It was my first time doing a remodel project so I was a little nervous about choosing a contractor. After meeting with 4 contractors I decided to go with Vidam's company & I am so glad I did. Not only did he provide the best valued quote, he didn't try to up sell me like some other contractors did. I felt safe and trusted him. His team redid my whole master bathroom, added a small walk in closet and switched out the vanity and flooring of the guest bathroom. The house I purchased was built for wheelchair accessibility so there were gaps under the sink and both bathrooms had very ugly 2000's yellow wood cabinetry. He made some good design suggestions when I couldn't make a decision, stayed within budget and his team always cleaned up really well after each day. The project took about 3-4 weeks. I am very happy with the outcome! Oh also, I was living in San Francisco while the work was getting done and Vidam just texted me updates as things were completed. Vadim remodel two residences for me and my extended family now uses him for their projects. His work is quality and he can do everything from repairing roofs, to complete remodels, one that involved relocating an electrical panel. If I could give him 0 stars I would!! Vadim scheduled us an appointment for consultation. Never showed up or gave us a call. finally got a hold of him 2 hours later and he said he had inspections all day and can't make phone calls. We asked if we make an appointment for tomorrow will he guarantee he will be here since we have to take time off work and he said well i dont know maybe my inspections come first. When we said what kind of customer service this is or what kind of business he runs like this he said its not his fault and basically said if we don't want to wait around for him then thats fine so we hung up and are not going with this contractor. Where to begin.. We interviewed a number of different contractors before deciding to work with Vadim and his team. We had a rather large project including gutting a kitchen, removing a large load-bearing wall, windows, electrical, plumbing, countertops, flooring etc.. Vadim was incredible to work with and provided great design insight throughout the project. The initial time frame given was 4-6 weeks and it was finished in exactly 5 weeks. The team showed up EVERY day at 8:00 and didn't finish until after 5:00. They cleaned up every day and were extremely respectful of our house. Each day Vadim would walk us through what had been done for the day and what the next steps were. The craftsmanship was second to none and we are extremely happy with how the kitchen turned out. The icing on the cake is that the quote that Vadim gave us was exactly how much we paid. That's right.. the job was done on time AND on budget.
