The KDC team is extraordinary! We did a complete kitchen remodel with Ann, Alice and Sandy. They were very helpful in the design process as well as the coordination of sub-contractors. The team is very knowledge and professional. My husband and I are quite meticulous and I'm certain we tested their patience! They spent a significant amount of time with us pre-order and even post-installation. Their response time (in-person, phone, email and even text) was excellent. The minimal warranty work we requested was immediately addressed by Ann. Their pricing is very fair, especially when you note that the cabinets are American made. Lou Becker Lou Becker And Sons Construction I bought cabinets from Ann for condo I was redoing. The cabinets were for a kitchen and 3 bathrooms and linen cabinet. Selecting the cabinets was quick and easy and Ann made a comment saying "that was easy and when people give me a hard time I charge them more". After the cabinets were delivered we did our own installation instead of using Ann's installer. Ann sold us quarts countertops for the kitchen and bath vanities which would be installed by the Marble Palace. So I sign a contract with her and she wanted payment in full for labor and materials. I said no that's illegal so we agreed on 50% down which is still illegal. When it came time for them to do the install we had a sign contract to complete the job in one day on a Thursday and they didn't finish it. So instead coming back the next day they schedule it on Saturday which the Marble Palace is closed on the weekends and they couldn't do it the following week so Saturday was the only time to do it. I'm off on the weekends and was schedule to leave for the weekend, so I had to cancel my plans to let Ann's subcontractor in and watch them finish the job which took 3 hours. Prior to this I sent Ann a email that I'm charging $150 per hour for me being there on Saturday and she wouldn't pay it and wanted balance of the contract that day and I said no. Days later after installation of the countertops I saw the countertop out of square and alignment where the range goes. So I had Marble Palace come out to fix it and they only adjusted it and it's and it's still out of square, alignment and a little out of level. I come to find out that Ann is not a contractor and she told me that she was licensed and doing this foe over 14 years. So i filed a complaint with the Contractors State License Board an according to the board a non license contractor can not sign contracts or do jobs for labor and materials over $500. The board can fine them and you can sue them for doing so. read more

If you want lack of service, lack of integrity and lack of knowledge, this is the place to go. If you want to be blamed for everything that will go wrong (and trust me, things will go wrong with these two) and if you want to be blamed for their mistakes when they order incorrectly, go to this place. These two ladies seem to be very inexperienced with the business world. They offer few services and expect you to do the legwork and all the project management (you will be responsible for calling subs and scheduling anything that needs to be done: glass installation, granite installation, etc. This is not part of the services they offer even though you will have these design items written into your project. They expect the buyer to do all the planning, followup work, and scheduling including the items they write up as part of the order; i.e., granite, glass, installer for any part of the project: you make the calls, scheduling, installation, followup, etc. They were unable to complete my simple 6-foot wetbar project within 4 months. Pieces damaged during installation took months to reorder, requiring many repeat phone calls and emails to remind them the items needed to be replaced. Order of a bar faucet and sink became a separate project of its own: we looked at a catalog with Sandy, agreed on the products we wanted and she ordered the wrong items anyway (at this point, we should have expected it) and then blamed us when the incorrect items came in. As I mentioned above, these two inexperienced ladies lack a business sense and take no ownership of problems that occur and you would be better off buying cabinets and your other products from Lowes or Home Depot to save yourself the grief of having to deal with the problems that will occur if you do business with them. read more

I went in looking for counter tops and ended up purchasing cabinets too! The cabinets were ready in less than 2 weeks and we were able to get our counter tops installed shortly after we finished putting in our cabinets. The worst customer service!! Placed an order for new kitchen cabinets and a year and a half later, still waiting for them to fix all the mistake their installer made! Ann and Sandy don't stand by their word! When we placed the order, they told us, if we used their installer they would guarantee everything. So we did everything as they recommended. First, they don't inspect the cabinets before they send it out to be installed. Second, their installer does such a poor job of installing the cabinets and door handle. 90% of cabinet doors came damaged and the installer made such poor judgements that I have to have a different contractor seal all the gaps and touch up all the damage they made to the cabinets they installed . They couldn't center the door handle correctly so we have extra holes! Ann and Sandy never return any phone calls and don't send you any receipt! Ann! Saw your response a YEAR after my post, and I think you are in serious denial!! Everything you mentioned is false!! I don't think this is a forum for arguments so I'm going to leave at that! read more

I was surprised to see the low reviews. I successfully worked with them several years ago on cabinets and countertops for a full gut kitchen remodel. They know their product lines well, and were able to creatively mix and match standard and full custom cabinets to create a great kitchen. When there was a small problem with a door measurement, they stood up and made it right. They worked well with my GC to get the products there, and we leveraged their installer to ensure a smooth installation. read more

Paid $150 for someone to come and help us design our kitchen. She took my drawings and computerized them. No new ideas. No new design recommendations. Called another company to give me a quote for cabinets and they had all kinds of drawings and suggestions, and it was free. They even helped us with flooring and countertops. Talked w another cabinet company that was helpful as well. And still FAR better than Kitchen Design Center. Dont waste your $150 design fee. All you'll get is a gift basket. read more

I highly recommend Kitchen Design Center. Ann helped me design my dream kitchen and was patient with me, as the design was a work in progress. In the end, I could not be happier with my kitchen. They are very competitive in their pricing and I also received discounts on my granite, sink and cabinet pulls. I also recommend Filco for the appliances. They were very competitive too and it was through them that I found Ann at the Kitchen Design Center. I'm a very happy customer! read more

The business is run by mom and daughter. They come across as real professionals and as if they know what they are doing. Everything is sub-contracted. We made a mistake of going with this company. They are really friendly at first but once you've signed on the dotted line and they got your money (WHICH IS IN THE BEGINNING) good luck. They will not answer your phone calls or return emails, very un-professional. Save your money and find another cabinet company. read more

I was remodeling my guest bathroom on my own, a contractor I know suggested I go to this place for my new vanity and cabinetry . I couldn't be happier and was very pleased with the results. Ann is very easy to work with and highly knowledgeable. Their pricing was better than other cabinet makers and dealers and better quality than that found in the big box stores. The entire process went very smoothly, and on time. Everything came out great, including the installation. I couldn't be more happy with the results. I would highly recommend them. read more
