We chose all licensed and bonded installers as we figured they would provide a higher quality of work. In only five months, a few of the 24" x 24" porcelain tiles, which had been installed on the floors of our kitchen, laundryroom, diningroom and entryway, began to come loose and one of them cracked. The installer came out and replaced the cracked tiles to our satisfaction, however over the next year, nine more tiles became loose After trying to work it out with the licensed installer, we were forced to have an independent inspection performed to see how wide spread the problem was. After having five different Tile contractors out, we were appalled that only one out of the five would we hire. Sam, from Brothers IC met with us and took the time to inspect the previous install. He was professional, very knowledgeable and although his bid was the highest, he was the only one we felt confident with. Sam and his three man crew did a great job and paid attention to every detail. We highly recommend this company!! Thanks Sam!

We had experienced a water leak that caused significant water damage to a few rooms. After the…read moremitigation company was done with their work, we needed a contractor that would be able to fix the damage and not cost us an arm and a leg. I looked over a few contractors on Yelp and had them come out to give us bids for the work and after evaluating the bids, we decided to go with Solid Construction and Design. They were really competitive on their pricing and being a family owned company, assured me they will take care of my house like their own. Let me start of by saying, their customer service is top tier. Scheduling an estimator to come out was simple and all it took was a phone call to their office and they showed up the same day. The estimator was empathetic to our situation and assured us the work will be complete swiftly and with minimal interference to our daily life. We had ALOT of questions and they made sure that all of our questions were answered and provided guidance and feedback on all of our requests. We agreed on a schedule and had a crew come out in a few days. They were punctual and professional. While they were working at the house, we went to the company showroom to choose flooring and other materials needed for the rebuild. The showroom is spacious, has a lot of different options for flooring, tile and cabinets. What they don't have in the showroom, they were able to show online in a catalog. Great selection for every design taste. They also have designers in house who will guide you and show you so many different options for your project. The work was complete on time and on budget. The attention to detail and guidance through this project made us feel at ease knowing they care and this is not just another project but rather they were putting pieces to the puzzle to make the house whole again. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with the quality of work, the thoroughness and attention to detail. The project manager was always only a phone call away and checked up on the status with the crew as well as us through the whole project. If you have a construction project on your mind, do not hesitate the give Solid Construction & Design a call, you will not be disappointed.

Some of the well-known companies I contacted quoted around $6,000 more than Artur's company. Artur offered the most reasonable price without compromising on the quality of the work. He also charged very little for moving furniture and was able to reuse our existing baseboards after repainting them, which saved us even more money. I was also impressed that Artur provided a detailed estimate shortly after our in-person meeting. The estimate clearly broke down all the costs, so there were no surprises. Artur also introduced me to a flooring warehouse in Sacramento. The staff there was very kind and even allowed me to take several LVP samples home so I could see which ones matched our house best. Another thing I appreciated is that Artur's company has its own employees, so I didn't have to worry about subcontractors. They completed the entire job on time, and I'm very happy with the result.
