After the laser/digital templating, based on the invoiced stated slab size we were about 2" short, so I bought another slab. Jeremy and his team did a great job fabricating and installing (in early March as scheduled)...especially considering pre-fab slab irregularities, the uneven (not level) counters and walls that were not straight. I was impressed how Jeremy mentored his team members to get a quality result. It turns out that the slabs which were 108" on the invoice were actually 110" (per little sticker on them) to they never had to use the extra slab purchased earlier. Aside from the extra 2", the unused slab also resulted from careful fabricaton and minimization of waste.

I really wanted to to hire CA Tile & Granite to install Cambria Quartz as my new kitchen counter…read more "Pavel" (came to my home to measure) and "Rosemary" (helped me choose color in office) were very attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. The price was within my budget, but was still weighing 3 bids. When I delved down the details - per the Cambria Warranty, the material needs to be installed by a "Cambria approved installer" and CA Tile & Granite is NOT listed on the Cambria website (CambriaUSA.com) as an approved installer. To clarify the matter, I called Rosemary and she told me it was because they are a fabricator, but I was puzzled because they were to install the counter too. I felt she was defensive and told me to email her Cambria Representative "Carol", which I did. I was surprised to not hear a response from Carol after 5 days and it would of been nice to hear a follow up from Rosemary too. On Day 6 Rosemary contacted with a phone number for Carol. I was disappointed CA Tile & Granite could not answer my questions from the start and makes me feel hesitant to work with them in the future, in case there was a problem.
