Floor Store has finished another fantastic floor, the 4th one for us. Gustavo and Jorge did a wonderful job putting in the new carpet...it's beautiful!!! Sarkis is great to work with and always stays in touch!!! You can't go wrong using Floor Store! read more

We recently purchased a home in El Dorado Hills and had Pacifico Grande LVP and upgraded tile installed. I found Floor Store from Yelp and could not have been any happier with their customer service and installation. Our salesperson Frank was awesome! Having been a previous installer, he knows all the ins and outs of flooring. Frank was very knowledgeable in assisting us with the selection of our flooring products, knowing both the quality and also having a good eye in with works well together visually. He coordinated the installation team and oversaw their progress. Installer Peter (from Brothers Flooring) did an exceptional job. We are so pleased with our new flooring, and could not have picked a better flooring company for our project. Kudos to Frank and Peter and everyone else involved. I highly recommend them!! read more

Sarkis, the Wanders -- they're all a wonder! Sarkis helped me pick out the flooring to replace the damaged and otherwise gross-colored flooring throughout our new home with gorgeous laminate and carpet. The proposal was competitive and within our needed timeframe. They transformed the house. Great communication throughout the process, especially since the laminate happened before the carpet, and the carpet couldn't be installed until after the painters were done. (It's weird being in the middle of all that planning but everyone was super understanding and helpful.) It was worth every penny. I'd work with Sarkis and The Floor Store again in a heartbeat. read more

Update- The owner acknowledged an error and apologized. This is rare these days yet the result remains unchanged. They have the products we are interested in, measured a model house and provided a quote. We found another installer that called them for a quote for the wood and The Floor Store salesman told the installer "they can't make up their mind" and provided him The Floor Store quote for our installation; cost us money and ultimately we purchased the flooring elsewhere. They provided our personal information to the installer we found. The Floor Store salesman is either petty or is ignorant of law. read more

Very knowledgeable and friendly. Worked with our schedule to get the job completed with no issues. Very happy with the work.

The Floor Store came for the third installation in my home! They are a pleasure to work with and very professional. Sarkis was incredibly helpful in the entire process...even answering all my texts:) Viktor and Oleg installed the floor and they were great! The work is perfect, they finished in one day and completely cleaned up before leaving! Next week I will be having carpeting put in and I know I'll receive they same wonderful service!!! read more

Sarkis! Thats it, thats the review. He's amazing and save me so much headache. I came in looking for flooring. He took the time to really listen to what i was looking for and helped direct me to pick out the perfect flooring. A few weeks went by and i had a turn for the worst with my contractor and had to let him go. I was stuck in a rut and didn't know what to do. I ended up contacting Sarkis and he came to the rescue. He helped with my countertops back splash and even some good pointers. The guys he had come in completely delivered. Clean professional and knowledgeable. If you need to get the job done, I highly recommend working with Sarkis. I will definitely be back whenever I need any future work done. Thanks again Sarkis!!!! read more

Huge shoutout to Jonathan for absolutely saving us in a pinch. Our contractors brought flooring for a new room that was completely off from our existing flooring, and we were supposed to install the very next day. I called in the afternoon stressed out, sent photos over text, and Jonathan patiently worked with me to identify the exact match to our existing floors. By the very next morning, he had already confirmed the match, sourced it, and had everything ready for pickup that same morning. The turnaround time and customer service were honestly incredible. Thank God Jonathan was so patient, responsive, and knowledgeable. He truly went above and beyond to source the flooring ASAP and saved our project timeline. Highly recommend working with him if you need someone who actually cares and knows what they're doing! read more

I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Floor Store! I worked with Sarkis, who came out to look at my main bedroom (including all closets), living room, hallway, dining room, and various storage spaces. He was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, taking the time to explain the key differences between luxury vinyl and laminate. Being able to visit the store to actually touch the products and see the colors in person made a huge difference. I ultimately chose laminate, and the entire process--from selection to installation--was smooth and easy. Sarkis is truly awesome and genuinely cares about his clients. A huge thanks to Wander and his crew as well. They were fast, efficient, and professional. Even with the rain, they managed to get everything finished in just two days! My new floors have completely brightened up my home. I couldn't be happier with the result! read more

Sarkis was our salesperson and he was outstanding--professional, responsive, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. I could have not asked for a better experience! His sincerity and willingness to listen made the process easy and reassuring. I never got the pleasure to meet the owners, but I have to say from experience: You don't accidentally hire such capable help without providing them a great example. Thank you, Mark and Jodi! The installers, Sonny and David, were also exceptional--highly experienced, extremely detail-oriented, very clean, and a pleasure to have in our home. Their workmanship was top-notch. We highly recommend Sarkis, Sonny, David, and The Floor Store. They are by far the best that I have ever experienced! read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The communication from Sarkis throughout this entire process has been absolutely terrible -- so bad that my husband and I genuinely started to wonder if we were being scammed. To start, our flooring installation was scheduled for Memorial Day. However, when the contractors arrived at the warehouse to pick up materials, they were unable to because the warehouse was closed for the holiday. That alone should have been caught ahead of time. What made matters even worse was the complete lack of communication about what was actually being installed. We were told our "flooring" would be installed on Memorial Day, which to any reasonable customer means both laminate and carpet. We spent our entire holiday weekend moving furniture and clearing out the entire house in preparation for everything to be done. Only after I was awaiting the laminate installation on Memorial Day were we informed that the carpet installation had never been scheduled. Instead of taking full responsibility for the confusion, Sarkis blamed me and said I "should have asked more questions." Apparently, in their terminology, laminate counts as "flooring," while carpet is considered something separate -- and somehow I was just supposed to know that. That is not how clear communication works. As a customer, I feel completely betrayed and disrespected. Rather than genuinely apologizing and trying to fix the situation, the blame was shifted onto us. We are now stuck in an empty house, sleeping on the floor, with no clear plan for when the carpet will even be installed -- possibly not until next week. This has been one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with a company, and I would never recommend this store to anyone. read more

I've with the Floor Store twice now and they have been great each time. Frank helped us with a quick turn around with getting carpet ordered and installed. He communicated effectively throughout the entire process, keeping us up to date on our order and install service. Carlos was our Floor Store installer and he did a wonderful job and was so nice. I can't even see the seams! He even vacuumed and cleaned up after the install was completed. I will definitely be working with the Floor Store for any future flooring needs. read more

From the minute I walked in, I knew I was going to buy from Floor Store. They had a huge selection, and when Sarkis learned I was fixing up for a quick sale, he recommended some of the flooring that was on sale. No pressure! I found the perfect color, style and excellent quality for a great price. I signed the order and the floor was installed within a week. Beautiful job! They had even removed and reset the baseboards rather than leaving me to add caulking or quarter-round to fill the gap. I'm sure this has increased the chances of finding a buyer who will fall in love with this house. Great Quality, Great Price! Great Job! Thank you Sarkis and The Floor Store! I highly recommend you check them out. read more

I received quotes from 5 stores and went with Frank and the floor store. Frank was an installer and was insightful about the process. The floor store also had access to all of the material selections we saw at other stores. Their price was competitive and they didn't play games. Frank was always accessible (I had his cell), to the point, and timely. Frank's install crew (Marcos and team) was able to install carpets in 2 rooms, laminate in 2 rooms, laminate on the stairs and hallway all within 3 days. Work was quick but precise. See the pictures for how it came out. Thanks Frank, Marcos and team! read more

I highly recommend this company. The team is professional and efficient. My project was quite a challenge. They had to remove several layers of old linoleum which wasn't easy. I am thrilled with the final result. I am so happy with my choice of flooring! It looks stunning! They did a quality job that truly adds value to my home! I will be using them on my future projects! read more

Exceptional. From the planning, coordination with staff, to installation the Floor Store has delivered top quality service. The Floor Store first installed my hardwood floors and now they just completed installation of 2,000 sq ft of new carpet. It is beautiful. The team of installers were efficient, meticulously working on the floors and completed the job on time. They helped me insignificantly by moving furniture that was too large for me and my wife. The clean up of the work area left our home looking brand new. I strongly endorse the Floor Store if you are looking for a professional team with a competitive price compared to other areas stores. read more

An update 2 weeks later: The installer returned to replace the scratched boards in the kitchen, repair the trim, adjust the threshold transition, correctly set the appliances and clean things up. I appreciate the effort on these items, and have increased my rating by a star. The PM and I still disagree about the subfloor prep + expectations overall that were communicated to me during the shopping experience (by himself and the owner) and "it is what it is" as the saying goes. Overall I think my experience was likely an outlier, though an honest account of what happened. If I could start this process over knowing what I know now, I would still consider Floor Store as a service provider. read more

Today We had Freddy and his crew install new carpet our living room and replace flooring in kitchen. We were so impressed by them. They were very professional and did an amazing job! Frank and the Floor Store Team were amazing to work with. We came to them with the idea of replacing our carpet with flooring. They walked us through each step, gave us their insight about what flooring would work best for our home and family. They were quick to get the work started and stayed in good communication throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have flooring work completed. Thanks Frank!! 10/10 read more

I went to Flor Store with a product I originally got from Lowe's, but quickly realized it was cheaply made. I loved the color, so I brought it to Frank, who matched it perfectly with a much higher quality option at the same price point. The installation was scheduled the next week and completed in under two days. The installers were fast, efficient, and treated my home with care. I wouldn't hesitate to use this company again! Carpet was shot and it was clearly time to replace. Went to multiple stores with very mixed results. Sarkis was the only one who responded quickly and consistently. Initially was looking at carpet but with his help we were able to upgrade the whole house to engineered hardwood without going outside of our budget, we were beyond pleased. His team was professional and was able to install 1700 square feet on engineered hardwood in three days. Two weeks later we remain very pleased! For the attached pictures, the carpet is the "before" and the wood is the "after". read more

I had 4 different businesses come out to give me a quote on a flooring project. Sarkis was the only one who gave me a quote the same day and reassured me that the project would be complete before we moved in. Throughout the process Sarkis was extremely helpful when finding the perfect flooring sample for our home by going out to the property multiple times. He made sure the project was done and of high quality before we moved in. I am very grateful to have found Sarkis. He will be assisting me in future home projects. read more

We have used multiple flooring companies for commercial and residential homes. I've done business with the Floor Store for 23 years. I met Mark, the owner, at a social luncheon. I told Mark about the shabby installation job I had at our new home. He said he would send one of his installers over to take a look. The installer called Mark at the Floor Store and Mark told him to fix it. That's what sold me on the Floor Store. He just wants things done right. That's why I have had the Floor Store do our other houses over the past 23 years. The Floor Store has proved that anybody can make a sale, but it's the service that counts. They give great service. If you're thinking about flooring, give them a call. read more

I am not one to write reviews, but NEEDED to share our awesome experience. We were remodeling our house in Tahoe and we live in the Bay Area. We reached out to many different people and stores. We encountered either unreasonable quotes or unreliable people. Sarkis and his team were great. His pricing was reasonable, he was extremely responsive, and he worked with us on our tight time schedule, not to mention his team traveled up to Tahoe to complete the job. At the end of it all, the floors looked great. I highly recommend Sarkis and his team!!! read more

I worked with Frank to pick out an LVP that we liked and he came to the house to take measurements and determine the scope of the project. He provided a quote for me the next day. Their quote beat out the next company I got a quote from by about $4000 for a similarly priced product. We scheduled the install for after the painter and before household goods were scheduled for delivery. They had a small window and were able to accommodate my schedule. The install went smoothly with a crew who was polite, worked hard, and brought up any concerns for us to discuss along the way (we had a leaky valve). We navigated the concerns very easily and have a beautiful new floor. The crew installed new baseboards as well for a look that makes the house look like new! Thanks Floor Store! read more

Ray C at Floor Store is very knowledgeable and I enjoyed speaking with him about carpets. Also he was willing to work around my ongoing medical schedule for installation. In the end though I needed new painted baseboards and I went with a company that also has high Yelp ratings but is also a painting company who is going to install carpet, new painted baseboards, and will be freshening up with new paint In my living room and family room as part of an entire home remodel. read more

Beautiful floors, reasonable pricing, professional installation, on time. Thank you, Frank!

We bought laminate flooring from them last year and Ray was so incredibly helpful. The customer service here is really top-notch. We are now going to be doing our carpet install with Josh who was just as helpful, and even came after his workday to do measurements to accommodate our tight schedule.you just don't get this kind of service at Lowe's and Home Depot, the prices were comparable as well and they have a ton of selection. Wouldn't go anywhere else from my flooring. read more
