This store is fantastic! Great prices, quality products, and friendly service. The sales were great too, but they do not correlate to the sales at the other Contractors Warehouse stores. For example, kitchen cabinets were on sale at this store but were not on sale at the Contractors Warehouse on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights. Staff are friendly and polite. The store selection is good, not as much variety as a Home Depot or Lowe's, but still an amazing selection nonetheless. There is a rental counter in the left of the store when you first walk in which never has a line. Cashiers were efficient and lines moved quickly. Yellow price tags indicate clearance aka discontinued items. There is also a drive through lumber yard but I can't speak on that as I haven't done that yet. read more

Contractor's Warehouse is like a cheap version of Home Depot and Lowe's. The aisles are narrow and they don't seem to use the AC/ heater. Prices are typically slightly less than other stores. Lots of cheaper items and deals. The return policy is only 30 days. Employees are friendly. Lots of tool and equipment in stock to rent. Usually not as crowded as other home improvement stores. read more

This business supply house would be fine for professional contractors that know exactly what they need and don't mind wandering around on their own to find it. It is not a good place IMO, for typical DIY homeowners who want advice or staff to help them find the right items. For that Home Depot and Lowes are better choices. With Home Depot and Lowes, you also get 90 day returns instead of 30 days for Contractor's Warehouse. So let me be clear. If I were a pro contractor I might very well give this place 5 stars. Went to this store today to purchase interior doors. Although there were at least 5 employees at or around the front service desk and check stand, not one would make eye contact or acknowledge my presence as I stood waiting to ask a question. After saying "excuse me" numerous times and raising my voice as I went along, one employee, who seemed irritated, reluctantly answered my inquiry about where to find the doors! Once I found and loaded the doors myself on a cart, I had to repeat the experience of asking about where to find the hardware, which they were out of. The store does seem to have a sizeable inventory of mixed quality, but there is no logic to how or where it is displayed. So, if you don't mind wasting your valuable time walking the entire store searching for the product you want, this is the store for you. If I could give negative stars for customer service, this place deserves it. Lastly, everything I looked at was dirty, scuffed, taped like it was a return, and in some areas had rat droppings on it. Chris from the tool rental dept deserves his flowers. He went above and beyond helping me determine which tools to rent that would be appropriate for my job at hand. He greeted me as soon as I walked in and scheduled me for a pick up for a bobcat right away. The next day I came, he made the pick up very easy after going over some instructions and safety tips. This store is the best place to go for the serious general contractor or the experienced "do it your selfer". They have a wide range of building materials at much cheaper prices compared to the big name chain home improvement stores. Joe K and I enjoy shopping here whenever we get the chance. It's just a bit out of our way and sometimes too inconvenient to drive for supplies. Selections are limited on some things, but so worth the trip just to find out. You may end up changing your mind on what you were originally searching for and go with what they have instead. The inexpensive prices might bring a smile to your face as it did us! Joe found back board, lumber, primer, nails and stack stone from 20-50% off the prices compared to Lowe's or Home Depot! They even have the right size window I need to replace in my kitchen! The price was more affordable than I expected! Now, if I can only find that perfect time to have it installed! The atmosphere here is more laid back, allowing you to spend time thoughtfully deciding on what to purchase. This place often has a larger variety of harder to find supplies that you can't find elsewhere. And most often, the prices are even better! One of their best features is the drive-thru lumber area. It's a great and convenient way to drive your pickup to each station of sized and stacked lumber, bricks, and other heavy items. Load them as you proceed to the temporary parking area, where a staff member checks your selections, then lists the products and prices for you to take to the front register to pay. After you finalize your purchases, you are then allowed to exit the lumber yard. The warehouse is large and roomy. And the customer service has always been friendly and helpful, even though there are less employees here, they seem to show up right when you need some help. If you want to not be acknowledged by a single employee and have your brand new kitchen cabinets covered in rat feces this is your place to shop! Came in looking to buy new shaker kitchen cabinets for my kitchen remodel. Plenty of employees sitting behind desks as soon as you walk in, not even a head was turned our way. Headed towards the cabinets and upon inspection was in shock that there is rat feces everywhere!! Ground, shelves and even inside some of the cabinets. This place has a major infestation problem. Buyer beware, please check your cabinets before you purchase. Kitchen remodels are expensive. I will take my business elsewhere. read more

Ei came here to get some singing. The lumber yard looks clean and I mean clean in both ways. Clean all the floors and a lot of stuff aren't even there. I was looking for a v rustic and it took me a while to separate good v rustic from the shitty cricked one. I also needed to get 60 pcs of 5/8 plywood osb and the guy that was working there tried helping me by pointing at regular plywood and telling me that that's the item that I need. I felt like no one is listening. When I came to pay there I was looking for staples. Their staples is located in different parts of the store. Hey I was really surprised. Arine is the worst cashier. She was ringing me up and some guy came up to her asked a question and she just left. Very unprofessional. read more

I've driven past this place a bunch and then finally stopped in and wasn't disappointed. I found that they were cheaper than HD, from $1 on some of their minwax selections to $80 less on butcher blocks. They don't have as much of a selection, but what they have is good. read more

I was looking forward to getting lumber here as it was my first time. I was picking through 1x6's because they were in bad shape. It looked like it had been picked over many times. We made good progress when one of the employees asked us if there was a problem. I said nope. Just picking through the bad ones. He mumbled something and walked away. A few minutes later another employee, maybe a manager, asks us if there's a problem. I said yeah, there are a lot of bad boards. I asked him if he has a problem and he asked us to put the board back when we were done. I told him we were planning to. Also, there was no one else around. Needless to say I won't be back. Lowe's and Home Depot have the same prices and they don't harass you. We went to Lowe's and found better lumber. read more

I should have come here first! I like the selection of quartz countertops and they had beautiful backsplashes with samples so I could coordinate them with the countertops. At the big box stores they were completely out of samples for EVERYTHING. There weren't even pieces of the backsplash to walk over to where the counters were or where the floors were. We are doing a home remodel (which is stressful enough), just bought a patio sliding door and it fell in transit (totally our fault) and half of it broke. UGH. Called them and they said to come back and bring the receipt in and we'll see what we can do. Went straight back to order a replacement door. Nope instead they took the door off another full door in stock and sent me home with a replacement!!! And AT COST. I'm still in shock. THE BEST!!! This is the best store to get whatever you need! The customer service is absoluetly the best. This store isn't ever too busy or crowded. My #1 Favorites, Jessica and Alexis. Hard to just name just these 2 because everyone, I mean everyone is always a pleasure to deal with. We are in the process of remodeling our kitchen. Man, doing this type of thing is stressful! You don't know if you trust the people doing the work, you don't know if you'll run into any problems, you have to make major decisions on tiles, countertops, appliances, etc. Turns out that they discovered dry rot! Anyway, I digress... I've driven by this place before and seen it when I turn off the freeway. I imagine this was what Home Depot must have looked like back in the day. It is a huge warehouse-like set up with your typical aisles for hardware, pipes, etc. The customer service here is pretty much non-existent. Example in point: - I asked where the shopping carts are. - Wave of the hand, "they're over there". - I stroll over to where the hand was gestured and do not see any carts. - Umm...excuse me, I don't see them. - Bothered smirking response, "you have to go through the gated area outside". - Feeling sheepish and irritated and wondering why one of the three idling employees who are talking about their weekend could not have simply walked over and gotten me a cart: Oh, thanks. See what I mean? Would you get that kind of crap from Home Depot? They still get three stars from me because I found some very cool glass tiles at a great price. There is a tile store in the vicinity who quoted me $18.50 a square foot and I found the same ones at this place for $4.92. If you are a builder type of person, which I'm not, and don't need any help and know your prices, then this is the place for you. If you are like me and just want to pick out appliances and color themes, you might want to go somewhere that is more customer-focused. read more

The stacked stone for my fireplace reface project was so inexpensive and it seems like they keep everything well-stocked. I ended up getting floor and backsplash tile here too. The selection isn't as huge as the other big box stores but the quality of their mosaic tile styles worked better for me and my needs. read more

Came here to look around after seeing the pretty good reviews. It's like Home Depot or Lowe's, only it's mostly contractors and industry people who shop here. It's open to the public though and it's great fun to shop here (ok, maybe it's just me as I really like hardware stores). We enjoyed walking around even though we weren't looking for anything in particular. Eventually we got some faucets for great prices. They have some special deals there, clearance prices are great. They carry brands and items not sold in other home improvement stores. We might not come here all the time, but we plan to be back! read more

HD Supply is the "MacGyver" version of home supply and repair stores. If you're an experienced contractor who knows what they need then you'll feel right at home. If you're the average homeowner who doesn't know squat then you're better off at Lowe's. Don't get me wrong, HD Supply is great for the adventurous do-it-yourselfer on a budget. Their prices are cheaper and their selection of after-market discounted goods may help inspire you during a home remodeling project. But they don't carry major yard appliances or a lot of the basics that you'd find at their big competitors. I came in here looking for a weed eater and was out of luck - they only rent. So for more of the basics, look elsewhere. read more

Been here a lot as i am a construction worker and do my own work around the house. Prices are standered but higher than they should be considering location and state of building. Now for the killing blow. Their employees are horrible. Now i don't expect a construction expert but these people don't know what or where anything is. Not to mention the operators there are obviously poorly trained in the equipment. It took me hours just to pick up a mini bobcat. They rented out the one we reserved and didn't have the correct trailer although they said they did over the phone. And it's mistakes like this that pop up during every visit and make them take way longer than they needed to. Not only this but employee attitudes are sour and rude, and most of them are unkempt and not dressed appropriately for work. I won't be returning to this location which is a shame because I believe that hd supply is a necessary shop for pros like myself and homeowners he need any specific materials My advice? Train employees better and make sure that they understand the importance of appearance, costumer service, and most of all efficiency read more

I and my husband walked into the store at 7 Pm late work hours of the day for us who are 60+ and to the stores. That is when we met a young gentleman Mr Abdul. He is smart, Patient with old people, listened to our stressful minds and provided right solution within few minutes. He did not leave us there , he walked us to the billing counter and introduced us to Ms. Perez. Had the WORST experience with HD online store. Placed a purchase on April 11 and tried to cancel it on Monday April 12 and was told I am not allowed to because I missed the 24 hour window. Was informed that I had to wait till it arrives and then contact HD to have them come pick up. So fine.. I decided to keep the product. Then on April 17 I got a confirmation showing that it has been shipped (yeah) and will arrive 4/22. When it did not show up they now inform me that the estimated delivery date is from HD to TForce (a separate shipper they contract with to delivery furniture). And that I need to contact them directly. So I contact TForce and gave them the tracking number and OF COURSE they don't have the product and ask that I contact HD instead. An hour later I got a live person and after she researched it she said it looks like the product has not even left HD warehouse. I was irate and ask to cancel it and was told I am not allowed to since the product has already shipped (another lie by HD - first she said not left HD warehouse and then now cannot cancel cos it has been shipped??) and asked that I be patient... I asked her how long I should be patient for since I am now out 1 grand, and was told she has no idea, but she is sure that it would show up sometime. I was persistent in trying to find out what my options are because another purchased I made through them on April 9 never made it either. And was told the same story that I cannot cancel it. But after many painful hours and time that I can never get back, they finally agreed to refund it because they found out that the product got lost (aka stolen) enroute between HD to UPS. That took several weeks of calling before I got my money back. And that was for a $69 item. I am VERY upset that this $1,000 item may not show up and I will be stuck trying to get my money back!!!! Lesson learned. HD online services SUCKS and I will never buy from them every AGAIN!!! read more

This place is like Home Depot for Home Depot. We came to buy tile and were not disappointed. They carry 3-4 times the selection of most big box stores and have massive quantities of everything. You could get lost in this place, it's huge! Don't expect a lot of personal help here, as you'll only see employees wheeling pallet jacks around for other customers.
