My first experience with Ferguson Home and I have to give 5 stars, would give 10 if I could! Kathy Miller worked so hard to get me the right water heater at a great price! It was an emergency and I had no hot water! She also recommended an amazing installer Top Dog Plumbing, and between Kathy and Ed at TDP I had hot water by dinner and even though it was an emergency home issue, it came in under the expected cost. Thank you Kathy and Ferguson!! You have a customer for life! read more

We remodeled our kitchen and got all appliances here. From day 1 we had a major problem with a Fisher-Paykel dishwasher. That's not their fault but getting the issue fixed is another story. Between them and fisher nothing but passing the buck. This has been going on from the 1st month we purchased to almost 2 years. We thought it was solved when fisher is giving a replacement. WRONG. Delivery people couldn't install because of huge dent in it. Now 3 weeks later board about when it will be replaced and another run around on the phone. Called, sent to voicemail, no call back. Called again and pudge on to someone else but out of office. So buyer beware. Will not purchase from here again. read more

I ordered a new toilet from Fergusons after waiting about thirty minutes for a representative to help me in the showroom. The first one came and was "dropped" off on my driveway. Completely destroyed. I called and the person said "Ok, we'll send out another. Second one came and the driver was "rolling" it out of the cab of the truck. Completely destroyed. Week three and I called and they said, "Ok, we'll send out another." A week later when the truck pulled up I stopped the driver and told him I wanted to inspect it. "Completely destroyed. After three destroyed toilets I called and they wanted to send another. I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. I received the refund for the toilet itself and not the tank portion that you buy separately. I called again and they wanted me to me to take the tank to UPS and ship it back at my cost. After over a month without a a working bathroom toilet and back and forth, I went to Home Depot and received my new toilet in two days intact. I felt like they really did not care about my inconvenience. The last person I talked to finally said oh, I'm sorry that happened. Not the best experience with Fergusons. read more

Pro-tip: Use the showroom and then buy everything elsewhere. There is no "excellent customer service" value add when something goes wrong. They are salespeople only. We spent $13k on everything needed for a kitchen remodel. The dishwasher showed up out of the box with damage. It was refused and put back on the truck. The oven was delivered with a faulty touchscreen, which was only discovered after installation. I know it's not necessarily their fault, but they did not seem to give a damn. It was May 13. The best they could give as an ETA for replacement was "Late May to early June," so I went on HomeDepot.com and found the same dishwasher for cheaper. It was delivered literally next day. When I called to cancel the order, the lady seemed dismayed. She said "That's too bad, your dishwasher was delivered today." Oh well. It took 3 weeks of me calling twice a week for the oven. I don't understand how they stay in business. Edit: Notice how they spin their response? I did reach out to Hannah and she never called me back. These people are just fronting. read more

Ferguson's is my go-to when taking clients to select appliances & fixtures for kitchen & bath remodels. Such an easy stop with a huge selection under one roof. I always work with Corey Benham as he provides a wealth of knowledge & answers every question thoroughly. He's fun to work with & provides great customer service, even after the purchases are made. read more

Ferguson's has a plethora of options to choose from and we came here at the request of our contractor. The sales people are very good and helpful. We came in today due to a partial delivery and Tonya took exceptional care of us. The three stars reflect the attitude of the woman at the front desk. I understand that not everyone likes their job, however, friendliness, helpfulness and smiling goes a long way. This was not our first time dealing with her, so this was not a one-off. Clearly this is not the best place for you to be. Ferguson's management, please take note. read more

My local store, on Madison Ave. is good and the people there are very helpful. Unfortunately everything is controlled by "corporate" and after you leave the store delivery, installation, refund, etc. is in the hands of strangers in a different time zone. My "in stock" purchase was not in stock and was delivered in the 5th week after purchase, and was damaged when it arrived. New delivery was uncertain so I asked for a refund. After a week the refund is still "in process" and needs "management approval." That will take at least another week. I went to a different seller, bought the same machine, and it was installed in 4 days. I won't be back ! read more

Delay, delay, delay! But that ended but our disappointment w the Thermidor appliances continued. We redid our kitchen and thought we'd treat ourselves to some upper high end appliances. Micro wave sparked because plastic covered metal wheels melted plastic off. Technician confirmed issue and brought out exact same item and explained "that's what they come with". Oven tech said we should not use self cleaning method on oven, "it will warp the racks and to only leave one of three racks in for normal use cuz they will warp". The refrigerator drawers are a constant source of irritation because of the way they slide unevenly. All in all a very bad selection of Thermidor appliances that cost about $20K. Should have spent $6K at LIWES and gotten all Kitchen Aid. Ferguson highly recommended these appliances. read more

We are getting our bathroom remodeled next month but still needed to get vanity lights, mirror, and sink faucet. Spent half a hr looking around without anyone asking if we had any questions or anything (despite passing an employee who wasn't helping anyone, twice). Nonetheless we found a really nice mirror and lights but couldn't find anyone to help us. So my husband went to the reception desk and the lady said "let me get someone to help you" and then proceeded to not do anything. Didn't page anyone, nothing. There were two older people seemingly getting the royal treatment so I don't know if we were too young (I doubt it, as we are both almost 40) or if we look poor or something. Who knows or cares. I'm not going to tackle someone so that I can give them money, so we left. Side note: Their faucets are weirdly more expensive than everything else. The majority of the vanity lights were around $300-$400 and seemed to be good quality while the majority of sink fixtures were $1000+ and all felt like cheap plastic. read more

I've worked with Sarah George for 5 years now, and she is the reason we shop at Ferguson. She makes the entire process so much easier because she knows her products inside and out, and she's quick to respond whenever I have questions. Sarah is detail-oriented and always goes the extra mile to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. She notices things most people would miss, and that level of thoughtfulness has saved me time (and headaches) more than once. I had never been to Ferguson's showroom before so Sarah invited us in and personally walked us through everything they offer. She took the time to explain the different product lines and options, which was incredibly helpful for us as contractors. It gave us a much better understanding of what's available and how we can better guide our clients during the selection process. She's incredibly dedicated and hardworking, and even though I know she's busy, she never makes you feel that way. She always sets aside time when it's needed. Beyond her expertise, Sarah is simply great to work with - friendly, reliable, and someone I can always count on to follow through. After five years of projects together, I can confidently say Sarah is the best in the business and I will always recommend her to fellow contractors, interior designers, and clients! read more

Summary: Older lady at the front desk of the Sacramento store is snooty and rude . Walked around for 30 minutes looking for a few items ...NO ONE AROUND TO ASSIST. Staff is very "Uppity". They have a nice display but overpriced. read more

I was doing a total bathroom remodel and had to pick out fixtures but was completely overwhelmed and didn't know where to start. To my rescue: Todd Hopping at the Madison Ave location. He was very patient and willing to answer my million questions. I left with a personalized shopping cart with the items that he and I had picked out. But the real magic happened after I returned home. Todd went above and beyond to help me troubleshoot plumbing issues that we encountered while trying to install the new. fixtures. He was always responsive and excellent with the follow-up. Todd is such an asset to Ferguson - I am so thankful that he was my sales associate! read more

Alexander Neal is the best salesman on the floor, no question. He has encyclopedic knowledge of every product, knows when it matters to choose the pricier item (and, just as importantly, when it doesn't), is unfailingly polite and patient, and a genuine pleasure to work with. We're doing a whole house remodel, which requires a lot of choices. Alex guided us painlessly through the process, and was meticulous about catching every detail. He could sell anything -- he's that good and that dedicated to knowing his stuff. It's our good fortune that he happens to be at Ferguson Appliances and that we got him as our salesman. No one will work harder for you. Ignore whomever your architect or contract just happens to know and ask for Alex. There's no difference in the ultimate price and he's the best! read more

Pretty big selection of lights! Came here after going to Lamp Plus and I must say Ferguson has the same number, if not more lights available in their showroom! In addition there is a lot of model bathtubs, kitchens, and outdoor grills for you to look at. The staff are all very friendly. Mostly they don't bother you. The inside of the showroom is kept very clean, of course. Price is obviously a little on the high side, but that is the market Ferguson caters to I guess. If you are looking for design inspiration for your kitchen, bath, or outdoor patio, this is a good place to check out! read more

For seven years I worked with the Ferguson store in Reno where the service was excellent. This morning, I had a situation which needed immediate attention, and I called the Sacramento store. There, I was greeted professionally and introduced to Mary DiMarco. Mary found the sink I needed and offered to overnight it directly to the fabricator. Due to Mary's proactiveness, I did not interfere with the contractor's schedule. Thanks Mary read more

We knew exactly what we wanted. As we walked through the front door, the first person we saw, a man sitting at the front desk, immediately looked at his watch and shook his head. (It was 4:30. They list they close at 5). We stated we knew what we wanted but he practically tossed a unit at us as he walked away, mumbling gruffly that a salesperson would be ready when the unit notified us. The salesperson, Alex, was much nicer and attentive. He helped us efficiently and promised our unit would be delivered in 2 days. We left happy. Sadly, we called the follow up number and were told our unit would not be delivered until 9 days later! UGH! Not sure if Alex just wanted the sale or made an honest mistake. read more

Have worked on projects with Ferguson recently and in the past. With each one, the staff has been amazing. Kristin Crook was our most recent representative and her professionalism and attention to details was so impressive! We have enjoyed working with her. I would gladly recommend Ferguson to others, read more

Mary Demarco explained everything patently and took time to communicate through email showing options for what I needed for my sink.

Ferguson's will not disappoint! I have wandered and shopped Fergusons numerous times, and their tasteful displays, and knowledgeable staff is what keeps bringing me back. Not to mention, they have such an amazing variety of just about everything to do with kitchens, bathrooms, or lighting throughout the home. I would highly encourage anyone interested in shopping Fergusons to make an appointment which can be done through the Yelp app, or by calling directly. They absolutely welcome walk in's, if you're just looking to browse. They absolutely won't approach you if you are browsing. Their staff is usually booked with appointments, but the people at the front desk are happy to answer basic questions. I love the idea of an appointment, because it's this level of customer service that we all desire. When you're meeting with one of their specialist, they are completely focused on your needs, and will spend the time helping you select items, checking on delivery times, and making you feel special in their own way. If you decide that you just want to stop in to wander through the store, their displays are tastefully put together, and it's easy to wander from one area to the other taking in the beautiful bathtubs, the gorgeous lighting, and a variety of different kitchen appliances. The beautiful marble bathtub by the front door is truly an art piece. If you're planning on a new build, a remodel, or you're just trying to update different items in your home, definitely stop by and check out Ferguson's! read more

We're doing a major kitchen and laundry remodel and went to look at the KOHLER Farmhouse sink for kitchen and laundry, faucet and etc. Jennifer Matawaran was the sales representative that helped us at the store when it was time to purchase all the items. We purchased all the items and did not realize that once they came in at the warehouse we had to pick them asap! We left on vacation after ordering everything. I got an email from Hope Pendergrass that said she will be taking over the sales from Jennifer. I received an email that everything came in at the warehouse and if we don't pick up everything in 2days they will be returned. I frantically called Hope and told her we're on vacation. She said no worries, enjoy our vacation. I didn't think anything of it because construction was still being done and the contractor didn't need the sinks, etc yet. Fast forward, two months later, we called Hope and said we're picking up our sinks, etc. She got back to us and said everything got returned!!!! YIKES, They all had to be reordered! Thankfully Hope got everything reordered and we got the minor items within a couple days and again the email said if we don't pick it up in 2 days they will be returned!. The sink was not available YET! I called and spoke to Hope to please ask them not to return them until the sink came in!!! Whew, 4 days later, Hope contacted us that the sink came in! Kudos to Hope Pendergrass! She's the BEST! Great personality at least over the phone! I'm going to miss talking to her! Even though she was in Virginia it felt like she was right here in Sacramento! High Five to Hope! read more

HORRIBLE QUALITY and SERVICE. After many years of shopping at Ferguson in Sacramento we are having a terrible experience! Purchased a new refrigerator and dishwasher, both of which were not fully functioning from day 1! Multiple callbacks were promised and didn't happen, was told by the salesman they were doing me a favor by calling service on the ice-maker and water dispenser that never worked (vs me having to do so). Service came out, said it needed a new part (in our brand new refrigerator?!?) and haven't heard back since. Then talked to a manager 13 days ago who agreed to take back the dishwasher that doesn't dry and promised that a salesman would call me to work out a replacement, which never happened. Also that she would have someone call with an update on the refrigerator part....never happened! This week will be one MONTH since appliances were delivered. Come get them. Not the quality or service we have come to expect. read more
