The work started a week later and was completed after a few days. The final result is incredible! Raul came out, gave us a quote, and we wanted to move forward. We met with Raul to pick out tiles, all seemed great. He was very friendly, and told us he would be going on vacation but could start after. He told us it would be 2 weeks to complete the job. I even confirmed again later in text because I needed it done by a certain date for a party we are hosting and need a bathroom for, and he assured me again only 2 weeks. The company reached out and ended up giving me a start date while Raul was still on vacation, but we were fine with that. The communication of who was coming each day and what their scope was each day was good. They texted each night. That was where their strong communication pretty much ended. I was told by Raul someone would reach out to talk about the toilet and sink options. They reached out asking me if I had picked out what I wanted yet, and I wasn't aware I was supposed to be sending them links, so I quickly did some research and started sending links of what I wanted. By the time the second week ended, all that was done was the tile floor and the tile in the shower and shelf. No toilet, no sink, no medicine cabinet, no storage, no wall lights. We confirmed the next week and they said it should be done by the end of that week, now making it 3 weeks. That information was not offered, I had to reach out and ask for a new finish date because we were now past the 2 week mark I was assured of. They continue to come out that 3rd week and got more work done. The toilet that they had picked up and been storing in our garage for nearly a week was apparently damaged and used, but by that 3rd week, they hadn't checked the box yet so they had to go return it. They didn't have that same model so they had to go and get another toilet at a different store. By Thursday night of the 3rd week, there wasn't much left to do, so we assumed they would finish when we were at work on Friday. I didn't hear anything from them the night before and then when we got home from work that Friday, they had never come back to finish. So I texted again, because now we're moving into the 4th week, and I was told that all they thought they had left to do was the shower curtain rod. They had not put the fan cover on, they left a hole in the wall near the sink, the smart toilet was not hooked up, one of the electrical plugs for the toilet was still a hole and was not done, they had not put the wall lights up, AND they had not done the shower curtain rod. The fact that the company themselves didn't even know that they had that much work left means that they aren't even communicating with one another. Also, if they did think that all they had left to do was just a simple shower curtain rod, why wouldn't they have just come out that day and finished the last bit of work. I texted and sent pictures, and Raul tells me that he's sending out two guys (it is now about 3:30 on Friday) and that they would be there in 20-30 minutes. A little over an hour later, they finally show up, and they were here for probably about an hour or so and did get the job done, finally giving us our bathroom back. They did not pick up any of the cardboard they had taped all over our floor so I did that myself, they left nails and wall shavings on the ground so I vacuumed and swept that up, they left all of the tape up around the edge of the shower so my husband pulled that off himself, the bottom of the tub was covered in dirt and foot prints where they had walked on it in boots and never rinsed it out, and there was scuff marks on the new tile (I assume from moving the toilet into place?). They also plastered over some of the tape around the edge of the shower and left it, so when we went to try and remove the tape it is plastered to the wall and can't come off without us pulling off small pieces of the new plaster, so you can just see some blue tape sticking out. By this time, I was just so frustrated, and I just wanted it done and didn't say anything about them not cleaning up behind themselves and leaving it for us to do. We did get a smart toilet installed and a couple days later, I start looking it up because we're trying to figure out how to control the toilet, and I see that it's supposed to have a remote. So now we don't have a remote to control the settings on our smart toilet, after everything else. I texted asking if they put the remote somewhere because now we can't control all the settings on the toilet, which means we have to get a replacement from the manufacturer. I'm not sure if they took it with them or threw it away? I have not heard a response from them yet, but I have now reached out to the manufacturer myself because I need the remote. Not sure what that is going to cost me! Overall, the experience with this company was extremely disappointing.
