While we would love to see Target Corporation renew its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, I generally appreciate the customer service at this location. Today, we noticed a woman standing near the exit with her cart of purchased goods. Even after about 30 minutes, she remained there, looking uncomfortable. We stopped to check on her and learned that she was waiting for a ride and needed to sit down. I approached the manager at Guest Services, who responded quickly and thoughtfully by finding a makeshift seat for her. I truly appreciated the care and responsiveness. That said, I wish Target provided seating for situations like this--offering a simple bench near the exit could make a big difference for guests who need to wait. read more

Outstanding target in a great neighborhood - this one is closest to my friends house and it makes one realize why he moved away from the bay area in the first place. At the Target nearest to my place everything is locked up - I mean everything. Here I don't think anything is under lock and key. The food aisle was what brought us in and it was good enough that you could get away with not having to go to a traditional grocery store if necessary. I liked best this cookie - it was the Target dog with the eye red. Very cute. You had to buy the whole bucket of cookies - but if it was a loose single one I'd have loved to buy. I think I will go back closer to Christmas for one of these for my cookie platter - that I like looking a certain way. Taylor Swift's music CD was at the entrance. Shes wildly popular. Your only allowed to buy 4 a person - got to save some for others you Swifties you. read more

7/1/26 I walked into the Target store around 9:55pm thinking the closes at 11:00 pm, as two employees were standing at the front entrance they were talking and laughing and didn't tell me they were closing. I walked all the way back to the home goods department which is in the far back of the store. Then an employee tells me "Sir you have to leave" the store is closing, I told her I just walked all the way back here, and I was right where the fan I was looking, I asked if she could help me, and I get "Sir you have to leave" then she called another employee like I'm a bad guy? I'm 71 have a bad leg, and she couldn't help me instead they both laughed at me like it was a big joke. I told the manager of the store what happened and she brushed it off like it was no big deal. I really don't like being laughed at and disrespected. Horrible customer service, I'll never go back to Target again!!! read more

I prefer the Fairway drive location but this one is closer. I hate that they have things locked up; the few times I've waited for someone they've been less than friendly about helping. It's usually clean though and safe feeling, security is quick to move panhandlers along. read more

I've been using the drive up option since it started and out of all the stores I've tried, Target's process is the best. Always gets my order right, rarely do I have to wait more than a couple minutes, and everyone is always so friendly. Special shout out to Chris V who is always careful loading my bags into the car, and super positive and polite every time. I disagree strongly with Target's corporate backtracking on DEI, so it's only because of the local employees' great customer service that I keep shopping there. They put hours on the fitting rooms. Open only 7 or 8am to 7pm. Kinda ridiculous. So you're going to miss out on sales because people can't try something on? I saw a pregnant woman get turned away from trying on clothes at 7:10 so I went to customer service where they told me the hours and said it was because kids keep staying and hanging out back there. I think that does suck but can't you just keep someone back there watching the area or something why do the adults have to suffer? Due to the inconvenience I asked if I could hold my clothes until tomorrow to try them on and this not allowed. On a side note it's funny because the young man who told me this happened to have his manager walk by and he said she doesn't allow it. So I asked her why because the fitting rooms are closedand she had no idea they put hours on the fitting rooms haha. I'll just go to a better target I guess or won't go at all smh read more

After visiting a location in the Rancho Cordova area that is awful and walking right out I came to the location in Roseville which is clean and safe. I was able to find Q-tips Made in the USA, Starbucks instant coffee in a can, and crackers all very easily. I'd have bought some frozen meat but they have no section for this. read more

This Target location has a bonus, drumroll please.. a Starbucks! So you know my hubby, our daughter and I are stopping in so we can grab a quick bite to eat and caffeine fix! My favorite is the fall classic, a Tall Pumpkin Spice Crème Frappuccino and Crispy Grilled Cheese on Sourdough! We've been here many times now and found everything we needed from storage tubs for clothing, cute children's shoes for our daughter, big pack of TP, multipack of Bandaids for all the boo-boos in the house and children's medicine for our little one during flu season! I'd highly recommend this location and we'll continue to come back! Anyone else addicted to Target as much as we are!? read more

Worst customer service, store is a mess, shelves empty, clothes are hideous. Roseville, get it together!

I use WIC and stopped by to pick up soy milk. When I swiped my card it was declined and the cashier said they stopped accepting WIC 3 years ago and asked if I wanted to pay another way. I explained to her that no I can go to Walmart and get it for free. When I tried to call the store to speak with a manager about this, none of the departments answered the phone. read more

Target Douglas Blvd is a complete Nightmare!! Employee Chris , the man at the self service check out was one of the laziest human employees I've ever had the discomfort of being in and around. It was clear he did not want to help anyone. When bags were empty, I asked for some. He/she huffed and puffed and 12 min. later handed me 1 lousy bag. Uh, thanks??!! except my order was $120. Not quite sufficient. Now MJ! a "lead" ....Wow, what a woman! Target must be desperate for employees because this woman was as rude, loud and unprofessional as they come. Worst customer service. They were awful to us. I didn't realize this target closed at 10 but they made sure to let us know they shut lights off at 10 and so we made our way to the front immediately but not without being told by four different employees they were closed. I had waited to do my pickup order till we were checking out since there was no one at the counter on our way in and there were five angry looking customers waiting. I'm guessing the store lead came up to me and snapped "were closed!!! You can't do returns!" I tried to explain it was for a pickup for one item. She refused, and was rude about it and walked back with her coworkers to talk near the exit. I totally understand everyone wants to go home but the checkout lines were long and she wasn't doing anything. And if she can't do it, that's okay too but she was soooo rude about it. There's a way to refuse someone without being harsh. The people in the bullseye area were actually yelled at by security. I could understand if we were just hanging out shopping but we were out the door by 10:05. Just awful. We will be avoiding this target from now on. read more

Found it ridiculous to have the same product next to each other with one being locked and one not then I realized the bigger more expensive one is available for an easy grab while the cheaper options need a store employee to unlock, if their concern was theft you'd think the most expensive would be locked as well but they are clearly capitalizing on the fact most shoppers don't want to wait for that especially since it's very common for all employers being understaffed read more

Very big store and it is clean but they do not sell alcohol here (i've never seen a Target that didnt sell alcohol). The parking lot is always very busy and while the store is nice, there were a lot of things not offered here that are available at other locations. I will come here if it is convenient but I do not like being limited when it comes to shopping at Target. read more

This is my favorite Target location in Roseville. It is so big and massive; much bigger than the other Target location on Fairfield (although, I do like that location a lot too). It has a huge clothing section for women, teens, pregnant women, men and boys as well. It also has a large beauty section with so many cute gift ideas like Hello Kitty themed lip balms (as pictured below), facial mask packs and lots of cleansing facial washes, and a nice bubble bath selection; what girl doesn't love an amazing bubble bath?! I am also obsessed with their holiday sections. So many things I wanted to buy for Christmas like the most incredible Nutcrackers, fake Christmas trees with a strand of lights, lighted up reindeer too which would be perfect to display on your balcony and front lawn for the holidays. They also have decorated Christmas pillows and blankets which would be a nice Christmas present for your loved ones. And like all Targets, they have a grocery section including cat and dog foods and toys for your fur babies oh and of course a Starbucks too which also feature some nice tables to sit at if you wanted to take a break from your shopping. And also tons of toys for children; lots of aisles of toys for boys and girls and an electronic section too. Did I miss anything? I probably did but please, come check it for yourself!! read more

Clean target, friendly staff. Stock is mostly always full. Latrly however their food pantry has been low. No salsas in the refrigerated area, nothing scarce items. Other than that a lot of clearance items which I love! If you need a few items or a lot of items this is your place! read more

Target Store was very clean and well organized. The clearance stuff was eye-catching. I particularly like that there is a Starbucks in this store and that the Starbucks really does have it's own space, i.e. is not melded into the store itself. I went in to pick up a greeting card and I did not have a lot of time. I was going straight from here to the post office. Well, three or four full aisles of greeting cards and I have never seen so much crap. Are the buyers actually reading any of these to see what they are purchasing? Sometimes less is more which would be the case here. I can not imagine anyone buying more than half of these cards. I do not know where the cards will go when no one buy them but suffice it to say, there are more than plenty here going to the after-life. Next, one thing to note is that Target does have Papyrus cards which I do really like - too bad Papyrus is (I believe) out of business. The only GREAT card that I found in the store was a Papyrus card and it was $11. I have not reached that level of insanity in my life where I am willing to drop $11 + CA state and local sales tax for a greeting card. Some cute clothes here did catch my idea - do not even get me started on purses ( I skipped past that area with blinders on). Did my best to go and go straight to what I was looking for and then check out. Ok. Here is where things took another turn for the worse. The checker did not really care about whether I was a member of Target Circle or Target Red. She did not care whether my purchase points were applied to my account or not. That was discouraging because I (along with the rest of the planet) am a conserving my funds during this time of inflation so naturally I would have liked to have had the rewards points that I was entitled to with my purchase. I m not a Target fan. I come about twice year for gift giving moments because I find them to be quite pricey for general everyday items. I needed a bathing suit and they want $50 for a no name brand! I asked about some basic leggings, all were $25. Ok moving on... but then I needed some laundry detergent and that was average $12. I just wanted a small box. The slots were empty. So yeah okay Target has nicer surroundings but I also expect better service. Nope none there either. I went to the fitting room and the girl was straitening up a rack about 50ft away. I ask her and she just waves me on to go in. My cashier was wearing a shirt with holes in it, unshaven, and hair a mess. Looks like he just rolled out bed and came to work. Nice. You might see me at Christmas but not for anything else. Give me Walmart anyday. I get the same crap but spend much less. read more

Been going to this target for years always has great customer service and is mostly clean. The app is accurate and the order pickups always come fast. My son loves talking to Cobe up front about video games, very nice young man. My only gripe has to be people out in the parking lot. There's always homeless and people trying to sell me stuff, other than that it's a really nice store would recommend this location. read more

I went in to purchase baby food with my WIC card, and became distracted by how beautiful and well kept the store looked! There were associates in every department stocking shelves. I picked up a few more things in Foods and headed up front to pay. As the cashier rang up my items I complemented how well maintained the store appeared and how much I enjoyed looking around. I pulled out my WIC card, and she tells me this store does not accept WIC. I felt so embarrassed and that I had wasted my time actually enjoying myself, that I just walked out. I told her that I still thought the store looked nice. I will not be shopping at this location again. read more

Worst customer service in my life from an employee named ELL. Seriously she should never work in customer service ever again. She got upset and gave me attitude for adding an iPad to my iPhone case purchase. She couldn't even tell me what the model of the iPad was and got frustrated I even asked. I like this target a lot, but the employees are really rude. They have no customer service at all. I was with my mom my son picked a toy out that was already open and missing some things. Unfortunately they didn't have another one, he really wanted that toy. I took it to the cashier, and 2 older blonde hair ladies "helped" me. One had really short hair with scary makeup on. She was extremely rude. When I told her the box was open she responded "it's suppose to be open" making me feel dumb and not heard. I've just Moved into the area and wanted to check out this target. While at self checkout on Tuesday 24th Cynthia lingered during my entire transaction... prior to walking to self checkout I watched her walk around and interact with the machines, checking to endure they were in the proper condition after customers leave and appointing customers to the next available ones leaving them to check out in peace .... When it came to my turn she just stood there watching me scan my items.... This I wasn't aware was the protocol since as stated before she just helped ppl to the available ones and allowed them to peacefully checkout without her presence.. it got awkward having someone eyeball me the entire time... however after I finished my transactions she was back to check the machines and appointing ppl to then available ones... Cynthia please work on your professionalism The over all store was very well organized and well stocked.. I'll be back to this location but not if Cynthia is on her funny business again. I'll try going to an actual register where the cashier is dedicated to assisting the customers in front of them and no having someone like Cynthia linger just during particular peoples transactions . read more

This review is strictly regarding picking up an online order. So, I'm not much of an online shopper, but I'm seriously starting to come around. & When Target makes things THIS easy, why wouldn't anyone? With the holidays fast approaching, I'm trying to kick my typical habit of doing last-minute shopping, so was it last week I put in an order online? I think so. Wasn't a huge order (again, this is not my usual route for gift shopping) but everything went smoothly. Immediately after placing my ship-to-store order, I received an email confirmation. At checkout, I opted to get an email AND text notification for when my order would be ready for pickup. All notices mentioned to bring ID. No problem! So when I got my text notice today, I made sure I made my stop to the store, as they indicate they won't hold your order for more than a day or two. Upon arriving to the Customer Service area, I liked they had a separate line for pickups. Awesome cuz that returns & exchanges line can get out of hand sometimes, although today there was only 1 couple waiting their turn there. No one in the pickup line, so I too waited my turn. Once the girl behind the counter finished with the guest she had, I was called up BEFORE the couple in the other line. Nice! As I walked up, I was trying to pull up my email confirm, but all that was needed was my ID. SWEET!!! When she couldn't find it under my last name in her system lookup thingy, she asked if it might be under a different name. Nope! Good thing she knew to check under my middle initial, or else this experience could've gone down hill from there. Luckily it didn't & she went to the back to grab my item then handed me my order saying she'd process it & I'd get an email confirming pickup. Before walking away, I double checked the contents just to be sure it was as it should be (I've heard stories, not specifically about Target, but you never know. Mistakes happen!) & when I saw it was all good, I was on my way out the door! The whole experience probably was less than 15min, seriously! This one is the nearest one to us. Parking is almost always easy here and everything is pretty on point for cleanliness. Almost always well stocked. Bathrooms can use some touch up now and then. Self checkout is smaller but is pretty open most of the time. Good store to have nearby read more
