Cool little stop with an abundance of housewares. Abundant quality and selection. Not at all adjacent to the likes of Target and Walmart. Plenty of staff available to assist with your purchase. Friendly faces are a welcomed change from the lesser than big box options.

It's been awhile since I last shopped here for in store purchase many years ago. So, my kitchen aid motor finally went out after 19yrs of great use and yes I did purchase my mixer at this location. I went online to make sure the item that I wanted was in stock at this location ok so 2 shown available for pick up. I walked in and was greeted and asked If needed any help from Gabriel, yes please trying to locate the new mixer I wanted. Come to find out the mixer was out of stock and Gabriel did everything he could to search in stock and out on the floor for the mixer. Well, NONE available and he was very kind to help me and order it online and set up for delivery. Everything worked out and customer service was on top excellent! Why the 4stars is cause they did not update the website for available pick up in 2hrs. Come to find out the 2 available was 1-used for instore cooking demo and 1-used for display that they will not sell. All in all it was great walking back in to my favorite store just can't browse too long or my basket will be really full. will return again soon THANK YOU!

Did an in-store pick up. Got there at 730'ish. They close at 8. Store was completely void of customers, I was the only one. Walked in with a black hoodie, jeans and Vans on. It was cold and had no need to dress up to look like i would "shop" at WS. Been here plenty of times so I went to the "line starts here" and saw an employee counting her cash drawer. Confused I asked if the store was still open and she said yes, and proceeded to count her drawer without asking if I needed assistance. Stood there for a bit, politely waiting for her to finish counting because I used to work in retail. Still, she didn't ask me if I needed assistance or anything of that sort. So I went to look around their cutting boards which I've been debating to purchase. I have a John Boos board in mind ( which retails at $233) but they didn't have what I wanted so I went back to the front. Stood in line again. This time there were about 4 employees at the registers. Only one acknowledged me while the others completely ignored me. One was ready to clock out, and was asking the other if she was ready as well. Sorry, y'all may work for WS but that's it. Don't be too snooty. I've worked in retail during this time of the year and have never ignored a customer when I'm almost off the clock. An employee came to assist me, she got me my item. We confirmed my order and I was on my way. The guy and those two girls at the end of closing shift tonight (11/30, the guy was heavier set, and one of the girls was a blonde carrying an LV DE neverfull (I know this bag because I have too) need better customer service. Not one of them bothered to ask if I had been helped or needed help. I could have been in and out of that store in 5 minutes! Or I could have spent more but given how I felt when I asked that employee the first time, I think I'll spend my money at Crate & Barrel next time. They had the same item. I just didn't want to wait for it, guess I should have.

The free cooking workshops are great and customer service was decent. Prices are really high and most stuff for sale is made in China.

If you want bad service the young man at the counter will blow you off and no service. Service like that makes you go online to order.

We had our kitchen remodeled using the contractors and staff at the Sacramento Kitchen Mart…read morefacility. It's hard to know where to begin because the experience with KM is so different from that experienced with typical contractors. Communication. Typically a major frustration with contractors was in fact excellent with KM. Emails and calls were returned in a timely manner and they go to great lengths to explain the process and provide a detailed timeline. Duration of work. We had gotten estimates of 4-6 months to complete our remodel; KM was finished in a little over a month. They stuck to their schedule (despite problems that arose with suppliers) and always communicated any changes that were required. They handled all of the permitting requirements, and in Davis that is not a small task. Notable is that a KM staffer came to the house the day of final inspection and looked at the whole house for potential problems. He replaced ALL of our smoke detectors at no cost just to make sure there were no problems with the inspection. The Davis inspector was very impressed with the work and passed the job without any concerns. Quality of work. We had superb craftsmen work on our project; John and Zachary and Joe were all just excellent. They took pride in their work, showed up on time, and always communicated what they were doing. They took great pains to minimize dust and overall mess. Huge sheets of plastic were placed floor to ceiling to localize the dust and debris. Sheets of protective material were placed on the floor. Everything was done in a professional manner. The supervisor of our project, Edgar, was remarkable in watching over the project and being there whenever needed. Sourcing of materials. KM can provide pretty much everything you need with regards to cabinets, fixtures and some appliances. The quality of all materials from KM was excellent and so much more convenient than searching it out on your own. I have to add, however, that their recommended appliance source, A-1 appliance, was very disappointing. A-1 failed to order our rangetop despite it being paid for well in advance, and their installers were incompetent and rude. Our project foreman, Edgar, intervened and was a lifesaver in getting a rangetop in time to prevent a major delay, and in fixing the poor installation provided by A-1. Cost. We had many estimates for our remodel and KM was far from the highest. Their estimate was very accurate and very reasonable considering the quality of work, convenience, and the speed with which the work was done. In summary, Kitchen Mart stands way way above the pack when it comes to the often tedious and stressful process of remodeling your home. They offer a one stop solution, do superb work at a reasonable price, and complete the work in a very timely fashion. We plan to have them do our bathrooms and in fact would not consider anyone else.

I had contacted a few contractors for quotes and felt that most were unclear about what would be done and what we were actually paying for. When I called Vitali he was able to come out the following morning, his quote was clear and reasonable, and he laid out of schedule of what would be done each day. He was able to give suggestions about what we might want consider (Ive never remodeled a bathroom before) which was very helpful and he was able to start very quickly. He was even accommodating and took my calls from the store where I was buying materials and helped guide my purchases. When the work started, he and his people arrived promptly every morning, were very courteous, and cleaned up at the end of every day. In order to stay on schedule, which they finished the job in 8 days, he even stayed late, with permission, working until after 8:00 multiple times. He checked in with me regularly as the work was going on, not just about the major things but even the little things that I would have really considered. For example, I'm tall and he made a point to make sure that the shower heads were a bit higher than normal. He made the niches larger to accommodate the height of the shampoo bottles. Little things like that really go a long way. And he also took care of some bigger issues. We did not realize that apparently our prior toilet was installed very poorly and was leaking under the floor. I know this created a lot of extra work but he simply handled it without a fuss. I cannot recommend VL Tile enough! For me, one of the worst parts of trying to get stuff done on my house was finding a trustworthy and reliable person to work with and I'm so glad that someone recommended Vitali to us. I will absolutely be calling again soon for our next project. Thank you, Vitali!
