I love their color schemes and designs, more classic yet with new twists for the females in their teenagers to early thirties. The materials they use are not for long term use . They look very pretty but may not last . Price is on the higher side compare to Q and H& M . It does go on sale from time to time and that will be the best deals . Today is one week before Thanksgiving and they are having a " Friendsgiving " sale . Buy one and the second one is 70 % off . I hate shopping here! I used to love it because their clothes are so adorable and well made, but the employees and manager are so incredibly pushy and all about making a sale. I have chosen not to shop here at the Roseville galleria and the Folsom locations anymore. Unfortunately they will be losing a lot of money because I used to be a huge supporter, but after they made me feel terrible trying to return something, I decided I'm not shopping there anymore. They would give me bad looks, roll their eyes, and they would change from being nice when I walked in to being silent and making me feel bad when I return. As if it's my fault I'm returning something? I should easily be able to return something but the managers at this store are so money hungry that all they care about is making a sale instead of making their costumer's feel welcomed, heard, and supported. I was shopping there and they insist on helping you pick out clothes but when they picked out something I didn't like, I couldn't even say "no" to them. They would just respond with "oh just try it". Terrible store and the worst, most money hungry and fake managers ever. read more

This is a fairly new place that has gotten popular here in Sacramento. I want to say the Arden Fair had it first, and then it made its way to the Roseville Galleria. I've always thought this place was adorable. A very boutique like feel, but the clothes weren't extremely expensive. I usually like to go in and browse because I really love their accessories and handbags. Sometimes they also have really cute nick knacks at their tables like Urban Outfitters with cute books, tools for the house, etc. I rarely buy their clothes (because I feel that sometimes you can get something similar and fairly cheaper at Forever 21), but sometimes you can find a good piece on sale. The clothes are very girly and there's a good variety between casual/business attire as well. I have purchased about 3-4 handbags from here, and maybe a piece of jewelry or two (which is a little expensive, but again, when things are on sale, you can find a good deal). You're probably looking at an average price for a handbag 20-50 dollars, and shirts and dresses around 34-68 dollars. I'm not one to complain much, but I really get peeved when no one greets me at the door. (Call me a diva, but with 8+ years of retail/customer service experience under my belt, I feel it's only necessary to make a customer feel welcomed.) I walked into the store with one girl at the register organizing clothes, and another girl in the back folding clothes onto the shelves. I figured at first, maybe I wasn't in her line of vision, but when I was clearly next to her, and she didn't acknowledge me, I started getting a little annoyed. I continued walking around the store, then running into the other gal, who proceeded to look at me, but no words out of her either. They both just looked at me, no words. I was beginning to think maybe everyone would be treated this way, until about 3-4 other ladies walked into the store with a nice greeting from the girls. NOW, I'm really pissed. It wasn't until maybe 10 minutes into me picking out a few shirts in my hand, that the girl offered to start me a fitting room, and once I was in the room, she did ask me if I was doing okay. Maybe today was just an off day, because usually I get pretty good service or at least a hello when I walk in. Hopefully it'll be better next time. I'm not shunning them, but it may be awhile before I come back. read more

One of the most rude employee I've ever met in my life. Me and my mom got to the store around 8:30pm since I got off work late this day this was our only time to shop. We understood that they close in 30 minutes so tried our best to be quick. Around 5 mins later another customers (mom and daughter) came in. As soon as they came in the store employee turned off the music and start making really big sigh that almost made me uncomfortable. Around 8:50 we went to the register and ready to pay. But the employee ordered my mom to bring the hat that was laying on the folded clothes behind us to her(No, it was a hat that she didn't even tried on. All the hat that she tried on, she put it back in place) Weird. But my mom brought it to her. After bringing the hat to her she started wrapping all the jewelry in a wrapper but I some of them were for my younger sister's present so I asked her if she could put 2 bracelets separate and she didn't even say anything but grabbed jewelry and threw them on the table aggressively that some of them fall ok the ground. And crumbled wrapping paper and aggressively opened up the cabinet and threw it in the trash and closed the cabinet super loud. My mom told her it's ok that we could just use the paper bag that we got from the nordstrom and asked her if she was ok. And she yelled at us "I WAS HERE SINCE 1PM" Ok.... Does that mean that you can throw anger and be rude to customers??? I worked 9 hours earlier that day and as well as my mom. Also, if she hates her work so much why is she even working for customer service job? My mom is a loyal customer since 6 years ago so whenever she goes to the galleries mall she visits this store. I absolutely love Francesca's, every location I've ever been to is amazing! All the employees are always very sweet and helpful. This location isn't very crammed like a few locations are. They had a great variety of jewelry and clothing. I came in looking for 2 dresses, one for my bridal shower and one for my rehearsal dinner. Looking for white dresses can be a challenge, but to my surprise they had somewhere between 10-15 plain white dresses. Sara helped me from the moment I walked in the door. She was very bubbly and enthusiastic about her job. She helped me pick out a good handful of dresses to try on. Then she informed me that there's a sale right now (my weakness) buy one full price item get 2 for 40% off. Francesca's usually has this promotion on jewelry or they have it on clothes but you buy 1 get 1 for 40%, I've never seen the sale at 2 40% items. So that was a plus. I only wanted and needed 2 dresses but I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity so I looked at the jewelry (darn)! I found the cutest necklace but it was a little messed up. I asked Sara if they had any extras, she looked in their overstock for me. Told you she was great! They didn't have anymore but she offered to order it for me. If I had a necklace for one dress, I needed one for the other right? So obviously I was going to get another 3 things. I found another very cute necklace but needed earrings. No Francesca's I've been to have a very broad selection of rose gold jewelry. Needless to say their rose gold earrings were pretty sparse. But once again Sara to the rescue! She pulled out this huge bin of all their extra rose gold earrings and we went searching. I always spend way too much time and money in Francesca's, but it's well worth it! Nothing annoys me quite like shopping for clothes. It's not that I don't like clothes, it's that I don't really like spending my money on things that aren't burritos or red velvet cupcakes, plus I tend to spaz out over things like too much selection coupled with the loud pop music they usually play in clothing stores. BUT I like quality things that won't fall apart in the wash (sniff, Target)...which means I end up agonizing over purchases. And I LOVE the Gap, but I hate the mall, and hardly ever go in order to avoid that godforsaken place. Seriously, who likes the mall? And is it just me, or has fashion gotten really, really obnoxious over the past few years? Now that I've grown up into a working lady who needs to be professional but also doesn't want to look older than her 20-something years, it seems my options have narrowed. Enter Francesca's. Yes, you will have to go to the mall. Make your peace with it now- I have (for the most part.) Francesca's is worth it. The clothes are adorable- you can wear the cute little blouses to work with your dress pants, and the pretty skirts and sundresses on the weekends. Everything is romantic and feminine, without being overkill. And the pieces are flattering- you don't have to weigh 90 pounds to pull off most of the styles, but they're also not shapeless. The first time I visited this place, Rachel Z. was ready to strangle me because the moment we stepped in I immediately grabbed four things off the rack to try on (we were on a SCHEDULE, people!) I ended up impulse-buying a dress (ever seen my pretty green dress? That's the one!) and a top. I NEVER impulse buy. And the prices are reasonable enough to satisfy my cheapskate nature but high enough that you feel secure in knowing they're well-made, and hopefully not by some starving child in Taiwan. BUYERS BEWARE of this store's return policy!!! I purchased several purses before going on a cruise. When I came back, I wanted to return one of the purses that I had purchased. I had the original receipt and the purse still had the tags on it, as I had not used it, and it was not a sale item. But, because it had been more than 14 days -- 3 weeks to be exact --, they WOULD NOT give me a refund!!!!! 14-days, I was out of the country for that time!!!! Unbelievable!! Seriously, what kind of store does this?? I've never had a problem returning some things to Macy's, Nordstroms, Penneys, or DSW... In fact, I don't think I've had a problem like this with any other store, ever! I am really appalled. They have lost a customer, yet they are able to put the returned item back on the shelf without an issue. Come on people, I had the receipt and tags were attached - geez!!!! NOT HAPPY!!! read more

I came here yesterday and today and there were 4 workers, two of them were rude (including the store manager). I bought two items yesterday and wanted to go exchange them and also purchase a few other items. When I told her I have a 25% coupon from their website to use, the cashier told me I could only use the coupon on one item but the coupon clearly said "Discount applies to one entire full price purchase" and when I tried to show her the coupon she refused to look at my coupon. After searching through a binder she starts ringing up my items without saying anything to me. After she ringed the items she opened up the binder again and looked like she's trying to find a code and was taking a bit long so I kindly said "I have the coupon (with barcode) here on my phone" but she rudely responded that she "got it". There was No "thank you" or "have a nice day", she just handed me my stuff. It was an unpleasant shopping experience for me and so I won't be coming here again. read more
