLOR SELECTION Gabe responded almost immediately and was at our house within a day or so. He gave us the quote before he left our house. No sales pressures all. He was super patient while he walked us through the process of choosing colors. He offered suggestions which helped tremendously. WORKERS/PAINT JOB Everyone we worked with was friendly and very easy to work with. I loved that the painters offered small suggestions (trim placement and what not). It took roughly 3 days and we are incredibly happy. They definitely exceeded our expectations. SUMMARY it's incredibly hard to find someone that you trust when you are looking to spend thousands of dollars in your home. I highly recommend All Sides Home Improvement.

I cannot say enough good things about All Sides Home Improvements. They understand that customer satisfaction is extremely important and they definitely go the extra mile to make sure the customer is satisfied. They are professional, reliable, trustworthy, friendly and quality oriented. After 32 years, and twice previously having had patch jobs done to repair old rotting siding and trim on my house, I felt that it was time to have the job done properly. Additionally, I was getting moisture through the old aluminum window frames causing black mold around the edges of the frames. Initially, I got three estimates but wasn't quite satisfied. Then, I decided to look for the most highly rated and reviewed company that I could find on the internet in my area. That's when I discovered ISHI. I spoke to Ruslan on the phone and got a lot of good feedback that the other companies did not provide. We then scheduled a date for him to come out to my house and provide an estimate. Ruslan offered some great money saving suggestions that the other companies did not. Coincidentally, Ruslan told me that they did a siding/trim & window replacement job on my neighbor's house up the street. So I talked to my neighbor and he had nothing but positive things to say. In fact, he even had ASHI do his rental properties as well. I knew at that point that I wanted to hire ASHI. After speaking to Ruslan and seeing how good my neighbor's house looked with new windows, I made the decision to replace all of my old windows and slider with Anlin Window and Anlin French doors. Now that the job is complete, I feel blessed that I discovered ASHI and I am so happy with the quality of their work. My house looks brand new from the outside. What a fantastic job they did for me. Thank you so much Ruslan, Alex, Edward, Stan, and the whole crew. I highly recommend this company and I plan to use them to make further improvements to the inside of my house.

Before & after New retrofit Anlin windows, insulated garage door, stucco repair and paint

We worked with Ruslan for new windows, exterior paint, and garage door, and are so happy with the outcome! He was able to quickly come out to give a quote. He gives competitive quotes, and we liked the Anlin windows his company offered for their quality and lifetime warranty. Ruslan was also very easy to get ahold of throughout the project. We replaced our original single pane windows with retrofit Anlin double pane. The crew did a great job with the install, protecting the space, clean up, and worked quickly to minimize the disruption to us. We had 14 windows + a French door for the patio, and they completed it in less than 2 days. Ruslan's brother, Alex, does the painting. My grandfather was the original owner, and since the 50s, the house was only painted by him twice in a DIY way, which was very evident in the exterior and stucco repair that was needed. Alex was very detailed and repaired a significant amount of stucco, and sanded areas of siding that needed it, and took great care in masking our new windows before painting. The paint job makes the house look brand new, and we've received several compliments on it! Ruslan and his crew were skilled, professional, hard working and we highly recommend this company!

Really great service from start to finish. Had siding, windows and paint done. Knowledgeable and informative on the work that needs to be done. Every time I had a question during the process. I was able to get an immediate response. Had a few min last min changes on what I wanted. They were able to make the accommodations. The house came out better then I thought. Each time I come home now. I pause and enjoy the new look of the house. Grateful to have found such a wonderful company. I will be having them do all the work in the future for our home. Such as landscaping, roof and other home remodels.

Backyard siding replacement. Our chimney had wood rot and now it looks brand new!

These guys were great! It started with a fair and competitive bid for the work. They answered all of our questions and the work looks fantastic! I would absolutely recommend them for anyone who needs siding and paint done.

Finished - looks great.

Our house has been an unmitigated disaster for two years running. We have had to replace every bathroom, every floor, the entire kitchen, the entire HVAC system, the hot water heater, pool pump, etc. We have had asbestos, mold, water damage etc. Just when we thought we were done we found we needed to replace every window in the house and redo the stucco. We got bids from five different siding companies, and in the end we went with All Sides even though they were not the cheapest. From the beginning Gabe worked with us and did not try to undersell to get the job. He listened to what we wanted and worked with us through making the best decisions on type of window, stucco, and a host of other issues. He would not skimp to lower the bid and explained why All Sides believed in the process they used. We are so happy we decided to go with All Sides! We are extremely happy with the job they did, how they did it, and the results. Everyone went the extra mile to make sure the job was done right and our concerns were addressed. They listen. They incorporate your feedback not just dismiss it. I have had at least 30 vendors in my house over the last two years and I only give out three recommendations. All Sides is one of them. Even when the job was done and paid for Gabe came out and helped with a couple of smaller things he was not obligated to do. You really feel like they appreciate your business and are trying to get a customer for life. Which they did! Can't recommend them enough - thanks again guys!

And the full internal framing replacement of 3 windows, insulation and drywall. Project crew was great, and professional. Being here was several weeks, I worked from hime to let them have access to the backyard and inside the house for their needed repairs. They all worked without issue and concern, and provided necessary updates when available. Communication with the city for permits was at issue at first, and an initial inspection was missed. As myself and the team weren't aware it was taking place at that specific time. 2nd inspection, the inspector was several hrs late and made the contractors wait all day, and no work could get done that day. Inspections after were good. Only issues I noted were a number of nails left out in my yard, all in the same area vicinity. Where my dog also goes out to walk, so that was a little concern. But there was nothing else that occured, and clean up for was good before and after. Total work - $18k+

1 Star: The Patio Looks Nice, but That's About It!…read more While I will admit that the finished patio looks nice, that is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experience with this construction company. The construction has been ongoing for months at Greenhaven Oaks Apartments, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for residents' personal property has been extremely disappointing. During construction, workers damaged my children's belongings, including my daughter's baby carriage and my child's bicycle. Nobody even had the decency to notify me that my child's bike had been broken. They also put a hole through my living room wall, which was eventually patched but left unpainted and unfinished. What is especially frustrating is what happened to my children's recycling. I have been teaching my kids responsibility by having them sort and separate our recyclables on their own. They worked hard to organize everything, separating the materials and bagging them up properly. We had seven bags of recyclables ready to go. The following weekend, we lost access to our backyard because of the construction, and we still have not regained access. Now, only one bag of glass bottles remains. I have no idea what happened to everything else. This was not just a pile of recyclables. It was something my children took the time and effort to organize as part of learning responsibility, and now their hard work has essentially disappeared without any explanation. I have already reported these issues to my apartment management, including the damaged baby carriage. A nice-looking patio does not excuse damaged property, missing belongings, poor communication, or a complete lack of accountability. Residents should not have to discover damage to their belongings or repeatedly complain just to have their concerns acknowledged. At the end of the day, the patio may look good, but the way this company treated residents and their belongings was anything but professional. The finished product might deserve five stars, but the overall experience deserves one.

Their proposal was very professional and detailed, listing what was to be done for each part of the job. They got to work pretty quickly after we came to an agreement and I was really impressed with David and his crew. They were sure to let me know when they would be there each day, and let me know when they found issues (and there were more than a few with our old house). They ended up fixing a number of problems with the woodwork around the house that I hadn't noticed how bad they were until they were exposed. The team worked through the holiday season and finished the job faster than we expected, which was really great. In the end I believe they provided excellent value that I would not have gotten from another firm.

I met with Kurt for the initial estimate and he was great in pointing out the kind of work that needed to be done and took the time to answer all of my questions. Once I made the decision to go with 3 Generations, I started working with Jeremy who went the extra mile to meet me at my work to sign the paperwork and select the type of siding for the house. We signed the paperwork in the late Fall, which is a busy time for them but Jeremy was always up front with their estimated timing, which I really appreciated. Once the work started, the job was completed pretty quickly. Again, Jeremy and his crew were very communicative and kept me updated on the status of the work until it was done. They also fixed some plywood dry rot and installed new plywood as well as correcting some roof deck problems in addition to all of the siding replacement. I've included some pictures the old siding, which was cracked and loose as well some pictures of the new siding to show the improvement. From my experience, I would recommend 3 Generations Improvements for any siding or repair work you may need!

Started off by getting quotes from the big names around us--Brothers, Home Depot, Northwest and a few other companies we found on Yelp. It was pretty confusing to decide which brand windows to install. Do we do Simonton, Milgard, Renewal, Andersen, Pella, etc? Did some online research and reading and decided to go with Anlin Windows because they had the best warranty, technology and quality that we were happy with. Went to Anlin's website and looked for their lists of dealers/installers that were close to us. Got a few quotes that were pretty comparable. Then one weekend, I contacted Good News on Yelp. Didn't think anyone would respond on a weekend but was surprised when Lon replied back. We set up a time to meet the next day. On the scheduled day and time, Lon showed up. He was very knowledgeable and we really liked what we heard about the company. I like how the company gives a portion of their proceeds to help people (see their website for more details). We liked Lon so much that we actually signed a contract with him that same day. (Usually we like to wait a few days and compare quotes) A couple days later, Etta at the office (cool name!) called us to schedule a day for installation a few weeks out. On the day of our installation, Brian and Serge showed up on the scheduled time and worked diligently the entire day. At the end of the day, I think they must have polished the glass or something because the windows looked amazing! My husband jokes that we now have 4K windows because they just look so great! We only did a portion of our windows because window replacement can be pricey. We will definitely have Good News HI to install the rest when the time comes. We told our friend about Good News recently and he also had them come out to do his windows. Highly recommend Good News if you're needing new windows! ETA: How cool that they have a referral discount! We referred our friends and Good News sent us a little thank you check after their installation. What a nice surprise! Previous Experience: We hired DL Design Construction last…read moreyear to completely renovate the exterior of our home with James Hardie siding, including windows, light fixtures, and all new electrical with an all new panel. Dimitry and his team exceeded our expectations so much so that we rehired them to build us not one, but two storage sheds. But did they really build us the storage sheds we wanted? Why Rehire? We had one previous storage shed. You know the one that everyone has. The so called Tuff Shed, in reality wasn't so tuff. It was falling apart. It was seated on cinder blocks that weren't stable or sturdy. There were gaps in between the doors and we wanted something more secure and airtight from dust and critters. Especially the smell. You know what i'm talking about if you've had one. We also wanted something more purposeful, and something that would have longevity. So we shopped around looking at Tuff Sheds from Home Depot & Lowes, but quickly realized that they were similar to what we all ready had just with a bit more bandages. We knew within a very short period of time these sheds were going to fail miserably from their design and cheap building material. So we picked up the phone and called Dimitry at DL Design who we TRUST. The Build: After discussing our requests with Dimitry his team went to work. Heres a brief breakdown of the work they did: They tore down the old shed, poured two concrete pads including a walkway leading up to the shed (that we just love). They anchored the shed down to the strong concrete pad, which practically made it tornado proof. They built the frame with precision and excellent craftsmanship. Insulated it so i can store more temperature regulated items. They sheathed the frame with plywood on the exterior as well as the interior. Then wrapped it with a water barrier paper. They installed several windows to help control temperature and bring in natural lighting. They installed a sturdy door with lock and key, which helped secure it, as well as prevent dust and insects from entering in. Unlike the prefab ones that have gaps and fall apart due to water intrusion and warping from sunlight. They finished the inside & outside with the best siding material out on the market, the James Hardie fiber cement siding. They also painted it from inside and outside with high quality paint. And not to fail to mention they installed electrical with an interior ceiling light and 3 outlets. You thought I was done, but i'm not. They also installed 3 custom gutters to help direct water away from the structures. The Upside: With these two new "sheds" we can utilize this space for so many purposes such as a new office space or even a gym. We can store things in there that we could never store in any new prefab shed out there. Such as food as an extra pantry, clothing such a transferring winter wardrobe from summer wardrobe. Storing blankets, towels, bed sheets, and not worry about things smelling like it came out of a shed. We no longer need to worry about bugs or critters getting to our valuables or moving in underneath the crawlspace making a din, since the "shed" is sealed airtight from all around. Why Hire DL Design Construction? Why I love to hire DL Design Construction? Because Dimitry is a great contractor. He combines technical expertise with, honesty, effective communication, and strong organization to deliver on time and within budget. He provided me with all the details, he's transparent, he provides written estimates, he managed subcontractors effectively, he's keen on keeping the job site tidy. He works hard on maintaining clear communication throughout the project. I am so thankful to the work his team has done to our property. Their craftsmanship is excellent. With each board cut to precision, and every nail driven in the correct position. They have exceeded our expectations yet again. So did they really build us a "shed"? No, they built for us something that exceeded our expectations in every way. Only Hire Reputable Sources: DL Design Construction has a solid reputation anyone should trust. This was my second time hiring them and they exceeded all expectations. They have a team of honest individuals about their capabilities and project timelines. They listen to your needs and answer questions promptly, and maintain regular, transparent updates. They offer detailed written estimates create realistic schedules, and ensure the job site is safe and organized. They have proven experience strong project management skills, and a network of reliable subcontractors. They are proactive, adaptable, and see challenges as opportunities for solutions, ensuring the project stays on track. They take pride in their work, focusing on high-quality results rather than just cutting corners, and are always showing enthusiasm for the project.

He was knowledgeable, straightforward, and took the time to explain the project and costs. We were getting quotes from several companies, so we hadn't made any decisions. What really stood out was that Phil, the owner, personally reached out that same evening to ask how the appointment went and whether our questions had been answered, regardless of whether we hired them. Coming from an HVAC sales background myself, that meant a lot to me. I've always appreciated family-owned businesses, and an owner who takes that kind of interest in a potential customer says something about how the company operates. Phil and I ended up talking about a roof replacement we were also planning. I'd already met with six roofing companies, but that conversation convinced me to get one more estimate. We ultimately hired California Energy for both the roof and insulation. What followed was a complicated project with multiple contractors working at our house, changing schedules, and a few unexpected problems. California Energy has been very accommodating throughout. Jamie, our project manager, deserves a tremendous amount of credit for coordinating everything. She's had to work around other trades, adjust schedules, and keep things moving while making sure our concerns were addressed. I know it hasn't been easy, and I genuinely appreciate the effort she's put into it. I've also had the opportunity to work briefly with Tony, another project manager, who has been incredibly responsive, helpful, and willing to step in whenever needed. John and Oscar, who handled the roofing work, have been excellent. They've been professional, attentive to details, and willing to follow through on questions or concerns. I genuinely have no complaints about my experience working with either of them. The roof is now complete, and the old attic insulation has been removed. We're waiting to blow in the new insulation until some electrical work is finished, with a few minor items still to wrap up. I also want to give Jose a special shout-out. While working at our home, he noticed an existing issue with our HVAC system that could have become a very expensive problem. Instead of simply pointing it out and moving on, he advocated for us, communicated with our existing HVAC contractor, and helped get the issue thoroughly investigated. That ultimately led to the discovery that our two-year-old rooftop HVAC unit was defective, and our HVAC company is now replacing it. Jose could have easily considered that someone else's problem, but he didn't. We're extremely grateful for his attention to detail and persistence. Thank you, Jose! Not everything has gone perfectly, but with a project of this size, I don't expect it to. What matters to me is how a company responds when legitimate concerns come up. In my experience, California Energy has listened, communicated, and worked to make things right rather than brushing us off. That speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. One thing that really stands out to me is how many employees I can name: Mitch, Phil, Jamie, Tony, John, Oscar, and Jose. Each has made a genuine impression and contributed to helping us navigate what has been a challenging few months of home projects. I think that says a lot about the people this company employs and the relationships they build with their customers. That kind of personal connection and accountability is becoming harder to find, and it's something I truly appreciate. We still have the insulation installation and a few finishing touches ahead of us, and I plan to update this review once everything is officially completed. Obviously, I can't speak to what their customer service will look like years down the road, but based on everything we've experienced so far, California Energy Consultant Service has earned an A+ from me. Phil has set a strong example as an owner, and his team has backed it up. From the initial estimate to managing a constantly evolving project, everyone involved has played a meaningful role in making this experience a positive one. I'm grateful we chose California Energy and appreciate everything their team has done for our family and our home.

The positives: Great communication, Alonso, Omar and Oscar…read morewere very attentive to detail and spent a lot of time making sure the end product of the windows and new trim is excellent. The negatives: a broken sprinkler, poor communication about permitting. Overall, we are very happy with the windows themselves. I wish the other details had been a little better, but big picture is that we are happy with the three contractors who spent all day in the sun and yet just powered through, not sacrificing quality work. Communication improved later, and we can already tell that these windows are better at keeping heat out than the old ones.
