I love this store. I don't like to be bothered while I'm shopping so I don't mind that the associates are busy doing other things. When I can't find something I want they help me order it online. They are always running a sale so I don't know about $70 tank tops (comment below). I also am a cardholder so I get coupons and deals weekly. I have a couple outerwear pieces that I've had for years. They never go out of style and they are still a fantastic quality. I also find it hilarious that this lady posted about not being able to come in because she didn't have a mask on. Are you stupid? I have had this location bookmarked for quite some time now because I have been going through JCrew withdrawal ever since the JCrew store at the mall in Roseville closed. I was excited to visit this JCrew Factory Store because I like JCrew's regular clothes and had a few items to return that I purchased online from the Factory website. When I stopped in around Labor Day they were having a 50% off the entire store sale which was really cool. There were a few people in the store but plenty of employees so I was able to walk up and take care of my return easily before browsing the store. The inside of the store reminds me of your typical JCrew store because they are set up the same way. I was surprised to see so much selection in the store; almost all of the stuff I saw online was in the store and even some items that had sold out online were here. Yay! The women's section is on the left and the men's section on the right. In the middle is jewelry, scarves, belts and accessories. I will definitely stop by here again because it's easy to get to and because of the great selection I would rather come in the store to try everything on than buying online and having to return. read more

Finally, there's a J.Crew in Roseville again! This is not a regular store though, J.Crew Mercantile is a rebranding of J.Crew Factory. But marketing aside, the merchandise is still gorgeous and well made. This store sells clothing for women, men and kids (crew cuts) in addition to women's shoes and jewelry. I recently stopped by and they had a 50% off promotion. The prices are fair for the style and quality of the merchandise, and much more affordable than the regular J.Crew store. The staff at this store are very friendly and helpful...they happily answered my questions and checked for additional sizes in the back for me. I will definitely be a regular shopper...so glad they opened this store at the Fountains! read more

My shopping experience was unpleasant because of the bad customer service I received from Heather F. I asked one question at the register and she had a snarky attitude and response from the start. Her attitude during the whole transaction put me off. I left displeased and disappointed by what should have been a pleasant and simple interaction/ transaction. This store lost out on business today and all future business. I would rather spend my money elsewhere where sales associates are actually friendly and create a happy shopping experience. read more

Poor customer service. The return or exchange policy is really awful so think twice before buying. Whatever you do don't lose your receipt or gift receipt because they won't let you finish your sentence before cutting you off and they will throw their hands in the air and back away that you can't return or exchange without receipt. I get that it's a store policy but don't be rude about it, just let me know in a genuine way that I can't return or exchange it. They made me feel bad and I won't be shopping at this retail store ever again. When I get home I'm literally throwing away a brand new shirt with tags that was one size too big for me. Very poor customer service. Bought two shirts here yesterday and came back today for Black Friday. Asked for a price adjustment on my current purchase based on their sale, but they told me that not only could I not get a price adjustment, but that I wasn't allowed to return the shirts and buy them again. I feel extremely ripped off and my entire second trip to J Crew on Black Friday was worthless. Very disappointed. read more

By far the worst customer service! I would give this zero stars if it were possible. First off I bought a dress that was 2 sizes too big on accident. With the busy lifestyle we have these days I put the dress in my back seat where my child does sit near, not knowing she would be getting maybe a tiny bit of food on it. And yes I tried the dress on multiple times tryin to see if I could make it work... but never wore it because it was too baggy on me. So I figured I would be able to bring this $53.61 dress back and get a smaller size. The first lady kept asking me if there was something wrong with it over and over again and I said no. It was as just too big. Then when I went and got a smaller size of the exact same dress. The next lady (manager) at the cash register called me out in front of other customers and my child saying how there was food all over it and deodorant and next time they will not be returning anything from me if it's like that. Keep in mind I went over the dress several times making sure there wasn't anything on it. So no there wasn't food all over it. May have been something small that I missed. But honestly I thought it would be better for them to do whatever they do to take care of their clothing instead of me putting it in my washer and putting it at risk. Yes deodorant may have got in it because I tried it on several times... but don't people try on clothing at the store as well and isn't this a risk that can happen with a changing room? So with spending over $50 on a dress I expect to have the ability to return something that doesn't fit properly and not get humiliated in front of a ton of people. So don't worry I will not be returning to your store and you won't have to return anything else for me!! read more

Absolutely Unbelievable. Ordered a coat online. It didn't fit so I called to return it. I called and after waiting like 30min I was told I could go to one of their stores and return it there. I told them I'm about an hour away from the nearest store but I had to make a trip anyways. THEY GAVE ME THIS ADDRESS TO RETURN THE COAT. So called the store to confirm because I was already suspicious of the customer service on phone and saw the bad yelp reviews. I gave my order number/information again and was told "yeah sure bring it on by!" Welp I walk in a couple days later and apparently I need to take it to J Cree retail not factory.
