John was great he explained everything throughly and the work is immaculate. He got the whole project done in 1 day. Definitely will work with him again.

Our kitchen island. Previously it was an old butcher block on top; Premier Granite cut and installed the quartz from just the measurements.

One Friday afternoon, desperate to find a granite top for a kitchen island in our new home, I call up John at Premier Granite and asked if he had the materials we were looking for. Not only did he, but he invited me to stop by his shop, where he was currently working, to show me a few samples. I arrived to find him hard at work, though he put everything down and kindly spent time with me to discuss stone types and options. I got covered in quartz dust, but happily so! We found a stone that would be perfect, and after discussing different pricing options, decided on a solution. What really struck me though was his ability to cut and install in less than five days time -- which meant I could actually get it done before moving into the new house! I wasn't expecting that at all, and felt that John really went above and beyond to help me out. But it wasn't a rush job by any means: the stone is absolutely beautiful and his work installing it was meticulous and without any flaw. My wife and I are very happy with the new island, and personally I am even more impressed by John's level of professionalism, care and responsiveness. Without a doubt I will be recommending friends in the future to check out Premier Granite, and will be calling him back when it comes time to replace our other counter-tops. There are lots of similar shops in the area, and many people can get the job done. But real craftsmanship is not easy to come by, and it was just my luck I was able to meet someone like John through Yelp. This is how jobs used to get done, and I'm very happy to see that spirit is still very much alive at Premier Granite.

John is fantastic! Aside from being prompt and on time he is friendly and does a great job. We were a bit overwhelmed when picking our quartz, we knew we wanted white but that was about it. John was able to help us narrow down and find what we were really drawn too. We absolutely LOVE what we decided on. His work is beautiful, they way he matched up the veining in the areas we had to have a seem is amazing. The seems are nearly invisible!

We recently remodeled our kitchen and John installed our quartz countertops. He responded quickly to my message and I was able to schedule a time for him to come over and give me an estimate. His estimate was very reasonable and he let me know exactly what I needed to buy and the sizes. Before John starts the job you go over to 101 Building Supply and choose the material you want for your counters. We went with a more expensive material for the island and a more cost effective quartz for the counters, to help us stay within our budget. John did the demo of our old tile counters included in his bid) and then picked up the new material. He does all the cutting at his shop and returns a couple days later to install the counters. I am very happy with the end result and love how my new counters look. I will definitely be giving John a call when it is time to remodel our bathrooms.

He was by far the most responsive - quick to answer calls, prompt with follow-ups, and genuinely easy to communicate with throughout the whole process. His quote was the most competitive I received. He was flexible and willing to accommodate my specific installation needs. Unfortunately, due to circumstances on my end completely unrelated to Cesar or his work, I was unable to move forward with him for this particular project - and I genuinely regret that. He was professional, personable, and gave me every reason to trust him and his work. I like this Costco, because it's quite often not as busy as other warehouses in the area…read more It has your usual Costco "stuff". Groceries on one side, everything else on the other side. They have premade foods, the meat is high-quality, and the bakery is awesome. They also have the optical shop and the hearing aid center. I've never had to have my hearing aids, serviced there, but they always have the batteries I need at very decent prices. Everyone I have dealt with at the store has been very friendly. Of course, you have the samples, the only problem with the samples is, they may lead to an "impulse buy." but hey, that's why they are there, right? I have Gotten some great things before after sampling them first. It works....... There's also the whole rotisserie chicken for only $4.99. The rotisserie chicken, as well as the hotdog and soda, are what they call " loss leaders." they lose money on the item, but they use it to lure you to come in, and buy lots of other things. The gas station is very large, at 24 pumps. I usually don't have to wait more than a few minutes. Plus, the gas prices are great, and it is definitely very high-quality gasoline. The attendant there if you have any questions, or you forgot your card, is always very friendly and helpful. The food court is awesome. The ubiquitous buck 50 hotdog and soda, the pizza is great, and while it is definitely an acquired taste, I really like the chicken bake. Today, for the first time, I tried the chicken strips. Five humongous strips, for only $6.99. They were lightly breaded. I don't know what their "secret blend of herbs and spices" is, but the breading was delicious, and the chicken was moist and tender. They also came with a fantastic honey, mustard dipping sauce. I barely made it through half of the order, and I was stuffed. The rest came home for another meal. They reheated beautifully. I don't like the way they run the food court now, though... In the past, you just walked up, ordered, and paid at the window. Now, you have to walk up to a kiosk, scan your membership card, order whatever you are going to order, pay, and then the machine spits out a receipt to take to the window. When I was there today, it was after lunchtime, they still had some 10 people in line waiting to pick up food, and only one person working the window. The food is good, but it can be a little bit inconvenient to get said food. Other than that, I love this store. I will continue to come back.

Well actually I couldn't easily find a parking spot at the Folsom location. Folks were parking on the side streets. That's when I figured if the lot was this crowded, I dare not go inside. I trucked on over to Rancho Cordova. It was not nearly as crowded as Folsom. But the customer service was off in the strangely irritating way. It started with the man standing at the membership scan machine. I didn't pay attention to notice if the card was scanned, so I went to do it again. He ejected his hand inches from my face and shouted Good. No he didn't, but yes he did. Then the woman folding clothes came next to me to refold clothes. Like right next to me. Elbow to elbow. Odd. Then an another staff person came charging at me with a pallet cart. And stopped in a screeching halt less than a foot away from me. Ugh. The redeeming customer service came from the cashier. She salvaged my experience to bump up the overall rating to 3. Anyways this Costco has the similar items as others. It has a gas station, optical center, pharmacy, tire center, heating aid center,, and food court. The food court with seating is located outside, very OG original.

We chose all licensed and bonded installers as we figured they would provide a higher quality of work. In only five months, a few of the 24" x 24" porcelain tiles, which had been installed on the floors of our kitchen, laundryroom, diningroom and entryway, began to come loose and one of them cracked. The installer came out and replaced the cracked tiles to our satisfaction, however over the next year, nine more tiles became loose After trying to work it out with the licensed installer, we were forced to have an independent inspection performed to see how wide spread the problem was. After having five different Tile contractors out, we were appalled that only one out of the five would we hire. Sam, from Brothers IC met with us and took the time to inspect the previous install. He was professional, very knowledgeable and although his bid was the highest, he was the only one we felt confident with. Sam and his three man crew did a great job and paid attention to every detail. We highly recommend this company!! Thanks Sam!

Relying on…read morehis existing inventory, Vadim found a quartz with hints of lighter veins that perfectly enhanced with the existing porcelain tile design. He then fabricated a precision alignment of the quartz veins, so they flowed seamlessly at the corners - mimicking a high-end, single slab that could cover the existing built-in, tiled seat. WOW. Hey Vadim, can you also make our existing vanity marble sink look good again after years of no maintenance? He advised it would be more cost-effective to install a new Kohler porcelain sink. We found a semi-recessed vessel that would require cutting out the old existing off-the-rack boring quartz top. Again, we managed to get on Vadim's in-demand schedule for the rescue. Fortunately, his office assistant Karin found options within the existing inventory to help us keep costs down for this small project. And again, Vadim was able to engineer a custom top that simulates a 2.5-inch quartz slab with Kohler electronically specified cutouts. WOW. FYI, Vadim's a perfectionist, relying on computer generated measurements and a massive automated industrial cutting system that is beyond comprehension. FYI, we could not even lift the old marble vessel, but installation assistant Aiden carried it out like a bag of chips and the work site was left too clean. Maybe we should have Vadim replace our kitchen granite countertops that were poorly installed years ago by another contractor.
