    I don't fish and can't remember the last time I camped. I have never purchased anything here but my boyfriend shops here quite a bit. He fly fishes and recently started tying his own flies. I usually tag along when he goes to Orvis. I have never experienced customer service as superb as this. You can tell how much the staff members love their jobs. They are willing to sit and talk about fly fishing for long periods of time. They give good advice on equipment, technique and locations. Instead of trying to sell the highest priced item they recommend the item that is most suited for the individual customer. The last time we were there, the staff told us to come in any time to ask for fly-tying tips. I don't even fly fish but I am always blown away by my experiences there.

    Orvis Danner Ultra lights!

    If you haven't checked out Orvis in The Fountains in Roseville you need to! I ordered a pair of the Orvis Danner Ultra Lights from them and they are Amazing! This store is a hidden Gem with a great friendly staff that can help you whether you are a beginner or pro! Fishing, Hunting, or anything Outdoors!! Check them out!!

I've had the privilege to shop throughout the country and overseas. Today was by far the worst customer service I've experienced. First & foremost, I planned on purchasing brand new cologne. I walk into the store and immediately say, "Hello Ma'am how are you today." I get simple response of "Fine." As I proceeded to check out all the cologne on display, I didn't find a cologne strip or parchment to spray any of the colognes. There was no sincere gesture, suggestion, or recommendation. I literally stood there like I was staring at the back wall with no representative in front of me. At this point, I grabbed the new line of Hugo Boss and sprayed the inside of my forearm. I was ready to purchase the item, however since the rep did nothing to entice the purchase or ask whether I liked the product, I put down the bottle. At this moment, the rep turned to her coworker and started having a side conversation. I want to thank you for showing your true colors today. The young ladies were so nice and the guy was nice. It's just her That judges people for doing anything. Even buying.

Upon arrival, I was greeted immediately, as he was helping another customer. I found the shoe on display and checked the price - gulp. I told him I'd be right back. Ran over to the large higher end department store in the mall, found an Italian made shoe of the same type for 30% less. When staff brought it out, the toe of the shoe was uneven with a texture like orange peel or goose bumps on the toe. I asked to see another pair, but it was very crowded and he didn't have time. I decided to spend the extra. Upon returning and being fitted by Dylan, in close examination of the shoe, I saw a slight texture similar to what was on the less expensive shoe. In rechecking the display model, I saw it also had a similar slight texture. These are highly polished shoes, but I've never owed a pair, so I don't know if this is typical. I specifically wanted patent leather, rather than a man-made or plastic upper. Dylan was very patient and customer service focused. I decided to purchase the shoes and he offered to lace and polish them, which I appreciated and accepted. He was very thorough in the sales process: offering shoe trees, socks, etc. Excellent service all the way around.

Granted lines were long with the post Christmas shopping. However, they didn't have a way of managing it and it ended up with a whole lot of really frustrated customers. I knew what I wanted when I walked into the store. I picked up a pair of pants and walked up to the register. I was third in line. There were two registers going. There was a longer line at the other register; I picked the shorter one. By the time they finished the person at the front of my line, they were probably 10 people behind me and an equal number at the other register. What did the cashier do when it's my turn? She calls for the person in the other line. That person then told me that there was only one line when she got in line. What?! We had all been standing there for at least 20 minutes. If there was only one line, they were 20 people who were never told that by anybody. This is not OK. I know a bunch of us, myself included, walked out of the store. It's no way to treat guests.

During my visit, my son and I were looking at a skirt on a mannequin to see if it came with built-in shorts or an underlayer. As we gently lifted the skirt to check, a manager abruptly approached us, snatched the skirt out of our hands, and said, "We don't look under there!" He didn't give us a chance to explain, and he walked away with attitude. It was unnecessarily rude and made both me and my child feel uncomfortable. Later, I returned to the counter to ask if I could exchange some underwear I had purchased just 15 minutes prior due to a sizing issue. I had bought four two-piece sets. I was aware of the no-return policy on underwear, but I still asked politely if an exception could be made given how recent the purchase was. That same manager was once again rude and dismissive, although he did eventually process the exchange. The problem wasn't the policy--it was the disrespectful and unprofessional attitude I encountered. I spent over $200 during this visit, and to be treated so poorly after making a significant purchase is unacceptable. Every customer, especially when shopping with their child, deserves to be treated with basic courtesy and respect. For reference, the manager was a skinny, light-skinned Asian male with long hair tied back . I truly hope this feedback reaches the right people and leads to better staff training on professionalism and communication.

I reached out to the customer service number and let them know that it would be a pain to drive an hour away to pick up earrings that were forgotten. ( they were $6.99. I was literally told sorry you have to go into the store we can't help you. My experience in the store was already lackluster. Makes sense that you're unable to contact the store directly. Pretty sure that's the reason why they do it this way so that people cannot call the store and complain or actually talk to someone who can assist in issues like this. I used to love H&M.
