Bill did various remodeling items including: 1) Complete bathroom remodel in 1 bath, 2) remodel and convert a 1/2 bath into a full bath by adding a shower, 3) adding new windows, 4) paint interior, 5) new water heater. All throughout the process he was very easy to communicate with and listened to what we were looking for and provided awesome suggestions, many that we implemented. I was very particular about the type of windows to be installed, due to thermal / sun / heat ratings and he worked with me and his supplier to ensure I received the windows that met my specifications. I made several changes after our original contract was signed, and Bill was fair in his change order pricing and was good about documenting the changes so there were no surprises at the end. Bill handled all of the permit issues, including engineered drawings, submission of permits, and inspections. Very smooth process. Bill is a professional and I'd certainly hire him again for any future work needs.

I had to let a previous contractor go. It was obvious to me his work was substandard. Vitaliy and crew had to undo everything they did and then start over. In addition, once they had almost completed the job I did not like the floor so had them redo. What I didn't like had to do with coloring and other things that had nothing to do with the quality of the installation. They redid the floor and I'm now loving my new shower. The initial consult was professionally conducted, and we were happy to sign right then and there to get things moving. Everything, start to finish, went like clockwork. Communication was good, cleanliness was maintained from demo to last touches, and the employees were top of the line in their professionalism. We had Aleksei Alaev do the construction and installation work and he was just the best. Handled everything really well, and his work is top shelf. Clean lines everywhere, nothing rushed or half-done. Highly recommend anyone thinking of a bathroom remodel - call Rose! Edited to add photograph and also add that we did the painting ourselves, after Rose's team were done. So any imperfections in the paint are on us! LOL PS: We call this room the Bath Cave because it was built into one part of a framed in porch on our very old (1890) house. Would not recommend Rose Remodeling - we met with this company at the Home show and set up an appointment- the sales rep (Eric) came out on the 4th in the evening, took measurements, we went over what we wanted and he said he would get us an estimate - haven't heard a peep - don't waste your time as they will waste yours and not communicate - he also kept saying "this is going to be expensive" without even knowing our budget. My husband was concerned that the sales guy didnt act like he knew what he was doing when talking through what we wanted, measuring - then we sat our our table for 15 minutes while he scrolled home depot site showing us shower heads -- I told him he could just send us something as I was losing patience -- so he said he would send us an estimate and left - that was 10 days ago - not an email saying working on it, not a can't do it -- nothing. I appreciate small businesses and want to support them but not to my time and expense. I also understand (from my past experince being a home show participant) that there may be an influx of sales calls, etc..however that is not an excuse for zero communcations after an inperson sales meeting. Poor leadership, sales and attention to detail which unfortunately for the team doing the work could cause more problems. Recommend to owners to be honest - if your sales team doesn't want to do the work or can't - just say so - don't say you're going to do something and never deliver!!! Also, why waste your money at the home show if this is how your sales team operates? If they don't communicate before the project, imagine the lack of communication during the project!!! RED FLAGS! I'm leaving two stars as the sales rep did provide a good picture of work Rose has done in the past that now I can use to show other companies what I want.

My house was built in 1962 and most of my bathroom components were original. I wanted to have both…read morebathrooms remodeled because they were both very ugly and depressing. I had several contractors stop by to give me estimates - a lot of contractors were very sloppy in their estimates, telling me they would give me a bathroom in five days or asking me to buy all the supplies, etc (as if I would know what to get), or telling me they can do it for $5k without permits. Anywho, Ivan from Vitex stopped by and asked a lot of questions on what kind of vision I had, and when I did not know an answer, he made suggestions. For example, he suggested I add a shower light - that's something I did not think of at all - and also pointed out things that were required for code upgrades, etc. The entire process was very transparent. After I received the quote, I met Ivan at the warehouse in Rancho Cordova and he helped me pick out the tile for the wall and the floor. Again, I'm clueless and he made the right recommendations that made sense. The crew arrived on day one and these guys work hard and other than their lunch breaks, they don't stop until the end of the workday. The workers were very pleasant and diligent. Very friendly. I really enjoyed having them here and they did excellent work. Once they were done, I proceeded to hire Vitex for bathroom #2, which involved removing a jet tub to build a walk in shower. This time I worked with Arthur, who was also excellent and the same worker crew. They did an excellent job with that bathroom, as well. What also helped was being in touch with Victor, the owner, via group text to keep me up to date on the project, etc. Also, for anyone doing their due diligence, Vitex is fully licensed and the work they did passed the City of Sacramento's inspection, so these guys are legit. I'll definitely recommend them to anyone I know looking for bathroom remodeling and will use them for future tile work. Thank you, Vitex! -Josh
