They were sure to let me know when they would be there each day, and let me know when they found issues (and there were more than a few with our old house). They ended up fixing a number of problems with the woodwork around the house that I hadn't noticed how bad they were until they were exposed. Once I made the decision to go with 3 Generations, I started working with Jeremy who went the extra mile to meet me at my work to sign the paperwork and select the type of siding for the house. We signed the paperwork in the late Fall, which is a busy time for them but Jeremy was always up front with their estimated timing, which I really appreciated. Once the work started, the job was completed pretty quickly. Again, Jeremy and his crew were very communicative and kept me updated on the status of the work until it was done. They also fixed some plywood dry rot and installed new plywood as well as correcting some roof deck problems in addition to all of the siding replacement. We had two bids for this service and elected to go with Advanced Decking. Bob came out and delivered an awesome bid that was dramatically lower than his competition. His recommendation was to incorporate a Trex material that would match well with our current painted deck. He explained that it would be about two weeks to get into the schedule and they would remain on the job until completed. They arrived as promised and got right to work with only a $1,000 deposit. As they progressed another materials payment of half the remaining balance was requested and the remainder upon completion. The entire project including rain, which the men worked right through by deploying awnings, was roughly a week. The quality, craftsmanship and skill are evident in their work and finished project. After witnessing their meticulous workmanship, it was clear we had made the right choice for our project. 1 Star: The Patio Looks Nice, but That's About It!…read more While I will admit that the finished patio looks nice, that is honestly the only positive thing I can say about my experience with this construction company. The construction has been ongoing for months at Greenhaven Oaks Apartments, and the lack of professionalism, communication, and respect for residents' personal property has been extremely disappointing. During construction, workers damaged my children's belongings, including my daughter's baby carriage and my child's bicycle. Nobody even had the decency to notify me that my child's bike had been broken. They also put a hole through my living room wall, which was eventually patched but left unpainted and unfinished. What is especially frustrating is what happened to my children's recycling. I have been teaching my kids responsibility by having them sort and separate our recyclables on their own. They worked hard to organize everything, separating the materials and bagging them up properly. We had seven bags of recyclables ready to go. The following weekend, we lost access to our backyard because of the construction, and we still have not regained access. Now, only one bag of glass bottles remains. I have no idea what happened to everything else. This was not just a pile of recyclables. It was something my children took the time and effort to organize as part of learning responsibility, and now their hard work has essentially disappeared without any explanation. I have already reported these issues to my apartment management, including the damaged baby carriage. A nice-looking patio does not excuse damaged property, missing belongings, poor communication, or a complete lack of accountability. Residents should not have to discover damage to their belongings or repeatedly complain just to have their concerns acknowledged. At the end of the day, the patio may look good, but the way this company treated residents and their belongings was anything but professional. The finished product might deserve five stars, but the overall experience deserves one.
