I'm so tired of the crappy service I receive here. Almost every time I call in an order they don't make it for me. Then when I arrive they always say I must have called the wrong store. I actually showed them the call log on my phone this time and then was told, well we are very busy. It also seems like every time I come in here there are new people working here. I've had a Sherwin-Williams account for years, but can't believe how bad this location is. This may be a good place if your a DIY and need a gallon of paint for a small project. But as far as trying to get things done on time you're better off going anywhere else. read more

I've visited this location twice recently because it's closest to my home, but I'll never go back. The first time, I was looking for some suggestions for colors that would coordinate with an odd color in my home that cannot be changed. I was simply looking for standard color coordinating materials, whether that be booklets or other SW materials. When I asked an employee for help I was told, "I cannot answer any questions about color choice due to lawsuits. SW has been sued too many times by unhappy customers so we no longer provide color suggestions." This was the opposite of Benjamin Moore who literally sent an employee out to my home FOR FREE to look at the offending color and make thoughtful suggestions. Guess where I bought the 100 gallons of paint needed? I went back again (shame on me) to buy a SW paint sample. I'd narrowed it down to two colors and wanted to test it in situ. Walked in and asked for the color by name and a paint sample. The first thing I was asked with much disdain was whether I'd pre-ordered it. No, I had not thought to pre-order a sample size paint, and I'd need it mixed. With even more disdain, he asked if I should just go get the paint chip. No, I said, I wanted to put it on the wall and would need the sample. With much huffing and puffing, he began to fill out an order form, which seemed unnecessary, but it's not my process. He began to explain that their samples were made of recycled paint and wash off with soap and water. I said no, I don't want it to wash off, I just want a small container of paint, and asked if they carried small sizes of paint. He told me that I should just go with the sample unless my color choice was final. Huh? I'm not sure if this was because I was a woman or if he treats all his customers as if they have no idea how paint works, but it turns out I know my own mind well enough to know that I wanted to buy a small sample size of paint. I said I would just like the paint if he would sell it to me, and he again tried to tell me that what I really needed was the soap washable color in the most patronizing, condescending, eye rolling way possible. Guess who walked out and went straight to Lowes? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me I guess, but I'll never be back, that's for darn sure. read more

Don't shop here, the manager John is a very rude and unprofessional. I called for a price check, giving him my contractor's info as he's busy during the current project. The manager didn't let me get the price quote using my contractor account because he wasn't there, which is fine. So I told the manager about the 25% off coupon on the paints which he had no idea about... then told me he will look up, put me on hold then couldn't find anything and said he has no internet. After having me reading the coupon online to him, he refused to give me the price quote and accused me of doing fraud... huhh?!!! He then concluded that I need to come into the store before he can give me the price quote for that 25% discount. Are you serious ?!!!! I worked for retails in the past and this is not how you deliver customer services, especially from a manager's perspective. We received excellent and friendly service here last weekend. We stopped in to look at paint colors and buy a few samples to try out. They were super FAST with mixing our paint. Gave us help when we needed it and left us alone after. We'll definitely be back. Great location in Rancho Cordova. Big store, lots of parking right in front. read more

Don't shop here, the manager is a very rude mask enforcer. I walked in without a mask and neither employee said anything. They were mixiing/shaking my paint and I was buying brushes, masking tape and other items and they were just about to ring me up when the manager walked in and just blew up on me for not wearing a mask. Received very bad customer service from who I think was their store manager. She assumed I was with some company without asking me proper questions, wasted my time, I had to make unnecessary phone calls because of her mistake, and when she realized her mistake she didn't even apologize. Felt like she was giving me a favor by selling me $180 bucket of paint. I decided to just stick Kelly Moore or Lowes instead. Not to mention, Lowes color matches and prepares your color in 10 minutes, these guys took 45. These guys need better management and training. read more

Straight up lies!!! Came in here to exchange my paint from high reflective white to a non voc paint. The guy at the register straight up lied. Said they don't carry high reflective white in a non voc paint. Straight up lies, because I called another store and asked if they carry my paint in a non voc paint. They said YES!! read more

I am a go to gal for Sherwin Williams paint for my clients. As an Interior Designer, I recommend SW paint. The Durations paint goes on so smooth and wears so well.. No problem washing it if needed. These guys are awesome. They gifted me with a paint book over a year ago when I first bought my house in Rancho Cordova ... and it's taken me that long to decide what the heck I wanted to do! :)) Went in there on a Sunday, the service was great, got some samples that were very inexpensive, and decided on a color! My kitchen now looks amazing. The paint is great quality and the service was outstanding. So happy they are so close by, now I am feeling brave enough to start tackling some other painting projects! read more
