It's a small store, and only one in Sacramento area. Quality clothes, especially suits. If you like quality & willing to spend $$$, this place is for you. I do not like to wear their casual shoes, bough few pairs & their ventilation is very poor, feet are always sweaty. I love their dress shirts, dress shoes, and polo t-shirts & yes their suits.

This positive review is just for the assistance that the staff member, Ryan provided me today. He…read morewas very kind and did his best to help with my return. He ended up getting it all completed perfectly and was able to get the same discount I had for the new pair I ordered. I will say, everything from my last review still rings true. Management here is super rude and they talk down to their employees and customers. If they could be more personable and kind like Ryan, I think customers would be more pleased with their shopping experience.

Extremely disappointing experience -- I will never shop at DSW again…read more I am extremely upset and disappointed with my experience at this DSW location. I purchased my son a pair of shoes for back-to-school just three weeks ago, and within less than two weeks of normal wear, the shoes were completely shredded and falling apart. These were clearly defective shoes, not simply shoes that had been worn out over a long period of time. My husband and I went into the store right when they opened to see if we could exchange them for a different pair or receive a refund. We had the original box and proof of purchase with us. When we got to the counter, the older brunette employee looked at the shoes, gave me a dirty look, tossed them back into the box, and said, "We don't take worn shoes back." I understand that stores have policies regarding worn merchandise. However, my issue was that these shoes were purchased only three weeks ago and had fallen apart in less than two weeks because they were defective. I explained that to her and asked to speak with a manager. The manager was standing right there and was already being extremely rude on the phone with another customer. The cashier even said, "My manager is right here, and she is a very big stickler for the policy." At that point, I said I would wait to speak with her because I understood that determining whether a shoe is defective was up to management's discretion. Unfortunately, the manager didn't even properly examine the shoes. She immediately told me, "You don't have a receipt, and it's been worn. I'm not doing anything." I explained that I had proof of purchase and that the shoes were defective. She cut me off and repeated, "No, it's been worn. I won't do anything," while rolling her eyes. The entire interaction was rude, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. I wasn't asking for something unreasonable--I was asking for help with a pair of shoes that had literally fallen apart after less than two weeks. What is especially frustrating is that we came in first thing in the morning, had the original box, had proof of purchase, and were simply trying to resolve an obvious quality issue. Instead of even looking at the shoes or trying to help, we were treated like we were trying to return something we had intentionally ruined. I will not be shopping at DSW again, and I would caution others to think twice before purchasing shoes here, especially for children who wear their shoes every day. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don't expect much help from this location.

Large selection of sought over sneakers. Very colorful setup which is very eye catching. But after…read morelooking at the prices though, the shoes are very over priced. My son and I who are/were; are (him) and were (myself) into sneakers at one point in time. We know about the average retail price for many of the shows in their collection. And most if not all are at the top end of the market value; if not above asking price. You're basically paying for convenience here, which is fine for some. But not at the expense of paying $100-200 over asking prices online in my opinion. They definitely have a large selection I will say of Jordan's, which was an entire wall in itself. Along with some Yeezy's, popular New Balances, and Adidas. Plus some popular street apparel like Supreme and A Bathing Ape...but that seemed over priced as well. It also seemed like that sales reps probably get paid on commission based on how "helpful" they were trying to be. We didn't go in with any shoes in mind and were just interested in seeing what their selection looked like. Since we've never been in the store before. They were trying to show us all types of shoes based on our outward comments to each other, but we were just conversing about what we saw. But my son kept being asked if he wanted to see this sneaker or that sneaker in his size and he was like no. Or they kept trying to show him another sneaker he never showed an interest in, merely based on its brand. And most likely it not being in the other shoes stores in the mall.

I don't know if I just missed it or was there no parking spaces close to the entrance. I would…read morethink a place like this for people who have foot issues that a close parking spot would be a real need. We asked a ways off near Pet Food Express and it would have been a bit of a walk for someone with a cane or a walker. I always thought of these type of shoes stores are for the geriatric people, but as I get older I'm more drawn to these types of shoe stores. I had a case of planter fasciitis so I'm extra careful of the shoes I wear these days. I'm now drawn to orthopedic shoes, and shoes with arch support. I wasn't really paying attention, but according to my husband the whole shoe store had only women's shoes that we could see. They had some nice shoes on sale, but they were still really pricy, all around the $100 mark. I did find 2 pairs that looked like the ones I have at home, but different colors. They are nice, but you can feel every pebble you walk over so in the end they really aren't hat comfortable. I found another pair that I liked and that were summery, but for the price I really didn't need just another pair of shoes. I was in the need of sandal so I perused the sandal selection. I haven't had cute sandals in years. I have functional hiking/water type shoes, The heavy duty type Teva and Keens, both great for hiking and water activities, but definitely not cute or sexy sandals. Now a days I need comfortable shoes for my old feet so it's hard to find something that will work for me. I picked up a pair of BIza sandals. I'm really hoping and crossing all my fingers and toes that they will be comfortable not just sitting around, but also walking. And that is the type of stores they have in the Fountains. I did se my older aunt wearing them so I'm hoping they aren't too old lady like. I want to still look young and fun even those I'm also getting up there in age.

I wanted to buy a pair of Taos identical to the ones I had in in the same size (they fit great and I've had them for almost a year), but a different color. The saleswoman tried to tell me the manufacturer of the shoes I had on didn't make wide widths (what I had on) and proceeded to try to push a pair of the same shoes, but a full size bigger because that is all they had in stock. Her pushiness and incorrect information were a complete turn off. So, I left the store and ordered the pair online in a wide from a different store.
