This review is for the Macy's at Roseville Galleria. I've been coming here for many years and unfortunately the service is always subpar. If you're just coming to Macy's, park on the lower level so you don't have to walk through the mall and can go right in. They have a good selection but the store is always messy and in disarray. Things are piled everywhere and out of place. It's like a mob went through. On this particular visit I had to hunt for a sales person who was then totally surly and disagreeable with me. She could not have cared less about helping me. And it takes forever to check out and pay. Kino the tiny old guy manager is a rude, disrespectful person. I retuned Ugg shoes and the guy at the register said he wanted to do a gift card so I could reorder in store a new pair of boots since the boots that i returned were dirty and out of stock in store but in stock online . He then called this guy ( manager ) and he said no he couldn't do a gift card and it had to be refunded on the same form of payment and then I could reorder again . So I said fine let's do that , I didn't ask for a gift card , the guy at the register suggested that so I said I am okay with paying again and just refund me . Well 10 days later still no refund and after calling customer service I was told I was refunded in a gift card $183.13 I never received a gift card , kino or the tall guy kept it and I hope they checked the cameras. Kino pointed his finger on my face and said in front of dozen of people that he saw the tall guy giving me a gift card and I paid for the new Uggs with the gift card . I had the receipt showing that I paid with my credit card . Customer service said someone used that gift card on October 9th , 3 days after I returned the shoes , customer service also told me that the person who used that gift card has a total different Macys rewards number and different name from mine . Again kino was listening to all of this while I was on the phone with customer service and he was yelling saying I was calling him a liar. I felt violated , robbed . A nice gentleman stepped in , his name is Tushaar and finally took the time to listen to me without insulting me and yelling like kino did . He took my information and told me that lost and theft department service is looking up who used that gift card . I was then called on my phone by Tushaar saying he believed me and apologized and asked me to go back to give me a refund . Kino shouldn't be representing Macys or working at customer service. He is a disgrace and a disgusting human . Thanks Tushaar for giving me my $183 back but I would never go back and closing my accounts and credit cards with Macys . That gift card was used by kino or the tall guy who was at the register that day and I am sure of that . I really do hope this gets investigated and they look at the cameras like they said they will. because they will know who took that gift card and telling me I was getting a refund on my bank instead but I never did. read more

Department stores have changed over the years and the economics don't allow for the same level of service. Having said that I would rather shop Macy's for quality, selection and price. This year I noticed a marked change in speed of delivery for online orders. WHICH I LOVE. For years I've noticed that clothing, no matter where you buy it, always takes longer than other items. Convenient Online Shopping This was my first time doing Black Friday online with Macy's and I was pleased with the experience. My purchases qualified for Free Shipping but I opted to pick up my items at my closest Macy's (my work is just on the next block from the Westfield Galleria). Plus I want to be sure that my items are secured. There has been a rash of porch pirates reported last year in our area and it may be happening again this year. Pick up was on the 2nd Floor, at the "At Your Service Center" in the Young Men's Department near the entrance from the parking lot. There are designated parking spots for curbside pickup so it was very convenient. The employees were helpful and friendly. I was in and out quickly. With all the mass smash-and-grab robberies happening I'm even terrified to be out there in malls... California has had a series of these orchestrated dramatic robberies especially at high end stores like the one at a Louis Vuitton store in San Francisco's Union Square. It also happened at Nordstroms in Walnut Creek (Bay Area) and SoCal, and a jewelry store in Hayward. Anyway, I digress... I'm just glad I was able to do some convenient online Black Friday shopping at Macy's. I also like to shop at their Last Act clearance section. It's not often I find something my style but occasionally I would find some good deals. I had purchased some women's underwear previously and when I returned to Macy's Galleria in Roseville, I decided to purchase some more. I was glad to see Joan was there again as she was the one who helped me on my first visit. She is so personable, eager to help, and very patient. On both occasions there were no more items in my size on display and Joan offered to look in the back to see if there were anymore, and both times success. Every time I go to the lingerie department I want to look for Joan because she goes the extra mile to satisfy customers, all with a great attitude and a smile. read more

Honestly stay to shopping online if you don't fit in with their "look", sucks though if I wanted to try a perfume before buying. Farhibar stared at me waiting by myself without even offering help and was even chatting with a blonde haired employee(which this employee did smile at me but continued with their conversation). I had to eventually ask Farhibar when she was headed out to leave. That was womens fragrance, heading to men's to see if I have a better chance. Let's see....where do I begin? This is a big store with lots of different departments. The first floor has the juniors section (located on the left hand side of the store), a dress department, makeup and beauty, a large purse and fitness section. These sections are all geared toward women and has lots of brands to choose from like Roxy, O Neil, Adidas, Northface to name a few. Upstairs is the men's department, lingerie and pajamas for women and a large home section too with bedding and kitchen appliances and accessories. What I love about this store is the Macy's star rewards card which is absolutely free and you get so many discounts on items plus star reward money too (highly recommend). Customer service is amazing as well. My one gripe? The bedding section got rid of Laura Ashley bedding which was my favorite and replaced it with more generic brand bedding but they still have Chapter Club bedding for kids, a new Lacoste bedding section, and Ralph Lauren bedding too. I love coming here to buy bed sheets and pillow cases which always seem to be on sale and an occasional clothing item too. Store is always clean and well organized. I went with my wife to return an online order that didn't fit. We waited in the customer service line and were denied the return. We asked to talk to a manager as the jumpsuit didn't fit, had all tags and wanted to exchange for the correct size. Nicole, the manager, was extremely unprofessional as she talked over my wife and kept denying the return stating the order was online and the pants needed a special tag on the jumpsuit. Macy's Department Store is the store I shopped mostly for many years. But they closed some stores and most of the remaining stores are due to the very needed remodeling or poorly organized with no customer services. It stopped a lot of my friends including me shopping in Macy's. But this Macy's in Roseville Galleria is still providing good levels of customer service and the store is beautiful. This is one of the very few Macy's I still enjoy the in-store shopping. The store is very nicely decorated and divided into many sections for the shoppers who can quickly find the items they are looking for. This is making my shopping more enjoyable! The salesperson are still available in this Macy's when I needed help. This is a little hard to find at the other Macy's in the Sacramento area now! Parking is much easier compared to before the pandemic, especially if you're looking for a parking space in the second level of the parking garage. It has a bridge connecting to the Macy's store as well. Very safe and convenient! read more

This is the third time I purchased a couch from Macy's and although they do have a great selection and wonderful products, I was really bent out of shape when I found the following week. My items had gone on sale. My cell person said that they found me $400 and refund which they never applied to my account I contacted them back. They said that they couldn't do it. They said that they would put 130 and that never happened either, disappointing nonetheless to be told that they did find savings to let you be strung out for two weeks only to be told that the savings was less than half of what they had originally quoted. Grace at customer service was probably thee most amazing associate I've ever came across at a customer service desk. We had received gifts in the mail doe Hanukkah and my husband accidentally left the receipt at home. This soon to be momma went above and beyond for customer service and took the time to help us find the transactions and patiently helped us while my MIL in Texas was looking for the order numbers. On March 26, 2018, after a disastrous, formal-fitting appointment at David's Bridal, I drove to Macy's, and began searching for two formal outfits for my daughter's two weddings happening in 2018. Ms. Gail assisted me by finding "age-appropriate" formal outfits: I need one formal attire for fall, NorCal weather-approximating, 77-degrees Fahrenheit and one formal attire for bitterly, freezing weather, approximating 33-degrees Fahrenheit; extreme opposite weather conditions for two weddings, same couple, different venues . . . OY-EVAY!!!! Plus, I had to buy walking shoes from Sole Desire yesterday so, I can wear the dress shoes for both formal attire; more importantly, it's imperative having the formal attire hemmed to the length of the formal attire adjusting for height of the shoe heels so, the formal attire won't be dragging on the ground . . . I hope what I'm conveying makes sense. Anyway, Ms. Gail didn't have in stock the formal attire styles required for my body type so, I'll return after the spring, formal attire arrives in mid-April 2018; hopefully, the incoming inventory will have more appropriate styles I'll require. What happened to Macy's? I'm in my 50's and when I was a kid, next to Nordstrom, Macy's was a high class department store. How far they have fallen. I'm here in Roseville at 11:30am on a Sunday. The store opened 30 minutes ago and it's an absolute mess in the men's department. This tells me that Macy's isn't cleaning up and merchandising their stores from the day before. All the displays of folded stacked clothes are messed up. Hanging clothes on the ground. It's completely disorganized. You can't find your size. Not much clothing on the racks. I don't want to shop in this type of disorganized environment so I'm leaving. Macy's management is lacking. They obviously don't staff their stores with enough help so subsequently they can't be merchandise properly. It's a domino effect that turns customers off and forces them to go elsewhere. Yess!!! Macy's FTW (For The Win), Again!! After countless stops and hours of shopping, we found daughter's prom dress here. The selection is still pretty decent, I'm sure there was a lot more last week! With prom being the first weekend in April, we needed to find a dress quick! Sooner, the better! With that being said, get here soon or the selections will be slim to none. Sure, we went to several bridal shops and boutiques, but what those places don't allow, is to return or exchange a dress. Being a parent, you like having that assurance you can exchange or return, because with teens, things can change at a moments notice! Christina, our cashier was ever so helpful! Although, I have a Macy's account, I told her I didn't want to use it. When she was giving me the final estimate, she tells us, "Wanna see magic?" I didn't know what she meant as I watched her wiggle her nose (like Samantha on Bewitched) and she knocked off another twenty percent off our total. I was supposed to have a coupon but she let me have it anyway! Cool! I've shopped here before and I've never had an associate do that, reason being, I didn't have my coupon!
