I had a fantastic experience with Valley Design & Construction. Great communication. Great follow through on every detail. As a woman, I appreciated the fact that he communicated directly to me when I asked questions. I did have a fairly well thought out plan of what I wanted, so that streamlined the process. He offered suggestions when asked, but executed the plans I gave him and made it look even better than I imagined. I was astonished that they finished the project so quickly. (Exactly one month from demolition to final inspection - and that included several change orders.). I've recommended them to all my friends. read more

Vadim and his team was phenomenal to work with! We interviewed several contractors before selecting Vadim to completely my kitchen remodel. Every other contractor told me that my vision was impossible. Vadim not only made the vision a reality, but he made me feel listened to while providing his expert opinion where helpful. The remodel was a complete overhaul, with walls and windows being moved. Vadim graciously handled a couple of curveballs we threw him mid renovation - including new floors and a new hvac - while staying on track with the timeline. My kitchen is beautiful and the process of getting there was enjoyable. His team was incredibly proud of the work that they accomplished. I would trust Vadim 100 percent with any future project. read more

We bought an older house with the plan to renovate it in multiple phases. We hired Vadim and his crew for the first interior reno, including a completely new kitchen, and since then, Vadim and his crew have helped us renovate a bathroom, replace flooring throughout the entire house, create a modern wooden staircase, modernize the house's exterior, and rebuild our upstairs deck, entryway, and porch. When we were overwhelmed with options or did not have time to search for ideas, Vadim helped us narrow down and make decisions. Working with him and his crew was easy. We 100% recommend Vadim for his ability to listen and communicate very well, and his crew for their professionalism and work ethic. read more

It was my first time doing a remodel project so I was a little nervous about choosing a contractor. After meeting with 4 contractors I decided to go with Vidam's company & I am so glad I did. Not only did he provide the best valued quote, he didn't try to up sell me like some other contractors did. I felt safe and trusted him. His team redid my whole master bathroom, added a small walk in closet and switched out the vanity and flooring of the guest bathroom. The house I purchased was built for wheelchair accessibility so there were gaps under the sink and both bathrooms had very ugly 2000's yellow wood cabinetry. He made some good design suggestions when I couldn't make a decision, stayed within budget and his team always cleaned up really well after each day. The project took about 3-4 weeks. I am very happy with the outcome! Oh also, I was living in San Francisco while the work was getting done and Vidam just texted me updates as things were completed. Great communication and ease for me! read more

Our very first project in our home and I am grateful that out of all the contractors, we went with Valley Design & Construction for our kitchen island remodel. From the start of the phone call to get a quote, to Vadim coming to our home to measure and discuss our needs/wants for the project, to Vadim sending us the quote, Vadim answering our many questions and clarified for us to get the comfort that there is no misunderstanding, Vadim communicating the timeline, to the workers coming to work on the project up to the very end- I would rate all of these process as 5 stars. Vadim is honest, straight to the point and very transparent....I like that, there is no hidden agenda, very easy to work with. We already recommended this contractor to our neighbor for their home projects as well as our friends/relatives. We just need to save up for our next project which is our bathroom remodel and Valley Design will be coming back to our home. Thank you Vadim and your crew for a great experience!!! Till the next project! read more

Vadim and his team were great to work with. He was easy to get a hold of for a site visit and a quote. We had a big renovation project converting our 3/3 home into a 4/2 and redoing a bathroom. Vadim had helpful ideas and suggestions as we planned the remodel. His men were timely and had great attention to detail. He made sure we stayed within our budget. Lastly, despite the delay on delivery times due to COVID, I appreciated that he came back to install items and do all the finishing touches with no extra charges. We would definitely work with him again on our next home project. read more

If I could give him 0 stars I would!! Vadim scheduled us an appointment for consultation. Never showed up or gave us a call. finally got a hold of him 2 hours later and he said he had inspections all day and can't make phone calls. We asked if we make an appointment for tomorrow will he guarantee he will be here since we have to take time off work and he said well i dont know maybe my inspections come first. When we said what kind of customer service this is or what kind of business he runs like this he said its not his fault and basically said if we don't want to wait around for him then thats fine so we hung up and are not going with this contractor. Apparently they don't take business seriously or care about peoples time. read more

We hired Valley Design & Construction for several projects: a top-down bathroom renovation, new kitchen backsplash, renovation of a dual sided fireplace, custom fireplace built-ins/cabinets, and new hardwood floors. We met with several contractors before hiring Vadim and his team. From the outset, we felt that Vadim was trustworthy and competent. Unlike many contractors that we met with, Vadim took time to listen to our vision, and worked with us to bring our vision to reality. Vadim was never "pushy" with his ideas, only helpful in bringing solutions and creative ideas for our project. Throughout the project, Vadim was an excellent communicator and always pleasant and friendly. He and his team are also talented crasftsmen, and the quality of their work is outstanding. They are very detail oriented and take pride in their work, and it shows. To top it off, they completed our project on-time and within budget. It can be nerve-wracking trusting a contractor with a big home renovation, but we are SO happy that we trusted Valley Design with our renovation. We couldn't be happier and wouldn't hesitate to use Vadim and his team again for all of our future renovation needs. Thank you!! read more

Where to begin.. We interviewed a number of different contractors before deciding to work with Vadim and his team. We had a rather large project including gutting a kitchen, removing a large load-bearing wall, windows, electrical, plumbing, countertops, flooring etc.. Vadim was incredible to work with and provided great design insight throughout the project. The initial time frame given was 4-6 weeks and it was finished in exactly 5 weeks. The team showed up EVERY day at 8:00 and didn't finish until after 5:00. They cleaned up every day and were extremely respectful of our house. Each day Vadim would walk us through what had been done for the day and what the next steps were. The craftsmanship was second to none and we are extremely happy with how the kitchen turned out. The icing on the cake is that the quote that Vadim gave us was exactly how much we paid. That's right.. the job was done on time AND on budget. I can't recommend Vadim enough- we are already looking forward to our next project, which we will surely use Valley Design Construction for. read more
