I would not recommend buying from this business because it is very expensive and if the item is not in stock, you will wait....and wait....and wait. It has been almost two months since I ordered 2 end tables and 2 lamps. I am still waiting for one of the end tables to come in. I got a call from the sales person who staid they'd look into it 2 weeks ago but I've heard nothing. I called the main number for the company and was told it's supposed to be here in 4 days. We'll see. Having to wait for furniture for months after purchase is ridiculous. I didn't order it to be built, or whatever they are doing with it. Horrible experience with their online and in-store service. I came into the store to buy a sofa, not realizing they charged me more than the online price-- even though the sales rep saw the price on my phone. I'm sure it was just an honest mistake, but it was still frustrating. Later, I purchased a dining set and requested a price adjustment after the price dropped. They hesitated to adjust it, and on top of that, they refused to refund the tax I had already paid on the difference. Absolutely one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. I am not exaggerating when I say: do NOT buy from Ashley's Furniture. I purchased a full bedroom set valued at over $4,000 and paid an additional $400+ for professional delivery and installation. The sales process was smooth -- and that's where the positive experience ended. Delivery day was a disaster. The installers arrived 4-5 hours late (scheduled for noon, showed up closer to 5 PM). They were visibly rushed and careless. In that rush, they completely broke the headboard, chipped and dented multiple pieces, installed drawer rails backwards, left out screws, and damaged two drawers. When I tried to open one, it literally began falling apart. The workmanship looked like it had been done by a child -- not a paid professional installation team. To make matters worse, they attempted to rush out and have me sign paperwork stating everything was fine. Only after I carefully inspected the damage did they acknowledge the issues and tell me to "file a claim." Customer service then assigned a case and sent a technician -- a month later. We had no choice but to sleep on a broken bed during that time. The technician confirmed the damage and ordered a new headboard and replacement drawers. Two to three months passed before parts arrived. The second visit: headboard replaced -- but no drawers. They "forgot" to order them. Another 2-3 months passed. Third visit: wrong parts were ordered. At this point, it has been over SIX MONTHS since the purchase (bought in August, now end of February). We have continued making payments on time for a defective product. The drawers remain unusable. No fourth appointment is scheduled. No correct parts have been ordered. When we contacted customer service again, they claimed the case was closed and could "reopen it." I requested a reasonable solution: send the correct drawers and issue a partial refund for selling a defective product and for the failed installation service -- I would repair it myself at this point. Their offer? 10% off. Roughly $150-$200. That doesn't even cover the botched installation fee -- let alone the six months of inconvenience, damage, and frustration. This has been an exhausting, unacceptable experience from start to finish. The quality control is poor. The installation was careless. The follow-up service was incompetent. The resolution process has been dismissive. If I could give negative stars, I would. Save yourself the time, stress, and money. Shop elsewhere. We recently purchased 2 very expensive sofas and a recliner chair from Ashley Home Store. We decide we would like to purchase an area rug to match. We found a washable area rug. When we got it home we realized the poor quality of the rug. It would not lay flat and looked awful. So I attempted to return it! They refuse to refund us but want us to do an even exchange. We found one we like for more and I'm asking for a discount for all the frustration this has been. There's nothing there I want for that amount I spent! We are still dealing with them. Our experience with Ashley Furniture has not been honest nor satisfactory. We had a power sofa and loveseat delivered only to discover the sofa is defective. The frame is obviously bent. The recliners move up and down in a jerking manner and remain at an angle. We were promised a new replacement today, Aug. 5 or tomorrow. They said they had a replacement in the warehouse. Now we are told we must wait for a resolution from the head office. If I could give 0 stars I would. We have bought most of our furniture from Ashley always. This will be the last. My family and I purchased over 6k in furniture from them, had a great experience in store, got our delivery notification and time range so we made sure to have someone home during that time. No one ever showed up, so I called and then was told they put a hold on my account but couldn't tell me why but my delivery was canceled. We also had all our old furniture hauled away because we were told to have the space cleared for our new stuff. I've been in contact with the store, the warehouse and also customer service. Not one single person has been able to resolve this yet. We have NO furniture still and now they are telling me the hold on our account could take up to 72 hours to resolve. Also their soonest delivery is now August 28th. That is absolutely ridiculous that you confirm delivery and give me a window block and now its a week later and we have no furniture in our house with little kids and a newborn baby. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM they string you along and pass you on to the next representative who needs to read your account notes to catch up. Also found out the hold on our account was from a lamp we bought separately but they somehow gave it the same order number and their system malfunctioned and apparently didnt charge us for it. It came out of our account so now I need to dispute that with our bank. They held our 6k furniture order because of a lamp they said we didnt pay for separately. My husband drove down to the nearest ashley store to pay for the lamp a second time but now our delivery is over a week later. Ashley's furniture has some very nice looking and expensive furniture. We spent over 2,000 on a leather couch and after having it for less than a year the stitching started to unravel. The coffee table and two end tables are held together by particle board and heavy duty staples. Our dining room table isn't even real wood like we were told that it was. All together we spent over 6,000 on furniture and every piece of it is absolutely awful. We probably would have had better luck buying everything at a swap meet. We ended up falling in love with this couch. We were originally going to get it as part of a set but quickly realized it would not fit in the apartment. We paid for premium delivery as the apartment is on the third floor. We got the couch today. Quick delivery. It came faster than the email said. They were in and out in 5 mins. I would definitely buy furniture from Ashley again! Edit to add: went through yelp reviews and noticed you can get a way better deal online. They sell terrible furniture that is made in Vietnam. They stand behind nothing that they sell. We'd never use the salesperson Kevin #6 again, he was just looking for a quick sale to line his pockets. One he got paid he never called us back or got back to us despite reaching out to the store dozens of times Over the course of two months for many delays and other issues. We've seen him at the store several times after, never said hi or apologized for the disservice. He wasn't knowledgeable about the mattresses he was selecting for us, insisted on trying one and done, ended up buying it and dealing with lower back pain and lack of sleep for 6 months until Ashley's finally approved the return. Not only did he damage our relationship, he cost the company thousands of dollars instead of spending an hour of your time selecting the right mattress. I have no idea how Kevin even made it into sales, this is speaking from somebody who does commercial sales in another industry not only did I spend many many hours on the phone between customer support, the in store warranty team to get this fixed, I spent many many hours and thousands of dollars at the chiropractor trying to get my lower back issues fixed that were caused by this mattress I also had to put out $500 to get a temporary one that was firmer. We found the perfect furniture for our new house that was in escrow. Danny assured us that we could delay the delivery if the close didn't happen on the expected date. 10 times Ashley changed our delivery address to the old house instead of the new one because it "has to match the billing address", each time we had to call and put in a "ticket" to have it corrected. After purchasing a kitchen table and set of stools and paying for the delivery & setup one of the stools broke after 1 month. The support legs evidently were not screwed on properly holding the legs together. After taking the stool in and the rep taking a couple photos, she said they'd need to schedule a tech to come out and look at it (even though I brought the furniture in, and it was clearly broken). The tech was booked out a months I waited a month for a guy to come by and take photos for 5 minutes to tell me what I already knew. He says the parts will be in and sent directly to me in a week or two tops. One month later I contact customer service and they say the parts are coming from over sees (mind you this is two support legs, very small pieces) and won't be in for another 6-8 weeks. Do not go to this store. They fraudulently opened up a store credit card under my name and I ended up taking a credit hit when I had to jump through hurdles to close it. Came in to look at couches and a sales associate helped me out and said we could look at financing options, I asked if it would affect my credit and he reassured me that it would not at all it would just give us a payment idea. I took that information and left, a few days later receiving my new fraudulently opened credit card in the mail. Don't waste your money. The quality and longevity of their furniture is terrible. In 2019 I bought a multi piece living room set for just under $4k but the fabric was so thin It literally fell apart after 4 years on both the couch and love seat. I gave them a second chance and tried again. I spent almost $10k in January of 2023 on a king bedroom set and a sectional power reclining sofa that I thought was better quality. I have multiple pieces of bedroom set that have drawers that don't open and close properly due to cheap poor quality hardware that's failed and not covered under warranty. My sofa has two power reclining sections out of four that have failed also. One has a motor/electronics that failed in the full reclined position. The other has linkages that have failed and don't allow the recliner to recline all the way. If you want furniture that lasts don't buy here. read more

We bought a TV entertainment set, and after multiple times of asking about the delivery and set up somehow there was still miscommunication. They lied to our faces multiple times and did not take responsibility for their own mistake. We had the TV set delivered and left outside of our door piece by piece. My girlfriend and I came here a couple of times to shop for furniture. Ashley helped us both times and she was really helpful and amazing. The problems we experienced was when they delivered the furniture. Out of the three times of delivery, they were never ever on time or showed up at the window time that was told to us. The first time we got a call that they were 2 mins away, we had to rush home from the store and they didn't even show up until 4 hours later. The second time, they said they were coming around 12-5pm but didn't show until after 7pm! The third time they called and said they were 10 mins away but didn't show up until an hour later. I had to keep calling to make sure they were even going to come. The selection at Ashley's was better than the other furniture stores I visited. All 3 trips to Ashley's were great. Philip was my sales associate. He helped me plan color schemes, showed me multiple items that would fit in my space, and basically help me decorate the room. We bought a couch and a loveseat less than 2 years ago and were convinced to get the extended warranty protection since we have dogs and was told if our furniture gets stained we can put in a claim. Not only do we have stains but the seams are coming apart, nothing to do with our dogs. We put in our claim and was denied, but told they could send an independent contractor to fix the seams at our expense. We specifically bought the protection based on what their salesperson said. "Ashley is the largest home furniture store in the world." I know this from customer service recording that I have been listening to for days now. I had a nice new couch that I purchased in store delivered last week but it had a white splotch on it (not part of the design, some sort of mar!). The delivery person said that a technician would call me back that day. No call back that day. Since then I have been on the customer service line trying to get service for this flaw for approximately a week. I work during the day so I asked for call backs and they would call during meetings and not leave a number or a call back. I finally had a day with a few meetings and I talked to a rep and he sent me back to the same onhold # that I had been on for over an hour! In addition I tried text and it appeared also to be robot that never gave me a human to speak to. By the way, I purchased a 5-year furniture protection plan for an additional $340. I definitely feel scammed! Basically not only will I never purchase from Ashley again, neither will my friends or relatives.
