Shoutout to Roseville. Sur La Table in the Fountains shopping plaza. The Hubs was obsessed with finding a garlic keeper. He likes to cook with fresh garlic. He read an article about one a few months ago and been on the lookout for one since. Not just any ole one. But one that is white colored, having a aplain exterior, and simply designed. He saw one online at Sur La Table. So we trucked out there on a recent weekend. Sur La Table sells kitchenware that includes cutlery, cookware, cooking utensils, bakeware, food products, glassware, table clothes and linens, and small electronics. They carry well known brands such as Staub, Le Creuset, Breville, Wusthof, Shun just to name a few. And the bonus is that they offer cooking classes for a fee. On my recent visit, the staff were so darn sincere and helpful. Not intrusive. The shop is not particularly large. But as I meandered about, I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance multiples times but once by each staff member. That's customer service! So much inventory to look at. I luv kitchen shops. Anyways back to that quest for a garlic keeper. What in the heck is a garlic keeper? It's a container, with air flow, that extends the shelf life of garlic. The staff helped him locate it. They had it in stock on the shelf. It was $20. We are now proud owners of a Sur La Table garlic keeper. Cooking with fresher garlic now. read more

We stopped in to look at an Ice Cream maker. We were greeted right and the staff helped us find the brand we were looking for. They had the best price in the area and many other stores didn't have them in stock. They also suggested some of the ice cream mixes to use. We were also looking for some cocktail glasses and they had the perfect size that we wanted. Prices were reasonable. Staff were very friendly and let us know about some other sales and specials coming up. We used their ice cream base and it worked out perfectly. The mint chocolate chip was perfect and the consistency was what we were looking for. Will have to buy some of the other flavors. read more

Bought some things online and made the trek out here to pick them up. The store staff is fairly helpful and considerate. The prices are on the higher side. The quality is definite step up from other options. You won't find Target and Walmart prices here. The selection of fine options for the home kitchen is largely incomparable. We enjoy making purchases here every now and then. The recent purchases were driven by the reports on plenty of kitchen gadgets and utensils having materials of health concerns. read more

They have the things I want in my kitchen. Long time customer. Their online business works well too. I've gotten great sales and value there and improved my knife stock because of it. Today they were out of stock for a particular skillet I needed to replace. They ordered it in store for free delivery to my home. I got the skillet quickly. Since I had had one I threw the box away immediately. The next week when I went to use it my induction stove wouldn't recognize it!! The wrong skillet was ordered AND I didn't have the box. I called and they were so nice about the "no box" situation. Had the skillet I needed in stock this time and gave me a quick exchange. read more

Three days after making this review, they emailed me saying that I need to call them AGAIN to process my refund. Why????? Why can they not just process the refund like any store, ever?! Terrible experience with this store. Having to reach out to customer service four times for one simple refund in 2025 is ridiculous. read more

This store, of course is nice. Everything you want is here as long as you have the funds for it. Check out the pumpkin pie latte syrup that is ready for your taste buds. I wanted to do this right away before I forgot- we've gotten our knives/ pots and pans/ espresso machine through here and quality of everything is obviously great. Today, I went in store after having a stressful experience of dropping an item (from a different store) I came in to sur la table since they most likely had a similar product to what I just dropped. All four girls working (Lisa was one) were so helpful- from finding the item for me, quadruple wrapping it, and hyping me up the whole time. Great employees and people I'd want to be friends with! Roseville SLT is an Amazon supplier of Chef's Choice knife sharpeners. I ordered one but SLT sent me a Cuisinart mixer--half the price of the Chef's Choice sharpener. Amazon directed me to return it to SLT. Service was TERRIBLE! Jen couldn't read the Amazon return QR code and had to use MY iPHONE to call up the order to get a letter code. I was in the store for what seemed to be forever. As I left, Jen had to issue one final barb: " Have a nice day." It's no wonder that Sur La Table is in BANKRUPTCY..... Two days ago I bought 3 packaged and sealed food items from this store. I decided that I didn't need them and went to return them today. Much to my surprise they don't accept returns on food items. I told them I was never told that. They have a small sign at one end of the counter and it is on your receipt (which you wouldn't see until you purchase anyway) , but not located near the cashier where I checked out. Every other store tha has a final sale always tells you before swiping your card. I spoke to the manager who was quite rude and told me there was nothing that she could do about it. read more

I love this place so much! Everyone is so friendly and fun. Davina is such a knowledgeable manager and incredibly helpful. Nancy is a riot and so so sweet. Abby and Jen are great too! I'm in there all the time so much that they know my name lol They are unmatched with selection and knowledge. 8/5/2018: I have a extremely busy shopping day schedule I must complete and one schedule needing completion was visiting Sur La Table. I checked my kitchen accoutrement inventory beforehand and I discovered I was lacking knife guards for my Henkles and Wustoff knives sets-a dire, safety necessity, I needed more substantial cake and frying spatulas-the ones currently used were "mysteriously bent out of shape," I didn't have corn cob, holder plates, nor did I have stainless steel, steak knives. Well, to my utter delight, I found ALL the kitchen items I needed: Surely, checking Sur La Table off my "Honey-Do" List is phenomenally, totally awesome feat; usually, I find a couple items I needed at a store then, disappointingly required hunting for the remaining items needed at least, shopping at three to five more stores . . . BUT, not today, not in the future! I bought all the kitchen items at Sur La Table~YAY!!!!! read more

The last three times that we shopped at this store (Roseville) no one would help us. The clerks are either standing around doing nothing or jabbering with people who have no intention of buying anything. My last three purchases totaled over $1,000. No help, no nothing. Furthermore, when checking out, the clerk refuses to say "Thank You." Their typical response is "Did anyone help you?" and "Have a good one" or "Have a good day." This is the point. People working and or owning these stores take the customer for granted and in almost every case REFUSE to say "Thank You." Thank You is two syllables. "Have a good day" is four syllables and "Have a good one" is four syllables. So, actually it's less work, less effort and way more effective to say "Thank You." One can only conclude that the owner, and their employee's, INTENTIONALLY refuse to thank their customers. You aren't doing me a favor by selling me something. I'm helping to pay for the rent of your store, your franchise and the salary / benefits of your useless ungrateful employee's. In the future, I'll shop at Williams Sonoma order things online. At least the website response says "Thank you for your business." read more

I went in with my young baby and toddler today, and was greeted warmly by the staff immediately upon walking in. One particular staff member noticed I was having an especially hard time getting my toddler to cooperate and follow me in the store as she had her own ideas of where she wanted to go. She jumped in to help distract my child with all the cool kitchen gadgets, while also pointing me in the direction I needed to go towards the Dutch ovens...she also helped me match the price to what I saw online, and in the color I wanted! This particular staff member's name is Lisa, and I will never forget her kindness, empathy, and assistance of a struggling mama. She was truly exceptional and kind. This store is very convenient for me and I love all the gadgets and kitchen ware they stock. Even if I don't need anything, I love to browse. There are so many pretty things. I wish I could buy everything that want here. Some things are very pricey but it is also top quality. The staff is friendly and helpful. We come in often to see what is on special. We came in a couple of weeks ago and purchased a Breville Smart Oven. We needed a new toaster oven. I've had mine for at least 40 years! We love using a toaster over to cook and heat small items. Why use your regular size oven just to heat or cook something small. We almost never use a microwave because I don't think it's healthy and also because it cools off so fast. The Smart Oven cost $399. We checked the internet to see if we could find it cheaper elsewhere. No! :( So I asked at the desk if there was any specials. There was a 10% off special sent to my email and 20% off some items. I asked if it included the oven. When the guy at the desk asked the store manager (over the phone) he said he would give us 20% off if we bought it today. Yay! It never hurts to ask!!! We love our Breville Smart Oven. It also dehydrates and air fries. We air fried some left over roasted chicken to heat it up and it was incredible!!! read more

Sur La Table has everything you expect and everything you didn't. Organized by theme- Baking, Pasta, BBQ, Ice Cream, Egg - yes, there's even a section dedicated to everything egg related. The list goes on. You will find gadgets you haven't even heard of and appliances you can't pronounce. When it comes to cookware and knives in particular, Sur La Table only carries the high end, high quality. I've known chefs to go here for their personal favorites. If you're really into coffee and can justify spending major dollars on a machine for your home, come spy the section dedicated to all things caffeine. It just may blow your mind. Personally, I have some cookware and gadgets that I have picked up over the years that have held up quite nicely. My bbq equipment from here always sparks envy. And my Nespresso frother? Genius. Sur La Table carries a mixture of high end more affordable kitchen and home accessories. Walking around the store , I would say about 50 percent of the store is devoted to more kitchen and table decorative items , and the rest is an array of kitchen gadgets, knives, and few small appliances . I spent the most time in the back of the store next to the cool little area with all their coffee machines powered up and ready to test . Awesome little coffee bar ! I whipped up an impressive cappuccino from a DeLonghi Nespresso machine that had pretty good taste considering that it came from an automated pre packaged pod! Everything was kept very clean and neat , and the employees were close by to answer any questions. I didn't buy the DeLonghi or a new Breville machine today ... but one day ! read more

What's not to like about a kitchen gadget store? Places like this are always a go to spot for me and my boyfriend to check out for all the latest things in gadgetry available. The store is cute, but a bit cramped. There is a lot to see, so you have to be patient and carefully look at every nook and cranny, so you won't miss anything that might be useful for the home. We found a number of interesting items that had us strongly wondering if we could live without. Prices are mostly reasonable, but some things seemed overpriced. Employees here were very nice and readily accessible if you need help. Ever since my mom bought me every type of kitchen gadget imaginable back in the 70's, I have continued that interest today. And it's nice to have a boyfriend who also shares this fascination with all things that are household and food preparation convenient. Personable stores like this have some unique items you won't find at most major chain stores. You might even find a gift for the person who has everything! read more

This is a chef's wet dream realized. It is the place where you constantly find yourself saying, "that's a product?" and then laughing at the absurdity of it then immediately realizing that you need (no...really need) it. I have been in the market for a new toaster oven for a while and have had my eye on the Breville Smart Oven that is the creme de la creme of convection ovens. After a hefty tax return, I dragged my husband out to the Galleria-adjacent and found myself in my happy place. We walked around the store and picked up a couple of items that I could probably live without but they make cooking and baking sooo much easier. We went to the register and the worker had to go to the back of the store to grab the oven. On her way back, three people noted what a great oven it is (I get it, you're rich...are we blending in?) and she noted that she had bought it for her mom for Christmas. The staff are so friendly and helpful- we had previously bought a garlic crusher from them but one of the parts had gotten lost and so we were trying to find another. She steered us to a different version of it and we grabbed that along with the oven, some new bamboo spoons, baking measuring spoons, and a funnel. The last of which was just sitting on the counter at the register and we realized, yeah, we need that one too. In all, I love going to Roseville just so we can visit Sur La Table and the Whole Foods that it shares its parking lot with! This is the store that sells everything you didn't know you needed until you stepped through it doors. In all seriousness, this is a must stop for any cooking fanatic. read more

This store just inspires you to cook ~ turning us into Julia Childs or Martha Stewarts, lol I heart this place :) They have a mix of upscale brand items from spatulas to cookware and pretty much everything in between. Many of the stores offer cooking classes that teach different techniques of cooking. If you can't find it here, it probably doesn't exist! read more

I don't buy many things here, and not just because it tends to be pricey. No, I don't buy every thing I like that I see here because I don't have space. I just don't have anywhere to put a thing that does nothing but steam potatoes. Like Alton Brown, I try to avoid the dreaded unitasker. However there are just somethings I have to have, and I keep a mental list of things I'd like to go back for and get when I've paid my bills and have some scratch left over. Today I went in to get a $20 item I'd had my eye on but then spotted an item I already have and love but wish I could find the larger version in a store so I don't have to pay shipping. Not seeing it anywhere I assumed not but when I asked I found that they did in fact have them in the back (a secret inventory?). It's normally $60 but I was given a discount, maybe because I'm awesome, I'm not sure. But it certainly made it hurt less to make an unscheduled purchase (I had to leave the $20 item I went in for behind though). read more

A very nice shop! Stopped in here with the wife while walking through the Fountains shopping area. The store had a lot of great cooking items. Everything for fine cuisine to BBQ. It's a little tight in the store with all the stuff but the flow works and the selection is great. Some of the items were on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. The store had many items on sale so there were options for not spending too much. They had free samples on a few items. Tried out a few different versions of coffee and some great lemonade. The service was outstanding. We picked up a Vitamix blender package deal that was on a great sale. The lady who helped us gave us the full details on the product and even made sure we got the color we wanted. Definitely worth a stop if you are looking for quality cooking items. read more

Can't recommend this business based upon the substandard staff. I recently purchased a set of scan pans at this location. Staff were unfriendly, did not engage well. I really like the set so I purchased it. The cookware is great. Today is Memorial Day. I didn't find what I was looking for but of course found other items I wanted to purchase. I walked around the store. I heard staff approach and ask every person in the store how are you? Are you finding what you need? Etc. I wondered if no one had noticed my presence. I walked up to the counter. Stood directly in front of this staff person. She actually looked at me for a few seconds before turning her back. I took this picture , left the items and walked out. I'll go online to find items from another vendor. I firmly believe staff behave in this manner because it's allowed. Hopefully that's not encouraged. I relocated from Southern California. I did not encounter these behaviors in the Sur LT location. No further purchases from me at the Roseville location. Williams Sonoma carries the same brands, and even more high quality products. WS is much larger with a larger selection and located just down the street. I don't recommend wasting your time in this location. read more

Located in The Fountains, this place has almost everything you need to create gourmet dishes and some things you never even thought of to help you to be an ultimate chef. They have sooo much crammed in this tiny store from super expensive to some excellent deals on clearance (in the back left corner of the store). Walked in just to browse and we ended up staying a long time because even boo who does not cook wanted to buy all kinds of products. They have some traditional tools as well as some super high-tech gadgets. This place has definitely become my favorite kitchen supply store ever. read more

Good thing I had just downed a double shot from Peete's before I came here or my senses might have been on sensory overload. What makes this store so fun is the small gadgets that seem to be hidden in every little nook and cranny and there certainly are a lot of nooks and crannies. It is like searching for hidden treasures, many that you never even knew existed but now that you have discovered these little treasures, you are sure you cannot live without them. I am a kitchen gadget junky, so much so that I probably need to go to kitchen gadget junky anonymous. You can only imagine how much I enjoyed my exploration. A Williams-Sonoma-esque store with a bunch of kitchen-related stuff! Their appliances are on the pricier end of the spectrum, so if you're looking for a $30 toaster oven, this isn't the place. But they've got everything from fun cheese plate tags, decorative cupcake holders, fancy wine glasses, and snow cone machines, to more serious culinary items like high quality knives, expensive cookware, and top-of-the-line kitchen appliances. It's the kind of store where you can pop in with no grocery list and find a bunch of things that you don't really need, but really want! Not a huge store, but they pack a lot in to the space they have. The priciness isn't just because of their quality products. We had just come from Ikea where we purchased a pitcher for $4.99. Sur had the same one for $11.50! I wouldn't expect them to compete with Ikea's prices, but that's quite a difference. We'll continue to get our everyday stuff, like soup ladles, non-stick pans, and ginsu knives from Target. But if we are hosting a party and want some fun stuff, need a special kitchen gadget, or are looking for a high end appliance like a juicer that leaves pulp as dry as a bone, we'll be back! read more
