Then we went to Men's section cuz I wanted to see what they had to offer. Upon walking into the area, I saw 2 ladies gossiping about work drama, I politely said 'hello' and they both glared at me and said 'hello' then went back to their conversation. Never once asked me if I needed help, or was looking for something in particular. Needless to say, we walked out immediately. They did not bring any value of customer service to the table! I'm going to the Coach store at the mall before I ever go back into that store again! read more

If you like Coach and luv discounts, well then come on into the Coach outlet in Vacaville, CA. The shop has purses, wallets, sunglasses, jewelry, shoes, and menswear. But the majority of inventory are purses and women's wallets. The pebble leather purses were 1/3 of the retail price. They have a couple of "greeters" at the door. Not sure if they are greeters or security, or possibly both. Either way, they greeted folks as they entered. They have staff that walk about providing sincere assistance without the obtrusive lurking about. The store is laid out well with roomy aisles. But the shelving is showing its years. 03.21.2026 - COACH OUTLET - FOLSOM, CA - I mainly came in here to see if they had men's wallets. I noticed my boyfriend's wallet was wearing out and I planned to replace it. He likes simple black and i believe his current one just looks like its been drowned in water for years. I got him a leather looking one in brown and it looked classy and beautiful. Its very stylish and I think it will look great in his pocket. Maybe he needs a variety of different wallets so he doesnt have to wear out just one. I know some men don't care of this but I think if you switch it up sometimes, you dont have to wear it all out. Even out the wear and tear. My recent travels have taken me near a few shopping outlets, and who doesn't like a great deal or bargain?!? This outing took me out to Folsom, and I decided to pop into a few stores to see what items I might not need, but needed to have. I popped into the Coach store. It's been eons since I've been to this particular store at this particular location. I recall the store being somewhere else in the shopping center, and definitely a much different footprint. This store has a men's section, a pseudo discount section and then the regular section with Price is marked down to whatever their daily special is. I was always under the impression that outlet stores, especially coach only carried items that were discounted and during some particular sales would be discounted even more. Usually their regular store items don't make it into the outlet stores. Interestingly, enough, when regular store items do appear at the outlet . The prices are not discounted or marked out or eligible for any of the sales. The sales staff was super helpful and very friendly. I'm picking up a few gifts for a friends upcoming birthday, and they allowed me the luxury of selecting between a couple of different similar items and picking out the one that I thought was the best. Even when I checked out, they were happy to provide me with some basic wrapping! This location is fairly well stocked, and offered a decent variety of items. Price point is what I expected. Nothing spectacular, but worth checking out. Great free parking, tons of other stores to browse and shop in the center. read more

I stood at the sales counter for a few minutes while the 2 employees at the end of the counter finished their personal conversation, without acknowledging me. When one decided to assist me, there was no warm greeting. As I needed to exchange something, the additional assistant came to the counter and gave a very obvious head to toe assessment of my appearance. Given that I was in a BTS Arirang tour shirt and casual lounge pants, it appears I must have been found lacking. Some very quiet comments were made to the initial rep and the manager was called. Although the transaction was completed, the service was beyond lacking. It reminded me of a Pretty Woman moment. I have not experienced this behavior in any other Coach store, regardless of my attire. This is not a store I would return to. read more

I've been a client of Coach for many years. I usually visit the Coach Outlet in Gilroy, but yesterday I decided to visit this location with my family since we were traveling nearby. I came here specifically for the new Tabby 20 purse. The service was not good at all. It was only until I had to walk up to one of the members to tell her I wanted to purchase it that she finally helped me, and of course she made it known to say her name so I could tell the lady at the register who "assisted" me. I was the only one in line at the register and the lady who checked me out was so rude. I spent $400+ and she didn't even include the dust bag, she just threw my brand new bag into a small brown bag. I didn't even realize until after I left. I don't recommend this location unless you're white or dress like you have money, then maybe the service might be better. However, if you're young and aren't white then you might just be profiled and treated poorly. Save your time and go to the one in Gilroy or Livermore instead. I do want to add the ethnic lady (I forgot her name) in the men's section was much nicer and attentive. She was the only one who walked up to us and recommended wallets and showed us the new ones. read more

The Coach Outlet in Folsom looks pretty, and the salespersons here are more attentive and polite than other Coach outlet locations. I received a lovely greeting when I walked into the store. Several salespeople in the different sections offer assistance when I stop to check out something. They provided an excellent service. The store is beautiful and carries many Coach products in all departments at better prices than the retail prices. This store is a little less crowded than most of the other Coach outlet stores. From the moment we entered the Coach store to the moment we left, the entire experience was truly wonderful. The staff created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The very kind lady who greeted us--I believe her name was Wilamina (apologies if I got that wrong!)--was so sweet and thoughtful, setting such a positive tone for our visit. The sales representative who checked us out was equally amazing: kind, engaging, and genuinely attentive, which made the whole shopping experience even more enjoyable. My last experience was nothing like today and I'm thankful for today's experience.I walked in and I started looking at shoes. Shortly after Veronica came over and conversed a bit and she checked in on me a few times. She was so sweet and very helpful my whole shopping experience. I came in to return (hoping to exchange) a pair of boots that I ordered from online. There were 4-5 sales rep around the front door. There was an elder customer that was in fancy clothes shopping. One of the sales rep was definitely helping her out. I received no welcoming greetings and I continued to walk around the store. I was hoping to maybe exchange my pair of boots for another item. I looked at the shoes, no one approached to chat about my item that I have because you can clearly see that I walked in trying to return something. I tried a pair of loafer but it just wasn't working out. As I am trying the pair of shoes on, I can see that the 4-5 sales rep are huddled in a group just chit chat and looking at the other customers in the store. After noticing this, I decided that I don't want to try any more items on as you can clearly see that they're not interested in helping you. Why bother spending the money in the store? I went ahead to the cash register to return my boots. The cashier communicated that the item has been returned. I was confused as she didn't provide me any details and I don't have a return receipt confirming that the item was returned so I asked her for a receipt. This is when she communicated that I'll be receiving an email confirmation for my returned item and they don't provide a confirmation receipt for online orders. That's fine but at least explain that to the customers. Like, you just want to provide any details? And especially if I have never returned an online order to the store before. No wonder people don't buy stuff at stores anymore. The customer service stinks and the people at the stores don't seem like they want to help. read more

Yesterday was my daughter's 14th Birthday and she wanted to go shopping at Coach to pick out her gift. We were traveling to FOLSOM, CA from the RENO, NV area - about 125 miles, to go Birthday shopping at Coach. Due to #COVID19, Coach was closed to the public, only allowing curbside pick-up or FaceTime shopping and they bring it to the door. We told them it was my daughter's Birthday and they went above and beyond to help us and took the time needed to find just what my girl wanted. Veronica @ Coach was AMAZING!!! Today I took my boyfriend with me to help me search for MY 21ST BIRTHDAY bag . When I walked in , I wasn't even greeted . The lady at the front room didn't say a word to either of us . Then as we're taking our last look to confirm what I wanted [making sure it would go perfect with my outfit] she calls a lady over her "walkie-talkie" to come to the front "immediately", insinuating that him and I were stealing . I handed her my bag to put back where it belonged where she responded "how am I supposed to know where this goes ? It wasn't from this room" Well Karen , figure it the fuck out . Absolutely crazy! It made him and I so uncomfortable! Profiling AT ITS FINEST! If you are of any color (OTHER THAN WHITE, BECAUSE SHE OBVIOUSLY THINKS ONLY BLACK PEOPLE "SHOPLIFT") do not come to this store. I love shopping and this place tops my list of places to shop for coach bags. The first thing I realize when i walk in is that everything is always on sale here which always makes it even easier to justify spending my hard earned dollars. It's not 20 % off either. It's always 70% followed by an extra 20%. So you know your getting a decent price. All of the sales associates here are always so nice and helpful and friendly here. They are great conversation as well. The bags themselves are quality. All of the products are made in italy. I put my handbags through a lot of wear and tear so I deffinatly need something that will hold up through the abuse I put my handbags through also something my cat can hop into and go for a stroll in from time to time. read more

I came here looking for a small hands free backpack bag. My thoughts were that since it's the beginning of the school year I'd have a better chance of finding this item. I couldn't find my backpack bag, however, I ended up buying a sweet cross body purse. It's called the Hadley field bag and it was on sale for $189... Which I think is a lot of money for such a small purse. But guess what? Everything is on sale 50% off today on top of the sale price :-) :-) :-) The customer service is awesome at the Folsom Coach store. He insisted we exit the back door instead of the front door where we came in. We shopped a lot and we have a handicapped companion. I did not want to come to this review but my granddaughter insisted I leave a review. I came in on October 26th, 2024 and I was looking for a bag. My granddaughter was helping me. I asked a lady there for assistance. She was helping me but she smelled like alcohol. She was slurring her words and she kept touching her head. She said her name was Stephanie. I did not get anything because I did not find what I was looking for but my granddaughter said she over her telling a lady there with long black hair and glasses that she was hung over. My granddaughter felt this is unacceptable and I should ask for a manager. I called later that night and spoke to a lady whose name I cannot recall and I asked for the store manager. I was informed she was not in. She did offer to help me but I just wanted to speak to the store manager. I am going away on a trip so I will try to call back when I return. Had 3 different sales people approach me and asked if I needed help. Granted, I went on a weekday close to closing, so of course they had more time to help me. I got suggestions after I asked one of the girls a question, and they were all very helpful, friendly, and genuine. I've also been here when the place was a madhouse. My advice if you really want to feel acknowledged and helped by the staff is to go during slow hours like early when they open on weekdays or close to when the store closes at 9PM. But by all means if you want to blend in with the crowd of purse-hungry women, go on weekends when it will be packed. Lots of cute purses. Prices are obviously more affordable than Coach boutiques. I've purchased a cute clutch here that I use as a makeup bag and if I'm going out at night, it's perfect for clubs and/or a nice dinner without carrying around my huge Coach satchel. read more

I've been a coach lover for as long as I can remember. My daughter and I drove here from Clovis for a mother and daughter date and stopped by here to treat ourselves. Once enter, none of the ladies dared to acknowledge us or even looked our way. As we walked out with our bags we got death stares. I'm glad we're never coming back. I've been to this place about two times and have bought a few things, there's a decent selection for men considering 98% of the store is geared towards women. I have interacted with a few of the employees here and had a longish conversation with of them on my first visit. They all have been very friendly and nice. When I walked in they greeted me and a few even remembered me, I didn't even say anything they just said "hey I remember you!" and we talked. Very pleased with our first visit to this outlet location! We are from Reno and this is the closest physical location to show outlet. Bee was super helpful in helping us find what we were looking for! I got the super cute coach collar and leash for my chihuahua and the small was slightly to small (but large would've been way to big) and Veronica who was our cashier offered to have a hole punched in the small collar so it would fit! I'm not one to spend too much money on a purse as I see better things to do than to just want to advertise for any company because they have their print on everything and be the one to pay a ridiculous amount for it. I have to say though that with coach its not just about having an expensive purse, its about having a purse that will last what feels like forever so you end up getting what you pay for and that's not bad at all.. Coach is normally excellent quality but here at the outlet some of the materials don't look as good as the ones used for regular priced purses elsewhere. Lots of jammed zippers and what seemed like pleather. Not all of it looks cheap but to my surprise, lots did. There is always a sale going on in here and you can most likely score and get anything in there half off. Great deal! The ladies working there are nice and pretty helpful. read more

I have not had a Coach purse until now. I did not understand the hoopla over expensive purses. Now I'm a pod person, God help me. The leather is supple like buttah. The construction is solid. The lining is soft. A $358 retail value satchel went down 65% to $125 + tax. Lucy was helpful and the staff did not mind that I opened, pranced and pried many purses while in the store. Although I would have appreciated a wider variety, my honey was kind enough to give me an early Three Kings Day present and initiate me into the Coach sisterhood. Seems like Coach is giving stuff away these days. Came here to buy some gifts, and the greeter by the door handed me a 50% off coupon! Granted, the quality of their leather has really gone down over the years, but I still go in every once in a while if I need to buy a gift. There were scratches on the wallets I picked out. One of the employees put leather conditioner on a rag and worked the scratches out. He examined the wallets and did a meticulous job, which I really appreciated. One star for that, but I was there on a Wednesday night, so I am not sure if the salespeople would have spent the time to do that on a busy weekend. While I was browsing, a guy (the manager?) came into the room and rudely said to his employees, "You guys better get me at least $3000 more in sales by the end of this week." That kind of statement should have been made during an employee meeting. It was totally inappropriate to say that in the middle of the sales floor in front of customers, especially in that tone of voice. Shortly after that announcement, he saw the four men's wallets I was holding, gave me a huge fake grin, and became "friendly." Where were you when I needed help, sir? So fake. Corporate, if you're reading this, this happened on June 18, 2013 at approximately 7:00 p.m. You may want to retrain this employee. Other than the manager guy, the three other employees who helped me were nice. The selection was just okay. Lots of gaudy stuff. What happened to the plain, classic, well made pieces? Honestly, I hardly ever write reviews but I'll write one for this place . I hate coming to this location but I'll come here occasionally to shop for my mom when I wanna buy her a gift . Unfortunately vacaville is too far . EVERY single time I come here, not even one person would greet me, help me, or tell me about the deals . But the next, older person who walks through that door, RIGHT after me, gets the whole shabang ! What is there NOT to love about an outlet store? I cannot think of ANYTHING (shopping wise) that is more of an adventure than outlet shopping. So far, the Coach outlet is one awesome place. They are always handing out coupons, sometimes it's 20%, sometimes it's 30%, and you can stack that against the clearance prices. Hello!! =) A lot of the items they carry are really cute, and some that are not so cute. Most items are not from the current season. Unfortunately, most of the purses tend have the logo all over, which I'm not as fond of as I used to be. The ladies and gentlemen who work there are all nice and helpful. There is really none of the usual salesman pressure feeling at the outlet versus the retail store. They have boxes and tissue paper for items that re gifts, however, the boxes aren't the standard ones you'd get at the retail stores. The boxes kinda give away where you bought it, which is a bummer, but all the Coach outlet stores use these boxes. read more
