I feel like a kid in a candy shop every time I walk into this store. We're remodeling our house, we're so happy with all the options and prices this store has to offer. We found a few different styles of tiles that we liked, we purchased them today. I had a hard time picking just one, I knew for sure I wanted white or a neutral. They had way more to choose from than what I expected. I only wish they had better customer service, we have to find someone every time we have questions. Since there aren't many floor and tile stores in Lake Tahoe, we decided to check out Floor & Decor in Rancho Cordova. We looked online prior and they seemed to have a larger selection than other stores. I like seeing things in person, so we decided to go check it out. It's pretty easy to navigate and browse. Someone on the floor did come up to us to see if we needed any help. We found out from him that most people just buy a single tile as a sample. We actually ordered a few samples online before coming here at $5 each. But some of these samples were tiny. One actually looked like a plain white tile since none of the design was on the section they cut. So I'd suggest not getting samples sent to you from the site. May be a waste of $5. We ended up getting the last 6 tiles listed above. Tho I was randomly taking pix of displays that interested me. Will post in case anyone wants to see what they look like in person. Check out was pretty easy. Tho the bar codes on the side of the tiles can be a bit hard to scan. They don't provide any kind of protective wrapping, etc, for individual tiles purchased. I'd suggest if you don't have a way to transport them home as is, to wait until you do. We are very upset with the way Floor and Decor handled our flooring issue. We had contractor install the product and in less than a year, it started cracking at the seams. When I spoke to claims department, they said their warranty does not cover chairs with rollers and that a mat is required. My husband is disabled and uses the chair in house without an issue on formerly installed product from Home Depot. I do not want to do business with them again! read more

There are tons of options from the more cost conscious to luxury level material Let your creative dreams go wild. I love the variety of options they have here. Phillip Pierce approached us in-store to see if we needed assistance. At first, we thought we had everything under control--we had already picked out our tiles and were just planning to load up. But I'm so glad he stayed nearby, because we ended up having several questions and learned a lot thanks to him. Phillip spent nearly an hour with us as we decided on grout colors, even grabbing another cart to help load one of the shower tiles we needed. He explained the differences between types of grout and pointed out where we could save money depending on the application. When I joked about my husband making multiple trips to Home Depot for every project, Phillip took the time to walk through a checklist to ensure we had everything needed for our bathroom remodel. To top it all off, he helped us load all the tile into our truck. I honestly didn't know this level of customer service still existed. He absolutely deserves recognition--and a raise! read more

He made my first impression about the store. He educated ne about flooring, I ended up buying 2 and half pallets of vinyl flooring and also I bought express gold for my shower remodel ,I really like the attitude of all the employees. We purchased a vanity from them in September 2023. The finish is already wearing off. I sent them an email about two weeks ago and we have not even had an acknowledgment they received the email. I ordered a ton of different tile for various bathrooms, entryway tile and over 2,000 square feet of Nucore LVP flooring for the main living areas. I used Floor and Decor for my home flooring project (both the Rancho and Roseville locations) and I have to say that every single time I went in there I had a 5/5 experience. I thought the prices were reasonable and the selection was really well rounded. Throughout the process I think I interacted with basically every position in the store on different days, for different reasons, with issues of varying complexity and without fail whoever was helping me was kind/positive and very competent. I really genuinely felt like they wanted me to have a good customer experience. I feel like it's so rare to have exceptional customer experience that consistently in a retail space so I just wanted to leave this review so whoever is managing these locations can give their entire staff some kudos. There's a really large selection of colors, materials and textures here. They also sell basic installation material as well as the extras like trim, niches. It's nice to have so much to choose from but I was on a tight timeline and needed to make selections asap. It was my 3rd time in this week. I'd seen Bryant every time. He'd always greet me and ask if he could help me with anything. I'd been saying no but yesterday I broke down and said yes. I'm so glad he was there. In a snap Bryant helped me narrow down the types of tile I like, pros and cons of each (and gave me solutions for the cons- like sealant for marble), and helped me find matching items. My daughter and I walked into the Rancho Cordova store and were greeted immediately. As we wandered through the aisles, we met Cassie. She helped us sooo much. She thought of things we hadn't even considered. Cassie also mentioned there is a Design Studio available to customers (free!!). After spending a few hours considering different options, my daughter chose her tile for her dream bathroom. What impressed us was the friendly and helpful staff, clean and well-lighted showroom, huge selection with design boards and vignettes, and good prices with ample return policies. Asked the guy at the service desk to understand vinyl flooring thickness differences but he really didnt know and couldnt explain benefits or gains from thicker or thinner products. About 6 weeks ago I made the decision to have my counters replaced from the standard builder's grade white tile to new quartz counters with a new sink. As most of you know there are a ton of options out there with who to choose to do the work and to pick out the right quartz option that fits both your budget and aesthetic. After getting three quotes I landed on Floor and Décor in Rancho Cordova. The process was made simple by the program they have in the store that lets you choose from at least 15 or 20 quartz options ranging in color and price and the sink so you are not having to go to multiple vendors and making choices that could put you in a position where you pick the wrong item. So, I picked Floor and Décor to do the work for me, I had the pleasure to work with James Cota who was very professional and really helped take what could have been a very stressful situation and made the process feel very easy.
