This was confusing, considering my credit card had already been charged. What made the situation worse was what came next: I was told that in order to process the return, the store would need to scan my California ID -- not just look at it, but scan it into their system. This is deeply concerning. In California, scanning a government ID is not legal unless the practice is clearly disclosed and the purpose is explicitly stated, typically for fraud prevention in limited situations. That was not the case here. No disclosure, no explanation, just "this is the only way we can do the return." There is also no logical reason for this request. My ID is not tied to my online purchase, it is not "in their system," and there is no matching function taking place. If the transaction truly hadn't posted yet, scanning my ID would not solve that issue -- so why collect that data at all? Between the system excuse that doesn't align with the credit card charge and the insistence on scanning my ID without transparency, this experience felt unnecessary, invasive, and poorly handled. I expect better from a brand that positions itself as premium and customer-centric. I left without completing the return and with serious concerns about Lululemon's in-store practices around customer data and privacy.

On my most recent visit, multiple employees offered their assistance (either with finding something or offering to hold my purchases at the front so I wouldn't have to carry them as I shopped). Although not the closest to me in proximity, my favorite Lululemon in my general area.

Bought this hat for my son and he had it so we went in with our receipt within 14 days and they said no returns. They give every item a sale price then increase all items after Christmas so if you return it you have to spend more money to get your item exchanged. The fat guy with the beard was trying to fight me over it.

The seamstress, Sharon, came out upon my request to make sure the jacket fit right, and gave excellent advice on other alterations I may need in the future. Sharon was so awesome, and sweet. Staff were so helpful, and would actually help search for an item I'm asking for. It doesn't matter where it might be in the store. They take the time to find what you need. Today, Jaleh and Berbel were both very helpful. Their assistance is so appreciated. Fale, in the shoe department was also very helpful, and knew which shoes to bring to me, that I needed for a special event. He listened intently as I described the clothing I needed to match, and made it so easy for me to purchase a couple of pairs. Christine, in cosmetics, is awesome too. She is so helpful in selecting the skin care products I needed,especially while I am dealing with health issues that have affected my skin. Even if it's not in the line she works with, she'll find what works best for me. I have not found any other store that comes close to the customer care I've found at Nordstrom's.

I could hear consultations happening in the fitting rooms from staff that sounded knowledgeable & friendly. I wanted to try a certain brand that they sell here. The department was nicely organized. I was approached by Alyanna who offered assistance. She retrieved my size from the stock room when I couldn't find it on the racks. She also set me up with a fitting room & checked on me to see how it was going. She rang me up & wrapped my purchases nicely. She was very personable & helpful the whole time without feeling pushy or intrusive.
