I was in the area visiting family, when my mom and I stopped by Target. I'm never one to pass up a Target shopping adventure!!! Target is my happy place (just about tied for 1st place with being home..shhh!! Don't tell my bed I said that, he doesn't like to share!) I was amazed on how huge this location was once I got in the parking lot. It even has an optometry center (Never seen such a thing!). We didn't get to peruse the store as we were looking for a couple specific supplements in the pharmacy area. The employee at the pharmacy counter was really sweet and helpful..she came from behind the counter when we were struggling to find a supplement that doesn't appear to be in stock. Although we had no luck, we were able to find the other item we were looking for and the pharmacy gal allowed to pay at her counter. I didn't get her name, but, she was an absolute doll! Thank you for going above and beyond! :D I definitely will stop by this Target again when I'm in Rocklin again and in need of another Target run! :) read more

This is the giant Target in Rocklin, in the Commons center. It's easy to find right off the freeway! Nice shopping center too. We came looking for Christmas items figuring this one would have all the things. Well, they had almost none of the things! Most of the time I have a great experience here. I've been coming here for many years. The people who work here are mostly very nice and helpful. However, lately I've noticed a lack in cleanliness at this location. This has always been the cleanest Target I've visited, so the lack of cleanliness in the past few months has been extremely disappointing. The pictures of the fitting rooms seem to be the norm. It's every single room with tons of go-backs blocking the entrance, despite being here at 5pm and the signs say the fitting rooms are open 10am-7pm. Please give us our clean Target back :( read more

Clean and well stocked! BUT what I like best about this Target is the baby section! The set up at this location is by far the best with lots of products out on display. Looking at, feeling the products (we are picky on textures & fabrics), and being able to get hands on experience with the baby gear (strollers, bouncers, swings, highchairs, etc) before buying is a must which you can't do when buying online. read more

Order pickup is horrendous, bought a hose for $7. First off they charge a $1 bag fee. That's ridiculous. Secondly when you pick up your order there's a long wait, and when you receive your order, they don't even keep your order at order pickup, they have to go get it at the back of the store. Deceptive pricing. Beware! Can you imagine a store pricing an item for a particular price and not honoring it? Ridiculous. What if a bunch of people had taken this item to the register expecting the posted price? Of course when I bring this to their attention, three people come out to haul away all of the items while I wait to speak to a manager. Expect more, pay less is their slogan right? This is my back up target. I go to this location when I don't want to be bothered by a busier location. The employees at this location are very friendly. And I notice a better selection of items here. The tax is also lower at this location. I don't mind going in and taking my time. I don't feel rushed like other locations I have been to. read more

TREATS EMPLOYEES LIKE CRAP. NEVER COMING BACK. There was a manager I think her name was Kaylee or katie she looks like she's in her 30s she's white and had brunette hair that was wavy wearing a Christmas sweater and jeans. As I'm walking past produce I witness her actually clapping at an employee like she was correcting a dog. It was actually mind boggling. I don't understand how it's okay to clap at an employee and go "STOP" and "NO." I understand if you need to correct an employee but treating them like animals is unacceptable. I wish I could report her or something but I don't know how to go about doing that so I would like to at least let people know that they treat their employees like wild animals. I actually had previously asked that employee for help finding stuff and she was super sweet and helpful and she's the only reason that this place is even getting one star. read more

They get a single star because it's Christmas time and I feel generous. First, there are far too many people standing around for the store to be this much of a mess. Yes it's Christmas and people destroy the shelves...isn't that why every year you hire seasonal workers....? So why do so many of you just stand around chatting about how you don't like working with so and so? Maybe if we were working instead of chatting we wouldn't even notice so and so working the same shift, yea?? Better yet why not help one another...because clearly half of you are not properly trained. The young man ringing me out not only confused the older woman in front of me by handing things right back to her and then not knowing what he had scanned and not confused himself in the process and even better spoke to the woman as if she was the problem...hmmm okay. Then once he began scanning my items and I stated no bags, he handed me each item one at a time same as the woman causing me to have to stop from entering my number and grab my cash because he SHOVED the item in front of the key pad so I couldn't just keep typing and would just stand there holding it until I took it slowing us both down rather than setting it to the side where items SHOULD be placed after being scanned. Then, because he isn't paying any attention, I stand there for a minute before saying "excuse me I am paying with cash" before he looks over to see....because he didn't even ask how I was paying, just assumed and stared off into the distance. The cherry on top? He couldn't count back my change... 34 cents was not only handed to me in dimes and pennies but it was not counted back and it was like watching a computer glitch as he looked at all the change unsure how to count up 34 cents. Not quarter, nickel, 4 pennies... 3 dimes slowly counted then 4 pennies following just as slow. Before being dropped in my hand as he blindly stared off again. Had he even remotely been paying attention maybe more of the change would have made it to my hand but I'm 8 months pregnant and I'm not going to waste my energy on picking up pennies and dimes. Customer service SUCKS at this store for the most part. I slipped and fell in the back (approximately Aisle F51) near the Easter stuff around 3:20p today (3/8/25) due to shaving cream that was still needing cleaned up. One of the female managers literally was chatting with a group of people back there yet let me walk straight past then and slip. I hit my knee on the ground which now hurts ontop of my foot which caught me from hitting the ground and cracking my head open. She didn't even ask if I was okay, only another customer asked. I told that manager "I just slipped and fell" She said "Yeah we are aware of the situation, someone spilled shaving cream" I asked "Where are your wet floor signs? You literally have nothing out" She just stated " Yes, we are aware maam". The audacity of customer service nowadays is crazy. I let another male manager up front know (I think a team lead" and all he said was "I am so sorry and they are working their best to clean the area". Why is it not priority to IMMEDIATELY place wet floor signs or tape of the area! Ridiculous. This is a huge incident and I hope I don't have any injuries from this, otherwise more steps may be taken. I hope I am at least compensated for the pain and embarrassment this had caused me. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped in to get some Christmas shopping done and found everything we needed, gifts for my daughter, the kids I nanny, a birthday card for my daughter's grandma, candy for her grandpa and gift cards(not all pictured since gifts)! I would highly recommend this location, the staff were sweet and we're looking forward to giving the gifts to our friends and family this Christmas! This Target location is notably larger than the one on Douglas. The place is well kept and organized, the staff friendly and accommodating , and there is ample parking space. There is also a Starbuck's in the store with a few tables if you wish to have some coffee and snacks. Cashiers are always friendly, helpful and with a smile on their faces. 4 Stars read more

For the most part, I always find what I'm looking for, and even if I don't , I find something I wasn't necessarily looking for (Target for you!). Target has gone the way of Kmart and Walmart. Just another trash big box store with poor customer service and predatory practices. They are withholding the self checkout to force frequent shoppers into their new paid membership plan, their items are rarely on sale as advertised, and they treat their customers like garbage, doing everything in their power to make their in-store experience as frustrating and miserable as possible. Their stores are ghost towns when you need assistance from employees, and when you do actually try to buy something, they show it in stock only to tell you it's actually sold out. Then, when you offer to buy the floor model, they tell you they cannot due to some inexplicable store policy. So basically, screw you the customer, because policy policy policy. Just another symptom of a failing economy/society and greed-driven corporations. Target can take their greedy, anti-customer policies and shove it. read more

In love with this Target. I have two closer but I drive the extra ten minutes just to come to this location. Always squeaky clean and well organized. It makes me so happy and relaxed to shop at a Target that isn't disheveled and filthy. Seriously, a wave of calm hits me when I enter. Also very well stocked. The Target near my house is always out of half the items on my list. Food counter is also open at this location with a fully stocked Starbucks too. First I started wondering off to the new self check outs that were not working yet because this location is being remodeled, and he kindly told me so. Next I told Tony that I couldn't see a barcode on my gift bag. Over the last year, I've been collecting Transformers. This Target is about a mile from my house, so I definitely frequent this location. The customer service is hit and miss, but tonight it was a big hit. Tonight I was helped by a young man named Kyle. He went above and beyond to help me find the item I was looking for. He brought a pallet out from the back and opened some boxes to see if what I was looking for was delivered. He then took the extra step to punch the item's code into the scanner. Target is awesome and the curbside pick up is even more awesome. Even before this whole lock down, don't go out for anything but essential business , I'd been using the target pick up option. It's extremely convenient especially before work, after work or on lunch. Once you check in the target associate comes out super quick and drops the bag in your car. My only complaint with this location is they dropped a nail polish and I didn't realize it was missing till I got home. Calling them to get it straightened out was a pain but other than that I've had no issues. read more

Nothing to special to report about another Target. The cool thing is that this place is hHhhhhhuuUuHggGgGeEe! Talk about Costco on steroids. This target has a huge grocery side built within it. Need groceries? You got it here! The clothing section is never ending. The shoe section? Girl friend, it's aisles for days!!! I came in shopping for a baby shower gift and safety pins. To the gentleman target worker who knew EXACTLY which aisle I can find safety pins, you are awesome! They got self checkout for all you quickie-shoppers that like to be in and out. I feel you! Parking lot? Slightly packed when I drove it around 4pm today, so if you see a parking spot just take it. read more

The best Target I've been to. This is my go-to shop. I live right across the street and love that it's so close and convenient. The workers are sweet and helpful. It's clean and organized. The location helps keep it clean and maintained because not everyone has found this hidden gem yet. Rocklin is still developing and maybe I'm being selfish, but I love that it's never overcrowded. The cosmetics aisles are make-up galore! I can always find what I need. I don't really explore anything else except that and the shoes/clothes sections. This is also my therapy after work. The return section is also pleasant. The people at the register are always professional and super helpful! I don't normally write about everyday stores, but this place deserved a review. read more

We placed a drive-up order for some random groceries and a bunch of holiday gifts for our kids. If there's one nitpick complaint about Target's Drive Up ordering, it's that they will frequently give you too many bags. Sometimes there are one or two things in each bag. They are only ten cents each, but if you are going to throw them away anyway because you already have a hundred, it's a little annoying. Anyhow, since we were taking our kids for the order pickup, I figured Target would not let the cat out of the bag because the gifts would be in bags. In addition, it was raining so I didn't even think twice that they would have anything un-bagged. A few minutes after we arrived a trolley of new orders came out into the center staging-type area. One side had an order with 2 doll boxes on top. Our order contains 2 dolls. Uh oh. My daughter exclaimed "oh look, someone ordered dolls....and they are getting one that I wanted!" after seeing the one on top. Of course the employee brought that order over to us, checked my app to verify I was the recipient, and headed to the trunk of the car. He must have heard my kids talking about the gifts and, realizing what was happening, said "oh no kids, don't look back here". Overall not a huge deal, but the one time Target decided to go easy on the bags had to be this time?? The small lego box for my son was also un-bagged, and it could easily have been bagged. The guy made the best of the situation as he could have. Like I said earlier, they had a great response time after arriving for the order, even though they were very busy. read more

I come here all the time and have never had an experience like I did tonight. I went to the Starbucks inside this target like I always do and was helped by the rudest employee I've ever encountered. Luckily she was wearing a name tag. Her name was something like Marie or Maddie. Her attitude was terrible, if you don't like your job quit. I can't believe Target even allows employees to treat people that way. Do not stop by if she's there unless you want your coffee messed up & to be treated terrible.
