I haven't been inside this location for a few weeks. I was surprised to see them doing a large remodel. All of the front registers and customer service are back up against the front wall. You enter a long, long walk way queue. All different little items for sale along the way. Reminds me of other stores I have been to. Last time I was in the associate at the customer service desk was having an off day. Not very friendly. Now this time on Thursday 9/12/2024 around 2 pm. It wasn't that busy..I was surprised to see the remodel going on. I was trying to figure out how to get to the front of the new line up. All I wanted to do was pay my credit card bill. I use to be able to pay online then last year they changed it. Once I found my way around the long road to the registers. There was a large ladder at the front with guys working on things. They have many registers but only about four were being used. When the cashier is ready for you they call you up to the register number they are on. I didn't wait long the associate at the first register called me over. I said I just need to pay my credit card bill..I was looking for customer service but I guess it's all one now. She said yes registers and customer service all the same spot now. Usually the cashiers let me know when they are ready for me to slide my Kohl's card. Then payment card. Maybe the system was updated also a little faster? I did the prompts my self. Then she called over another employee. I was thinking oh did I slide my payment card to soon and messed up something? Oh no the cashier that was helping me was looking at her cell phone. Then calls another lady over and says my daughter wants this..how do I find it? I am just standing there..so am I done? Did my card go through? My receipt? Finally handed me my receipt as she was looking at her cell with other cashier. I said bye have good day. Then they said it back. I thought Kohl's was more strict than that. I have worked in retail I understand. But if I have a customer standing in front of me at my register. My focus is my customer. If another employee starts talking to me while at their register with a customer in front of them. I remind them to please help and focus on their customer. We can talk after. Just one of those peeves I guess. No big deal. Just interesting how things are going. read more

After spending $186.45, I'm wondering how that happened. I went to Kohl's for two reasons: to find my mother and make a payment on my account. I didn't plan on shopping, but the peaceful atmosphere and friendly cashiers led me to spend money. The store was clean and well-lit, and customer service was excellent. I suggest giving them a try. Ps if it were not for the coupon the cashier offered me my balance would have been over $210. Thanks to Cole's cash and a percentage coupon off. I saved a little money on items I didn't need but once I saw them I wanted them. read more

We recently purchased a gift card at this location. When we arrived home and went through the cards we found one of the cards appeared to have been used. Since we bought the gift Target we took it back. Their customer service explained there was an 800 on the back of the card and we needed to call them for resolution. My review is for Kohl's online (mail order), not the Roseville store in particular. I've had the absolute worst time trying to return a table that was received broken in multiple places. I've made 8 calls, most of the time elevating to a supervisor. Today it was finally picked up after my call from yesterday. I won't be making anymore purchases at Kohl's. What a pain . read more

Not a fan of the new remodel. Not sure why they combined returns and purchases. I went in to return 1 item, thinking it would be a quick visit....but ended up having to wait in a huge line with about 15 people making purchases. Makes no sense. The old way was so much more efficient. read more

If you are ever at the Roseville location you should ask for Keri is you just need to have a better day. She is by far one of the kindest people I've ever encountered at Kohl's and was so helpful. This Kohl's is on Fairway in far out Roseville, by Target and Top Golf. Easy to find and lots of parking. I haven't been inside a Kohl's for many years, and sadly after this visit, I won't be coming back for a long time either. There was something specific that I wanted and it showed online that they had it in stock at this store. This store is about 40 minutes from our house, so I wanted to call them first and confirm before we made the drive over. I called their phone number for about 4 hours, about 10 different times. Each time, the electronic voice operator greeted me, gave me options for which department, transferred me once I made my choice, and it rang and rang and rang. EACH TIME. They never answered the phone and I was not able to crack the code to get a human being. So, unfortunately, we drove over there wasting gas and time.... Come to find that the DID NOT in fact have the item in stock as shown on their website. The employees could not care less. "I guess there is an inaccuracy on our website" The manager says "Yeah, we got a new phone system and none of the phones work now." That's it.....their phones don't work AT ALL. This is such horrible customer service that I can't almost believe it. There is nothing that tells the customer that you will never have your call answered. The store was a mess also. read more

Just moved to Roseville and went to this Kohls for the first time. It's soooo clean and such a great variety of clothes, and home merchandise. Love Sephora!!! The person working at Sephora that night, tall blonde young woman was very knowledgeable, told me about some new items that I ended up loving. I purchased a nuber of items on Kohls online and used Kohls cash. The bath rugs I received were low quality and the bath towels did not match. When I returned them to the store with my receipts, I received less than I paid for them. There was a transaction charge for each item returned. They also removed the Kohls cash from the items returned, even though I did not return everythkng I ordered. I did not see these fees/deductions in their refund section online. It was also not explained by the customer service person at the store. I spent $75 on the items and received a $45 refund. I will not be shopping at Kohls again. read more

I have to give tyler a big shout out. This young man deserves a raise. So i was looking for drinking glasses. I had found some i liked but i saw tyker and asked him if they have anymore glasses. He says he didnt think so. All of a sudden i see he had walked to an area in the store that i went over to. The kitchen section. I didnt tell him to go look to see if there were any other glasses. I was a VERY skeptical newbie to Kohl's, VERY! However, I've become a fan of this location. We buy a LOT of athletic apparel here, and it is a GO TO for gift giving. Their selection for clothes is VAST, particularly in children's clothing. My Brother has 2 little ones, and if Momma doesn't like item, or size is off, SO easy is an exchange. I've picked up a couple of tops and "kimono" that I get RAVE compliments on. I've ordered 3 items recently via Kohl's online, all items shipped to store FREE, 2 with same day pick up. In LOVE with my new cappuccino maker, living room floor lamp (with an amazing light/warm glow), and hubby's new My Pillow. Their Customer Service is impeccable, and we've YET to encounter a rude or LESS THAN FRIENDLY clerk. Love this location! Special shout out to Alex in the shoe department! I ordered 2 bras online: same size, same price, but different brands. Received kohls cash that I used when it became available on a subsequent order. When I received the bras, 1 brand didn't fit correctly. Went to the store to exchange the ill fitting brand for the brand that fit. Even though they were the same price, the store told me that the Kohl's cash I had used on my subsequent order would be pulled back unless I exchanged for the same brand. Please explain to me how that makes any sense. I'm trying to do a straight swap, just with different brands but same price so I lose my Kohl's cash? I feel like Kohl's tries to rob people every chance they get. This is not the 1st incident I've had with Kohl's, but I'm thinking this will now be my last. read more

Not sure why so many low stars for this Kohls. Why are people are saying too much Clearance!?! What too much clearance? We all want to save $$ bring it all on clearance!!! This is my go to store for shopping. I always find a good deal and name brand too! And anything over $50, I get $10 to come back and spend. The best part is I do not have to spend a dime more, free $10. Reviews are nice, but sometimes people complain about personal things. My ship-to-store experience was absolutely terrible. I had received a confirmation email, a "your order is on its way" email, and next was a cancellation email. Not only did they surpass the date threshold of when I would be able to pick up the order, but I chose to order with them instead of any other stores because of a Labor Day deal that was available and the initial impression made it seem like I would receive the order in time. I was very happy with my purchase and looked forward to picking it up, but that excitement completely disappeared and I got very upset when I finally got a cancellation email, which makes absolutely no sense that I would get an email saying my order is on its way and then I don't even get the item after waiting a long time. I love this store! Every time I shop here, they have a huge selection of whatever it is I'm looking for & the cashiers are so sweet! I was there today and the cashier made sure all the clearance items I was purchasing rang up for the reduced prices, which they all did. Then she gave me a random 20% off coupon! I live closer to the Yuba City store, but I drive to the Roseville store because it's a better selection & way better customer service! Worth the drive!!! Update: on my last visit the cashier complimented the outfit I was purchasing. I told her it was for a job interview & I was nervous about it. She gave me some helpful tips about interviewing & pumped me full of confidence before sending me on my way. I wish I knew her name. This lady has A+ customer service skills. Once upon a time in another life I used to work at this Kohl's location as a seasonal worker during the Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years holidays. Even though it wasn't in my list of top 10 jobs I've ever had, it did teach me a lot about Kohls and made me have a better understanding of why it is like it is. The checkout lines are almost always long. Unless you come super early in the morning, or super late at night, they're always going to be a line. Just please accept this fact and don't blame the cashier. It's not their fault they're always understaffed or that they're in charge of putting EVERYTHING back that the customer decides they don't want at the register. It's also not their fault that their computer systems are antiquated and only accept the most basic of functions. Yes, the store is almost always a mess. There are never enough employees working on the floor and there never will be. You want the low prices? This is the trade off. Also because of the low prices, other customers tend to treat the merchandise like crap and leave it EVERYWHERE. You have been warned. Returns are hassle free, but be prepared to wait. At least the returns line is by the bathrooms. There is ALWAYS a sale so don't forget to check your phone for coupons while in the store. Actually check your phone for coupons while in the parking lot before entering the store. Internet can be hit or miss inside. NEVER pay full price. The prices on the tags are inflated. That Marc Anthony short sleeve polo has never sold for $49.99 and never will. It is true that the best deals are for Kohl's Credit Card Holders, but do you really want that on your credit? NO. You can get pretty close with the coupons and special sales so just say "no" when they offer. It's not worth it. Lastly, yes 90% of the merchandise is made by children in foreign countries. Go for it if it makes you feel good or you want to turn a blind eye. If not, shop elsewhere and go for quality over quantity. Who needs 18 Lauren Conrad cardigans anyways? read more
