It's a small store. The one at the Arden mall is bigger and has more variety. The small store at the galleria has Harry Potter merchandise, Disney merchandise, and other popular items. They always seem to have a long line to get in. They are located at a corner, next to Daiso, near the food court. read more

This is my favorite Hot Topic location! Maybe because it's located in the Galleria so I feel fancier buying my toys... Actually, it's because the staff are awesome. They are so patient and helpful whenever I'm there. I collect Funko Pops and they're always located on shelves from eye-level to ceiling. Not only that, they stack Funkos upon Funkos on these shelves. I'm usually a pain-in-the-butt because I'm THAT customer asking if they can look for a specific Funko. They usually have to climb on a ladder and move the boxes like the game Tetris. They will even look at their database to see if the one I want is available too. Multiple staff members have done this when there have been other customers in-house. I really appreciate the customer service this store has. They always go above and beyond. read more

Hot Topic is great for finding cute t-shirts, backpacks, jackets, etc. in your favorite music/movie/gaming theme. The staff is always nice, super helpful, and can help you find special deals or coupons for your purchases. However, the prices can get very expensive if you miss the sales or Black Friday. The store can get loud and crowded on occasion, because it's a very popular store for teenagers/college students. Because there's a lot of people coming in and out, the T-shirt collection can get messy/hard to dig through. Overall, I enjoy going to Hot Topic, especially when there's a sale going on. I highly recommend signing up your email during your first purchase, because you can get information on new merch, sales, and exclusive coupon savings. I recommend Hot Topic for teens/college students. read more

I went into this store on a Saturday and naturally it was packed. However three different employees took the time to tell me that it was "Buy one, get one half off" and to ask if I needed help. It was hard navigating though the store because there were racks everywhere. This particular Hot Topic is in a small space, so full of racks and merchandise it is already hard to get through even without a huge amount of people in the store. I got two t-shirts for the price of one and had a good time looking through the store. If you are looking for graphic tees check this store out, you will find something. I'm going to share this story from an experience I had at lush. Hot Topic Employees rock! So My family and I just came from the Lush store at the Roseville Galleria in Roseville, CA. We come here often as my daughter is loves your products and is a vegan and a huge animal rights advocate. Well today our son is was with us, he has special needs and at times requires a wheelchair. MY wife, son, and I all go in together. I can not maneuver around the store because, to be honest, it is not very wheelchair accessible. So I decide to hand my wife my credit card and told her we would wait outside as she shopped for our daughter. Shortly after, my wife comes out and said she needs her ID to pay, as her purse is hanging on the wheelchair. She goes back in, and comes right out again, telling me I needed to go pay for it because it is my card. So here I go in, as she waits outside with my son, I'm a little frustrated, yet I understand why they would need to see me and my ID. I go up to the register to pay and I tell the cashier, "Man, what a pain." She then tells me,"I'm sorry, but at least your wife is getting her steps in today." I then inform her, "I have a son with special needs and this store is not very wheelchair accessible." To which I got no response. Now, i am not upset about having to go in myself to make the purchase, but I am upset that the young cashier felt she could make those comments without knowing what a person or family is going through; Also the fact that your store is not very wheelchair accessible is a problem too. I know it is the Holiday Season, and people tend to be in a rush and are very busy, but we had just come from Hot Topic, and the employees were kindly moving fixtures so that we could get by with the wheelchair. I mean, talk about not judging a book by its cover, because those kids at Hot Topic were amazing! I just feel like your employees can learn a lot from the employees at Hot Topic, especially Employee 1994277 (that is what it says on our receipt) read more

I tired to get an item in store and due to not having any stock was forced order it online.....I has been the worst order process of any company I have ever ordered from. It was taking so long, I tired to cancel the order and was told that it was already shipped. This was not true and was clearly not shipped until days later. Then when it finally did ship it states it would be close to 10 more days to receive. I will never do business or order from HOT TOPIC again due to poor customer support and lack of details provided to me as a customer. I want a REFUND!!!!! for this order and do not even care about the item in question nor do I want to keep any items from your company due to this lack of customer services. POOR JOB and as a company you need to strive to get better if you want to stay in business. Please reach out to me if you would like to discuss how this could be resolved to make me happy. Whoever the manager was today (8/20/17) around 1pm was a buffoon. She was extremely rude and practically accused us of stealing from their store. As my friends were checking out, she forced me to show her everything I touched in the store to make sure I put it back. She followed us around the store the whole time we we're in there and made us extremely uncomfortable. We will never be returning to this location again. Great novelty store! The place is small and very loud but has a lot of merchandise to keep you occupied especially around Halloween! Just left the store. First time coming to this location. No one greeted me or my friend even wheb we walked twice by the registers. The two girls on shift were too busy talking about, "that one bitchy friend. Yeah, she's such a bitch." I was here shopping with my sister and found a pair of earrings I liked so I picked them up to purchase. An employee offered to hold the earrings at the front for me while my sister and I continued to shop. My sister and I were looking around when the employee approached me and asked where the other earrings were. I pointed her to the display because that's what I thought she was looking for. Then she said "no, I want to know where the earrings from these two packs are" I suddenly realized she was implying that I had taken one earring from each pack and pocketed them. I told her I didn't know where the missing earrings were, I turned my pockets inside out and opened my purse, inviting her to search for the earrings in question because I had nothing to hide. She got very defensive and said "look you can either return the earrings or we can call security and call your parents" I laughed, and told her that I am 23 years old and she could call my parents if she wanted but i didn't think they'd have much to say about it. She said "I have 30 year olds in here stealing". I asked her if she called their parents too. I again told her I had no idea where the earrings were and invited her to search my purse. She finally backed off; however, she did not offer any kind of apology. Then she told me I didn't have to buy the earrings. Well, I bought them because I wanted them, not because I felt obligated to in any way. I asked to talk to the manager and she told me she was the manager. I asked for a corporate phone number and left a message with a man who I never heard back from. I have never been treated so poorly at a business in my life. read more
