Both of them were very easy to work with and handled everything for me in an organized manner. ADU specs include a large kitchen featuring a variety of full size appliances, lots of storage in the cabinets, and an island in the kitchen that will provide a lot of additional counter space. Stacked washer/dryer is located near the kitchen for easy access by tenants. The bedroom is good sized with ample storage in the closet. The unit is very bright and open. The exterior of the unit is very modern and sophisticated in color. It's understated and does not look like it has been over-accessorized. This will be used as an investment property and I'm very happy with how the unit turned out. Anna, Olga and the rest of the A+ team were great to work with and I have no complaints at all.

It's not huge, but has plenty of room to move. The full kitchen is complete with plenty of cabinet space and room for all full-size appliances. The additional space for a washer and dryer was also a wonderful addition. One of the main items I wanted to complete with the new space was to bring in plenty of natural light. The numerous windows complete the simple yet very functional new space. My team consisted of Alana who handled permits, Anna who was my project manager, and Nick who was my construction manager. They were all great to work with, always returned my calls and emails and answered any of my questions along the way. There are a million decisions when you are building something from scratch. It was so appreciated that there was someone to explain things to me and make decisions with me along the way to help make it less stressful. He was very professional, prompt, friendly, organized, knowledgeable about products, scope of work, and gave us a very impressive timeline. After the contract was signed, the owner of Vostok, Alex, arrived with the demolition crew. The crew was very careful to cover the adjacent bedroom furniture and flooring. They also refused to take any of the cardboard when they were done. It took three more weeks to get the hardware which I had to install myself. Still took an additional three weeks to receive the trim wood also after the initial delivery, we had to pick up everything ourselves. Avoid at all costs.

First the good: Voss…read moreis the primary contact for the company. The bid was for installing tile in the guest bathtub surround. The bid was significantly lower than the competitors. It included tearing out the old tile and Sheetrock down to the studs, installing concrete backer, moisture barrier and new tile. There were a couple of unforeseen issues that came up that necessitated a couple of change orders. This is where some contractors take the opportunity to price gouge. I felt that Voss's change order prices were fair. The finished product came out great. Now for the bad: We got a quote for installing new slides on the drawers and soft close hinges on the doors in the bathroom cabinet. The drawers had to be narrowed to accommodate the slides. Then they had to be made shallower to fit over the slides. It was at that point that Voss discovered the drawers wouldn't fit due to the framing of the cabinet. The end result is that the drawers are unusable, don't work and the modifications are irrreversable. So we paid $650 for a cabinet that is unusable. We are now faced with more expense to make it right. That includes possibly having to replace the entire cabinet. I believe the cabinet project was outside of Voss's skillset. He should have anticipated some of the issues that would arise. I would rate the tile project 5 stars and the cabinet project 0 stars. I have included some photos of the cabinet.
