Couldn't be happier! From the moment I made contact with Daniel, he saw our project through. Had them overhaul our office space and laundry room flooring. Attention to the details (and keeping the house clean of debris/etc. went a long way too! We appreciate the whole crew and would have them back for future projects without question. Reasonably priced too!

We worked with Daniel to create a design that was fictional and affordable for our family of 4. Daniel was dry responsive. We made several design changes throughout the process because of supplies and timeline. Daniel was easy to work with and made the necessary changes without delaying our original timeline. Our kitchen remodel was completed in about 1 month from demo day to finish line. The Vitex crew is amazing! They're are tidy and respectful of our home. They clean up at the end of each day. Daniel gave us the work plans for the day, and provided info on who was coming to the house. One hiccup (not Vitex's fault) was our Zline dishwasher didn't work after install. The poor electrician spent all day trying to get it to work. He even tried to fix the motherboard for us! We finally had to contact Zline for a replacement, which took 3 weeks. By the our remodel was done. Vitex offered to come back and install for us even after the job was completed at no additional charge! Once our countertop and backsplash had time to settle the caulk line was cracked. We knew this to happen as it's our 3rd kitchen remodel. We called Daniel only to ask what color caulk he used so we can touch up. Daniel said our tile guy would be there tomorrow! Tile guy arrived the next day and touched up for us. Did we say this was our 3rd kitchen remodel (different houses)? No contractor/company has ever done that for us. We have already referred 2 friends to Vitex. They really do go above and beyond. We will reach out to them again when we're ready to remodel our primary bathroom.

So we bought a home that was a fixer in Elk Grove and it was a lot more involved than we thought it would be. We decided to split the projects between multiple companies due to timeline / availability but if we had a chance to do it over, we would go strictly with Vitex. Overall, what specifically set Vitex apart from the multiple contractors that we interviewed and the few contractors that we actually hired was Vlad from Vitex. He absolutely made, what at times felt overwhelming and stressful, an overall good experience. Price: Although I felt that the price was higher than anticipated, I found that their pricing was reasonable once I got multiple bids and once I saw the work complete. Although there will be a sticker shock for some (especially if you watch HGTV), you will see that their prices aren't the lowest but aren't unreasonable either. Timeline: Originally, Vitex mentioned that they were booked up and could not start until November (we were looking for contractors in August). This is why we decided to go forward for a part of the house with a contractor that could start earlier so that we could phase the construction and still somewhat live in the house. Unfortunately, the other contractor over promised and under delivered and did not start on time. Vitex on the other hand, started when they promised and worked on achieving the timeline that they promised. We were very happy with the progress made. Quality: Vitex worked on the primary bathroom in the house. This involved removing a wall between the original bathroom and closet to extend the bathroom larger and then walling off a separate section of the bedroom to create a new closet. This is the part where we were the most happy. Vlad walked us through step by step on the design, gave his input on pros and cons of each decision, and gave us very trustworthy, unbiased information that helped us to make decisions. Throughout the project, we ran across hiccups with other vendors that he helped us to find replacements for. There was even a hiccup with a painter that we hired that he helped us resolve. We could not be more thankful for him going above and beyond to help. Service: Vlad's communication throughout the process was great. We would communicate via text about once a week just to communicate decisions and sync on progress. Overall: Finding a contractor for us was very overwhelming at times because most of the time, you don't have any reference and for us, we were worried about getting stuck with the wrong contractor. At times, we felt like we did with some of them as we were going through this massive remodel. One of the things that we didn't regret was working with Vlad and the Vitex team and I am very appreciative of all of their help. Would highly recommend them to anyone considering remodeling within the home.

The ugly 70's rock wall and hearth
Jana C.

Contacted Vitex as they had done another project in my home, mainly my kitchen. I had a 70's floor to ceiling, wall to wall of rock with a fireplace insert in the middle. Contacted Vitex and Vlad came out to take a look at the elephant in my dining room. After getting the quote and then choosing finishes for the 'new' dining room wall, the fun started. We didn't know that the wall and hearth were about 6 - 8" thick. Jackhammers made short work of getting it out of there. The job was slated to be done in about 3 1/2 weeks and of course the Vitex crew came through. The popcorn ceiling was removed and then textured. New canned lights were installed. They then rebuilt part of the hearth so the pellet stove could go back in then rebuilt the fire wall. Cabinet with bookcases were installed then the hearth tile and stone veneer went up. Talk about a major transformation! I've recommended Vitex to several of my friends and they always do the best for what ever project they work on. Thanks Vitex for helping me get my dining room transformed from a dark cave to light and bright! Jana C.

After

We needed to remodel our kitchen and replace our floors on the first level - we had the standard 90's tile/cabinets. Vitex was a referral from our friends and Daniel was amazing to work with. We weren't looking to change layouts since our kitchen area is fairly small but we knew we wanted a cleaner more modern look. Daniel helped me pick out every detail and when I thought I made a decision he was great in offering different ideas that would work better. He's super responsive and never disappeared. The crew is amazing, super responsive and clean. Will definitely use them in the future for our bathrooms.

This is my second post after using Vitex Innovation again. First time was for a complete kitchen, laundry room and bar remodel that I am thrilled with after almost two years. This second time having had electrical work done and installation of two downstairs ceiling fans. Both workers (both Alex's) were timely, courteous, hard working, and very knowledgeable. Customer service is their strong suit at a time when good customer service is not so easy to find. You need not worry about that with Vitex Innovation. Thanks again Victor for providing quality workers that do quality work!

We chose Vitex for our cabinetry and countertop replacement in our home following a fire. We could not be more pleased with how all the rooms turned out. We worked with Sarah who helped us select cabinets and countertops within our budget and she rendered all the layouts so we could visualize the end results. Sarah was professional, paid attention to detail, and offered suggestions when decisions became overwhelming, someone you need when remodeling a home. Thank you Sarah and the Vitex team for a wonderful remodeling experience.

Viktor came out the very next day to install 22 kitchen/bathroom drawer/door pulls (knobs) and did a fantastic job. Finishing in only one hour, he was detailed and efficient by ensuring everything was even. He cleaned up right after the job was finished and kept my family's health in mind by wearing a mask the entire time. I definitely recommend his professional services!

I did an entire lap of the store and had to stop by a desk and ask for someone to help me. Wendy came over and was knowledgable and friendly and e-mailed me a quote a few days later. She is out of office and it auto forwards my e-mail to Jordan. Wednesday comes and goes and I don't hear back so I call the shop on Thursday morning and let them know I'm ready to order and speak to Jordan who mentions that I'm probably right and there was a price increase since then and that he'll look it over and send me a quote again. I don't receive an e-mail until Friday afternoon from someone else, Marcie who resends me the exact same quote from before with two hoods and a range when I had said twice I was ready to order the range and let me know how to get that processed. I was asked for my phone number and address again and waited for a reply to get my order placed- but I guess they went home for the weekend. I sent that over and didn't hear back again until Monday. I went ahead and placed my order Sunday with another retailer which ended up being $500 cheaper than the quote they sent over anyway. I was disappointed to see that PBK included a $200 shipping charge when I live a handful of miles away and could have accommodated a pick up if that was an option.

Their service and knowledge are top notch. There are far too many choices and brands out there to easily navigate on my own and clients don't want to pay for me to do the research each time. Premier makes it easy from having a dedicated appliance person (Nick) to keeping up on all the newest products and knowing which are the best made/less prone to problems in the long term. And providing demonstrations as needed. For the first time in my career I am working on a starter home kitchen with pre made cabinets and clients who needed a high quality, beautifully designed but low end price point. Jordan gave me the same high level of service I have received when clients are spending 10 times what these clients could afford. They are the best in town and statewide. I have had two out of town projects and Jordan referred me to the local showrooms. Same great service and attention to detail. I highly recommend them.

However, after looking at a handful of other slab yards I still hadn't found *the one*. (I was shopping for a quartz countertop for my bathroom and kitchen) I went back to Pacific Shore Stones on a Saturday in early January and it was busy. Anthony was working that day and even though it was busy and he was helping multiple other people, I never felt invisible or smothered, I was checked on, and I was offered guidance on some of the slabs I'd liked in the warehouse, as well as the slab options in the showroom. Anthony gave me a lot of helpful advice that I would have not known to ask about or possibly overlooked because I wasn't aware to even consider it. I was able to find my slabs and will update the review once my project is complete. I'm really happy I went back into the store and worked with Anthony, he really made the experience a great one.

Unfortunately our designer told us the slab wasn't available. Fast forward to 1/2022, we decided to again check PSS. Zack was there and remembered us plus the slab we had wanted. That's when we learned it had just sold two weeks earlier. Aside from being upset that our designer lied, we were amazed that after 6 months Zack cared enough to remember us and what we liked. The inventory at PSS is extensive, a bit overwhelming trying to decide on which ones would go in our bathrooms. So we took pictures and came back later. We should have made an appointment, since Zack was out when we returned. All of the staff are friendly and attempted to help. PSS had new inventory, which left us making new decisions. Unlike paint, which easily can be changed, stone is forever. We finally decided on quartzite in Crystal Tiffany (green/white tones) and Scarlet Crystal (pink/lilac/gold tones). My pictures don't capture their true beauty, especially the Scarlet in sunlight - WOW. The Tiffany was delivered to our fabricator Euro Tile and looks great in our primary bathroom, see pics. This morning we heard from our fabricator regarding the Scarlet Crystal delivery. Although great care was taken in storing and delivering these 2 quartzite slabs, something happened in transit leaving both with several hairline cracks rendering them unusable. OMG what a way to wake up. We called PSS, Zack answered and said as soon as Euro Tile called refusing delivery he already ordered 2 replacements from the same lot - that's very important otherwise could be different colors. He assured us it would arrive next week by 9/1. That's custom service.

They were slightly less expensive than other options, but I liked the veining and was assured by Jesse that they were good quality. After installation, it was apparent there were rough spots on the slab and that it was bowed in the middle. The installation was worse: they did not check the peninsula for squareness first and instead just installed a crooked counter top, flush with the cabinets at one end but an overhang at the other. They cut the quartz inside my home without protection (leaving fine dust all over the floors and furniture), the seams were rough and messy, there was chipped paint off my walls, and they even left oil stains on my driveway. Customer service was nonexistent. My concerns were dismissed by Jesse- he told me I must be picky and hard to please. There was never any pressure to sign, which I genuinely appreciated. When questions came up after his visit, Paul responded quickly with a phone call followed by a detailed email complete with photos and examples. That level of follow-through is hard to find. Once I signed the contract, Jaime came by to confirm measurements and listen to my ideas, translating them into a well-defined project plan. After completing the project and later comparing with other options, it became clear that the pricing was not aligned with the level of quality we received. The paint has started rubbing off within a year, the drawer hardware feels very low quality (mostly plastic), and the drawers did not close properly from the installation. The drawer slides and soft-close mechanisms are low quality, feel cheap and unreliable, and the slide system doesn't function properly. With our prior Ikea drawers, which had metal throughout, that was never an issue. These are fundamental issues that should not occur at this price point. Support was also a challenge. Communication felt defensive, and we had to follow up multiple times just to get someone to come out for fixes. Based on our experience, we would not recommend JV Cabinets.
