Came to exchange a Christmas gift I received. It was purchased on 12/9 (not by me it was a gift). I attempted to return it on 1/10. I was told there was nothing they could do for me since it had been 32 days since the purchase date. I do not live near Zara and this was the first date I was able to get to a Zara to make my exchange for an outfit that does not fit. It is crazy that they count Christmas Day as a day and that around the holidays they do not make any kind of an exception. I hope all of Zara goes out of business truly! I am now stuck with an outfit that does not fit. Talk about a waste! read more

So I do dig the clothes here. But c'mon Zara marketing folks, it's hard to tell what the clothes ACTUALLY look like when you're shopping online because the models wear them like crazy people. This has nothing to do with the stores however so I'll continue... During a sale the clothes are constantly picked over, I usually buy everything online, and then return 80-90% of the items in the store. The changing rooms are a bit chaotic. They must have loved not having the rooms open during covid. I think one of the prerequisites for working here is having permanent RBF. Are the workers happy? No. Do the models online look happy? No. But is the fashion cool? Hmmm...sometimes. The sizes are more European sized so their smalls are smaller than your average S that you'd find at, lessay, GAP. One thing I do appreciate during their sales is that they don't mess around. This past season I scored some wide leg red trousers and a black knit sweater dress. Both were $12.99 score! read more

As a local of this mall, I tend to stay away on the weekends. My daughter was off school on a Monday and she needed some new pants. I took the day off and we went to Zara to shop. There was literally no other shoppers in the store at 10am on a Monday. We entered the store and there were employees EVERYWHERE. Not one employee even acknowledged us the whole time. It was wild. I have a background in retail and to not even get a hello or do you need another size is insane to me...especially when there are no other people shopping and employees EVERYWHERE. I haven't been at checkout at this Zara for a few years since I moved out of the city. I made a few trips back to the Galleria mall a few times a year and browsed the racks, though I didn't make any purchases. I ordered some things online, but decided to return it since the price dropped significantly soon after due to the Zara sale. I happened to be in the area and decided to just return the merch here. I was at checkout twice, once upstairs and once downstairs. Both cashiers did not smile what-so-ever and look like they genuinely hate working there. One of the girls looked frustrated that she had to explain how returns worked to me (their process has changed since the last time I was here so I just asked for some clarification). I don't remember this Zara being like this a few years ago. The only saving grace was the blonde-haired girl at the changing rooms who grabbed my pickup order. Warning Do not order from Zara's online through their app! I ordered on April 19th and never received my order nor a correspondence as to where my order was. I got a email the day I ordered stating my order was received and placed. I also had a message on Zara's app stating my order would be here on May 1st. My money was taken out of my account right away, by the way. To this date, May 12th it still has that same message and I have not received my package. It was to be delivered to the Zara's store in my area. I called today on the 12th, and the rude customer service rep who assisted me told me they had delivery problems. They never bothered to send me any communication regarding this, nor did they refund my money. She rudely suggested that my refund would take 14- business days to show up in my account. This is after the three weeks they have already held on to it. They tell you, there is no supervisor or manager that takes calls. Buyer be ware! Terrible service! Zero stars!​ read more

I come here to buy clothing for my toddler. The clothes change often, which makes me come back to observe the new selection in stock. The clothes are well made and the colors stand out. My kids clothes still look brand new after multiple washes. Wears it once gets washed. After two years still looking good. The large dress shirt I bought here still looking good. Form fitting and tailored nicely. Even better is that the men's stuff seems moderately cheaper then most men's departments that charge you more for items that do not meet the price. There used to be only skinny clothes here for the men's department. Think someone finally told an employee that Zara addresses all shapes and sizes, and has baggy clothing online. Literally seeing for an entire year of only skinny jeans is a bad marketing strategy. Only catering to about a fifth or less of the population. That being said, someone new is possibly making decisions on the clothing selection for the men's department. Someone who is more comfortable with bigger people and clothes that are baggy. Or in most people's cases, muscular. They ask for your phone number so you can get a text receipt. It's nice, shows you exactly what you got and pictures are easy to store and hard to lose. All of the cashiers and people attending the dress areas are nice. A little bit understaffed for the men's and kids section, but the entire first floor for women is always busy so it's relatable on where they use their resources. read more

My very first visit to Zara and I found the perfect winter coat. Made me so happy!!! My mission on this particular day, honestly, was to find a raincoat. Still wearing the Banana Republic raincoat I bought on sale ($60...yeah, it was a great sale and really cute.) way too many years ago. But as I and the GF were strolling through the Galleria she popped into Zara. This is one of her favorite stores. It is a high-fashion concept store. She enjoys the European flair of the clothes designs and that they have men's and women's as well as children's clothing (ZARA Kids). Wait there's more:). Accessories, shoes, swimwear, beauty and perfume. And if that is not enough, in May 2021, Zara launched its first beauty line, ZARA Beauty! So as I was saying...raincoat! We had not been there for 5 minutes and the GF brings me the cutest coat. I tried it on and OMG. Well made, 100 percent Italian wool and perfect fit. I loved it! So who needs a raincoat:)? Aren't we in the middle of a drought! Plus the GF says for the few times it is going to rain carry an umbrella! Made sense to me! While not inexpensive it was reasonable and there were only two left. And one fit me! Enough said...right! I am not sure there would be a lot of products I would be interested in and the clothing line is pretty trendy. The target market is composed of men and women, 18-40 years of age with mid-range incomes (according to one of the sales people.). It was a fun store to buzz through and check out. Zara stores are located worldwide. Founded in 1975, it is a Spanish apparel retailer based in Spain. And the Company has had its share of controversies but that is for another review! p.s. The few times that I actually go in the store... maybe once a year? The manager should hire Tesla robots because the employees there are EMO, dark, no life customer service. It's different from this location to Las Vegas location near the Wynn. Likely to blame on the manager. How difficult is it to train employees to say, how are you? Can I help you find something? Have a wonderful day! Let me check if I can find that online for you. How did everything fit? It takes 30 mins of your time to train them. Basic customer service. I was just here to return 1 item that I bought from a different store because it didn't fit me. The line was so long to pay for purchases so I head upstairs and ask the other employees if they have a specific line just for returns because I am not spending all my time falling in line just to return an item, they said that I can go to the men's to return the item. When I got there in line, the guy at the cashier's loudly announced that he will only entertain purchases, and his face looks like he never wanted to show up for his shift there were only 5 of us in line I believe, I told him that the ladies working at the kids section told me to come over and it would be okay, and he gave me that look. He had no choice but to attend to me but he never said hello or anything he took my items and just said you're all set, it took him maybe 3 minutes for my transaction because I was ready with my receipt and item. It was unacceptable for them to act that way with customers. I didn't yell at him or anything and if I wasn't told to come in line there by his co-workers I wouldn't, Anyways, I shop here all the time because it's the closest Zara store to me but I'm thinking if I'll ever come back after this experience. read more

I'm amazed that this location has decided to permanently close dressing rooms so that they may use the areas for storage. The dressing rooms have been closed every time I've visited since Covid began. When I asked why they were still closed during a visit this month, an employee told me the store had too much merchandise so they needed to store it in their dressing rooms ... in every single dressing room on both floors. Whenever an employee has told me the dressing rooms are closed, they follow it up with the comment - "BUT you have 30 days to return something" which is hilarious because that's a standard return policy, nothing extra. If I am going to burn a day driving out to the mall with my children to shop for clothes, it's because I want them to try things on to see what fits. Why would I go to a physical store just to purchase a bunch of things that will necessitate a return visit, which, at this place means standing in a ridiculously slow line? Why not just move everything online and close all the stores down? In truth though, I can't blame Zara itself for this issue. I took my daughter shopping in San Francisco a month ago, and we went into two different Zara stores there; neither one had closed dressing rooms, so this is not a corporate move. It appears to be more the decision of whoever is (very poorly) running this specific store. Still the same old crap here - lines out the door, one person checking people out - store is a mess. Nothing has changed.

Terrible customer service in this store. I ordered an item for pick up in store and was actually initially excited to get it. Finally received the email stating it is ready for pick up so I went and picked it up today. When I first came in there was a long line in the registers. I waited for about 10 minutes.. From the 10 minutes I had to wait I observed that the two cashiers CLEARLY hated their jobs and were doing a little game of who can work slower. The negative work environment was palpable and looking around, every employee looked miserable. Anyway, when it was finally my turn the cashier was quick to tell me that for pick-up orders it'll actually be in the fitting rooms. First off, If you're going to have that designation for pick-up orders (highly obscure spot btw) signs are DEFINITELY needed or something in the email for pick-up instructions would've been helpful. So I go into the fitting rooms- also has a line- no sign of any employee there, it was a mess... waited for another 5 minutes and somebody finally comes and tells me to take whatever room is open. I respond with no, I'm actually here to pick up an order- she takes her scanner out- again, takes a minute or so. While we were waiting I gently told her that signs are definitely needed here for pick-up orders, I am sure I am not the only one who's had to unknowingly wait at the registers for that. She laughs awkwardly and apologizes, but clearly dismisses my suggestion. She darts away as fast as she could to get my order so she doesn't have to face me any longer. Never shopping here again. Two stories, awesome. However, the selection, not so great. Yes, this store had a good sale today but I found a better selection at different Zara locations. There were some accessories, but the jewelry was missing an earring or it was damaged. Some of the clothes looked worn out and didn't have my size. It kind of reminded me of how Forever 21 was two years ago. Upstairs was the men's and kids department. There was a good sale on outerwear, sweaters, and pants for boys. I ended up purchasing one thing - a pair of pants for my son. The cashier line was super long on the first floor. So we went upstairs to check out in the kids department. The card machine shut down on me while I was paying for my merchandise so it took awhile for it to reboot. Love Zara but this location didn't meet my expectations. Maybe next time? read more

This store is horrible. It's not only this location but we were at one in LA a week earlier and the service is terrible. The employees are rude and service is slow. Always have huge lines and I've noticed employees talking badly about customers. Not sure how this store stays in business. Corporate should really do something about it. Looks like a common company wide problem. Lines are so bad that I stay in line while my wife shops. I told her not to bother buying at the store and order online whenever possible. read more

Zara, what can I say never shopped at the store before and never will again. Some cute clothes but horrible customer service. We stood in the long line (which was fine especially this time of year). The cashier grabbed the item out of hand, didn't tell me the final cost, just you can swipe your card now. I asked her for the receipt she said it is text to you, like I should know this. Because I didn't buy a bag, she couldn't hand me my items, she put the receipt on my items and said next, without giving us a chance to move. She was rude all around. I don't normally write yelp reviews but my experience here was so awful that I want to share in hopes that the store will improve. The customer service here is abominable. I'm not a high maintenance customer at all. The least I expect is polite and professional behavior from employees. Not only was the fitting room employee rude, dismissive, and lazy, but the fitting rooms themselves were filthy. while trying on clothes, the employee was loudly speaking using vulgar language and cursing. When I tried to return the clothes that didn't work out, she told me to "put them back myself" and stood there texting on her cell phone while I did so. so rude!! having others do your job while being on your personal phone at work is completely unprofessional. the lines are always long and there's never any apology or consideration to the customer about it. the employees I encountered clearly lack basic respect and communication skills. honestly, I would rather never shop here again than put up with that type of conduct. Customer service would need to be better and something has to be done to improve the long line or wait during check out to be worthy of 4 or 5 stars. First time to return to Zara ever since the Covid Pandemic began on March 2020. Nice to be back and to see this location still looking the same as it was before the pandemic. I was expecting to see some rearrangements like how one would see when go to restaurants (with tables & chairs all spread out for social distancing, etc.) Guess they didn't need to since all the clothing racks and table displays are already spaced out with plenty of spaces to begin with. Nonetheless, good to see markings on the wall and floor to be mindful of mask wearing and 6 ft social distancing as well as some hand sanitizers available. Do not even attempt to call. NO ONE picks up their phone! I drove 212 miles RT from San Ramon coz Walnut creek (only zara location that occasionally answers calls) told me Roseville is the only store with several stock of a clearance item. Zara does not hold or send clearance items OR PICK UP calls so no choice and i drove 4hrs RT. I want to COMMEND PAIGE who had the heart to help, emphathize and found me the ONLY size i came for. I felt her compassion and willingness to help me and was apologetic too. Not all of then were created equal coz i spoke to another employee to find another item and SHE did not care at all and automatically showed her dis-interest to help. She was lucky i was in a good mood already and did not get her name to post here. I KNOW it is busy but it is also PANDEMIC so those still working should make it worth our while to still walk in OPEN IN BUSINESS STORES than order online!! I was so so grateful! I was in here 3 weeks ago, and I was trying on so many clothes, the first time in a long time. I was so excited for all the finds. I wanted to have them hold the items, so I didn't impulse purchase. Unfortunately, they don't do this anymore for a few hours, so I hid them in the store together hoping I didn't have to search and find them. I ended up doing this, buying all of the items, and I purchased the wrong item. To sum up my disappointment, I came back to the store to exchange them. I approached this super lovely woman, Namoona, (I'm so sorry for spelling this wrong); she was here when, I was here last time, such a kind and sensitive heart. I asked her to see if she could help me find them. She was so efficiently looking the night the store, but she couldn't, so as I was standing in line. I saw her still looking, and she found them!! I drove over an hour here, and explained how grateful I was. She's so patient, calm, and kind, and I truly hope she manages/leads this store like her service and character because this made my week and heart as an example is costumer service with heart that's so often neglected. This store has a great selection, the fitting room employees were quick to help me, but checking out was an unpleasant experience. There was only one cashier even though there were six of us in line. The cashier was helping a Karen who last minute decided she needed to grab more clothes to her already huge pile. She was gone for about 3 minutes while the rest of us waited in line and the cashier did not even call for more assistance while the line was getting bigger. What are your headsets for? The Karen came back with more stuff and proceeded to TRY IT ON while we had to wait and watch. When another cashier finally helped me it was about 7 minutes total standing in line, you could have at least waived the bag fee as a courtesy. Took almost 40 mins just to pay ! There were approximately 5 customers ahead of me. Only One register was open, and the store manager came to spent 15mins ,without opening any additional cashier to help others to check out while Dealing with a customer , well open up another register for other customers sake! Terrible experience at this store! Terrible customer service. I just moved to Sacramento and visited the Roseville store and bought a shirt. After wearing it I noticed a damage. I didn't wash and went back within 3 weeks of the purchase to either return, exchange or get a store credit. I was open to all options except for accepting to keep a defect product. The store manager behaved in an unprofessional manner not only refusing to find a solution but had a terrible attitude. This store is a disaster. Everything is a mess constantly. It's one of the busiest stores in the mall in Roseville, and the workers take their sweet time at the registers folding clothes and return stuff for people. The line is wrapped around and to the back of the store and 3 registers are only open. The workers are rude and the customer service is absolute trash. If I could give less stars I would. All of my friends rave about this place and are always wearing the cutest things and they recommend I go there. I went in middle of the day during the week so it wouldn't be busy, as expected it wasn't which was nice. I wasn't greeted by anyone.. ever, no one asked if I needed help, no one made eye contact with me. So I just started from one end of the store and made my way through the whole store trying not to care about that, they had several employees on the floor so it was strange. After spending 30 mins going through the store I was unable to find any pants above a size 8... I'm only a 12-14 depending on the brand so. I also was unable to locate any top that was a size large or extra large. To say the least I was very disappointed and left the store crying.
