If you want to be treated right, go the one in Citrus Heights. There's an employee at the Roseville location with long red hair and a mole, and she is NASTY RUDE. Like, eyeball you up and down before turning her back on you rude. Even her fellow coworkers seemed uncomfortable around her. Yeah, the Citrus Heights location is a drive and in another county, but their employees are just so friendly and helpful. Go there, instead. read more

These girls are FABULOUS! They've got a really great memory too! I'm not in very often, maybe 2 or 3 times since they've been here and they remember me coming in with my husband. I also noticed that everything in their store was on sale-Buy 1, get 1 50% off(I love those sales!) I came in looking for something very nice to wear to a special event coming up. They immediately, without me saying much but hi back, asked me what I was looking for. They showed me where to find summer dresses, the patterns....asked what colors I like to wear. We got about 7 or 8 different dresses for me to try on. While in the fitting room, they asked me if I was doing ok, or if I needed something in another size.... they made sure if I needed anything, they were there for me. When I finally found a dress that made me feel DAZZLING (when you know, you know) I of course had to pick another one I liked to get the 50% off that or another. While walking around their store in the beautiful dress I felt was chosen for me, I had to get shoes to go with it. After finding my shoes and ready for check out, they told me the shoes I had picked out were buy one get one free! YESSSS! FAVORITE SHOPPING DAY EVER! So, I got my shoes, my dresses, and paid. I'm new to the plus size club. I added 40lbs and 3 dress sizes to my frame since working from home. After a year of unsuccessful diet attempts to fit into my pre-COVID clothes, I went into this store today. It was great! They have so many business casual options, which is exactly what I needed. I got some great pieces and haven't felt this confident in a long time. The prices were definitely comparable to the stores I used to frequent. I think the jeans I got were around $80. The staff was wonderful and they made me feel beautiful for the first time in 2.5 years. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Yesterday afternoon I went in with my mom to exchange some stuff she didn't end up liking as much as she thought. While we were there we got the worst service. We understood the policy but when trying to find something to exchange the shoes for we had close to no selection to choose from in her size. I ended up having to leave the store because while walking around I heard two employees blatantly talking crap about us in the front corner of the store. This is one of my moms favorite stores but the galleria location needs improvement. Every time we go in they're rude, huffing and puffing when helping customers or they just act like they hate their job. Not going back! read more

I have been in this store 3 times now. The only greeting I get is " you can come in" because of covid they only let so many people in at once. All 3 times it has been me and one other customer. Once I'm in the store I'm not acknowledged or offered any help. The first visit, I purchased 3 pairs of jeans. I didn't know the fitting rooms were open. I ended up needing to return 1 pair. When I did the return, they said I could try on clothes in their fitting room. The store itself is clean and nicely organized. The clothing are good quality. I love that they have extra tall jeans. I ended up purchasing 3 more pairs online because online has much better customer service than in store. I would highly recommend upper management to pay a visit to this location ..Roseville Galleria and work with the girls on their customer service. And maybe remind them that they have their jobs because of customers and no other reason. read more

Up until recently, I didn't know what this store was except just something I pass by in the mall. I looked around online and was pleasantly surprised to know they serve all sizes. I don't see a lot of them these days at least that have a physical store. The store itself is a decent size with a corner of it being clearance items. All of the attendants were always nearby and asking if I had any questions or needed any help. After looking around, I ended up needing help as I didn't know anything about fashion or sizing. I don't remember her name but one of the ladies working there were really great in helping me out with sizing and making sure I looked and felt great. Honestly, I'm really surprised by the star rating because I had a very pleasant experience here yesterday. I always like to visit Torrid stores because the stock tends to vary from store to store. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store and asked if I needed any help. I didn't because I was just in to browse. I need more clothes like I need another hole in my head- not at all! I found some cute dresses while browsing and another associate ask me if I needed help locating my size or if I needed a fitting room. I didn't need either because I was determined to keep my wallet firmly closed today but I thought the sales associates were very friendly and definitely helpful. I didn't buy anything today but the staff made me want to! I wouldn't hesitate to make a purchase from this store in the future when I actually need something or the moment I decide to let my cash run free again. read more

Came in here earlier with my boyfriend to look for bras. Was instantly greeted by one of your FABULOUS associates who I know as Adrianna (per the receipt) she was super helpful in finding the bras I wanted and needed, got me a fitting room quickly and was super friendly and has a great personality! My boyfriend was super impressed with how respected he felt I was and we had a great experience. I always do when I go to Torrid but Adrianna (and I hope that's her name) was amazing! Tonight, I had a terrible experience at Torrid (Store #5372). My best friend needed clothes for her new job, so we went to the new Torrid that opened at the mall. We had shopped at other locations and were excited about one opening closer to us. Immediately, my friend found a dress she loved and an associate told us it had just gone on sale. When we went to check out, however, the manager asked if she wanted to buy another full priced item to get the BOGO 50% deal. My friend pointed out that the dress was marked down. At this point, the manager's entire demeanor shifted. She informed us that the dress was brand new and could not have been marked down and then peeled the sale sticker off in front of us and other customers. When I let her know that an associate had told us it was on sale and that there were others marked with the same price, she went to check. The manager then came back with a handful of the same dress all marked down to the same price. Very caustically, she announced that she would honor the price tag. She acted as if she were doing us a huge favor by honoring their own price tag. As she rung my friend up, she said very curtly that all clearance sales were final. She also said multiple times that this was a "very good deal" and that my friend should be grateful for it. The experience left me shocked and my friend demoralized. Our fun shopping trip had been ruined. The entire transaction felt accusatory. She implied that we had switched the sale stickers and, even after she discovered the price had been marked down by her employee, my friend never received an apology. The manager was so rude to us that I am going to think twice about going to this location. read more

Buying online from Canada. Shipping is $32... which is way too high. Ridiculous! Then customs got me for another$26! I like the clothes.. that's why I give 2 stars. The clothes are cute. But a t-shirt-type shirt I bought has a hole in it, after only 3 wears and 1 wash. Unacceptable. I wrote to the company and they said "Sorry, it's past the 60 day guarantee." 60 day guarantee against holes is pretty bad. Even after the bad experience, I just ordered a dress from them- listed as $68 on the website.. when I opened the box, I took it out and the price tag attached to the dress said $40???? This torrid was very cramped. The front part of the store looked good but the back was a mess. Through staff was very friendly though.

I always have a really wonderful experience in this store! Sure, the store is a bit small and cramped, but I'd rather it be full of product than empty! The people that work there are always super helpful and have wonderful recommendations. They are always offering to get difference sizes or recommend other clothes if I can't find what I'm looking for. They also are not pushy about the rewards or credit card offers. They always ask, but when I politely decline they are respectful, which I appreciate. read more

This rating is mostly for the sales associates. I have visited both the Arden and Roseville shops. In all of the instances I have shopped there, which has been about 2-4 times, I felt like the sales associates would rather be anywhere else but at work. I get that...everyone has a bad day. But it's their job to be helpful and nice to their customers. I see by the other postings that Torrid has an issue with customer service. It's a shame that upper management isn't taking this issue seriously as it will definitely affect sales negatively. I'd have to say that I am pleased with the clothing items I have purchased: bra, jeans, graphic t-shirt. Yes, they are on the pricey side but so far have stood the test of wear and tear. read more

This was always a decent store until tonight. I had Arden put a top on hold that Roseville assured was the correct size. I drive close to 50 miles to go to the Roseville location only to find out they put the shirt in a wrong size on hold. Oh yes I must mention that online and every store within their "district" was sold out. The African American girl with curly hair (didn't catch her name only that she was an "assistant manager") was no help at all. I ended up walking out because of her poor customer service skills- she kept making excuses for the previous employee who put the top on hold. I asked her to check other stores and it was more of a chore than anything to her. This is your stores fault not mine. I finally had to say Just find the shirt and she just stared at me and said she would call places, yet it was too late and I was done with this location. I walked out and called arden to explain the situation. They are going to find the shirt for me and ship it to me. Good one Torrid, Roseville! You just lost another customer! read more

Normally I love the Roseville torrid however on Sunday night I was appalled and very irritated at how I was treated! All store and mall hours indicated the store was open until 8 pm after dinner we arrived at 7:05 pm, we didn't even get all the way in the door before the short haired blonde working the counter snapped they were closed. When I asked about the holiday mall hours stating 8, she rudely snapped " no definitely 7" I thought her reaction could have been handled so much more professionally and maybe not kick some people out while others were being permitted to shop! This is the worse Torrid I have ever been to! First of all the space is way to small and they shove so much stuff in the racks that you can't even look through it. Also even with all this over stocking they rarely have anything besides size 0-2. Secondly the employs are rude! They are unwilling to help and they are very slow whenever you do ask anything of them. I'll gladly drive the extra miles to go to the Torrid in the Sunrise mall. I want to start off by saying that when I first went to Torrid they were very amazing I love all the people the clothes the experience it was amazing. I bet you're asking yourself then why the only 3 points? Because after they got me to get hooked on them and I've gone back several times I found that every time I buy clothing from there it rips breaks or gets destroyed. I bought a brah it cost me about $70 and I had to return it after the first time of wearing it because it popped through the underwire period.. I bought several different shirts from there and every time I buy a shirt I fall in love with it and I wear it .... what do you do after you wear something??? You wash it ! I always wash my clothes according to what the text says to do and even though I do that the clothes end up either being ripped torn the words follow something always breaks on the clothes. This is unacceptable I'm paying $55 for a regular t-shirt or a sweat top which is three times the amount from a regular store for the quality to be really bad this has happened several times with several different outfits I don't feel like it's worth the money anymore to continue to go and I used to be a regular customer. read more

This is one of the worst torrids I've been to. I would have thought it would have been bigger and more organized being at the galleria. I get it, the stores can be a mess sometimes. But when there's only 2 employees working and helping 1 customer for 15 minutes and not offering anything to help me grab 1 item in the back (leggings lol not hard), it makes a customer feel awkward. No hello or greeting from either of them. I had a pile of clothes in my arms ready to go, I waited in the "line" behind the women being helped and both employees looked annoyed and clearly not happy. After a few minutes of waiting right there, in front of the girl on the phone and the lady standing at the register, I put my clothes down and left instead.
