    Mono print class
    Melissa S.

I came here with my girlfriend for their mono-printing class. Signing up for the class was a bit confusing. They say to email them, but they don't quickly email you back to tell you if you are in the class or not. They say there is a limited amount of space, so we were worried both of us wouldn't get in. After waiting for a bit I just called them. They were very helpful over the phone and signed me up right away for the class. There were spots open so we both got into the class. I offered to give them my credit card over the phone, but they said to just pay when I got to the class. There isn't a private lot. Parking is plentiful in the public lot and it's free. It's about a block away. The class was fun. What I loved most about the class was all the supplies were included. I could try this new form of art and didn't have to invest in supplies. I enjoyed the class, but don't think I'd do this at home. I might take the class over again and bring my own card stock to make greeting cards out of the final product. In the end I just cut out the copy paper and glued it to blank card stock cards and it turned out really well. I was able to make many of my own custom made arty greeting cards. I highly recommend this gallery for classes. It is a bit of a drive for me, but it was a fun time.

This is one of my favorite shops/galleries in the entire Sacramento area! Every time I am there I find something I want to buy from driftwood with meaningful words and sayings burned into it to unique welded metal works. Buying a gift here supports artists and is so much more fun than shopping at a Big Box store or at the mall. It is located in Old Roseville and even offers some classes for those who are interested. I also love the Wishing/Prayer Tree near the entrance. I always take a moment to add a message to this tree.

My best friend and I did the paint your pet class and it was so much fun. Our pictures turned out amazing and we made new friends!

So I love this place in old Roseville. I usually buy one art piece from here for my birthday. They have classes you can take to learn to paint, they usually paint dogs.. just saying. Anyways this place has unique pieces you will not find anywhere else. Well maybe online somewhere. But the creativity is amazing. Check it out. It's across the street from Ninja Sushi

For the ARTIST membership level it's only $75/year A guaranteed spot in annual Membership Medley Show. I used to show in the 20th Street gallery in Sacramento and lots of fun doing it so being in another show would be fun. It's for seasoned & emerging artists of all types You'll have access to many benefits, see the website for details. And you get 60% Commission rate on art sales. We came here for the Opening Reception July 18, 2026 from 5-7pm to see our favorite Artist Mary Pippitt who did Wintry City Scape; 16x16; using Encaustic selling for $300. What an opening. There were 150 different artists showing their work. Not all the artists were present, if they were they would have been over capacity. The gallery was filled with so much beautiful and moving artwork and bustling with artists and patrons. I love the variety: Encaustic, Cold Wax, Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, mixed media, fabric, metal, ceramic, glass, wood, ect. I love seeing so many varieties of art in one place. Maybe I'll join one day at the FAMILY $120/year as it comes with NARM, where you can visit 900+ Musuem and gallery's for no additional fee. We currently belong to my favorite museum and receive the NARM benefits which allows us to go to all the Sacramento Museums plus all the ones in North America. It's a great deal, you save so much money and are motivated to expand your horizon. I love going to galleries and museums so this was definitely up my alley and in my comfort zone. It was nice to attend with friends and be able to go out to dinner afterwards and discuss all that we saw.

We'll definitely stop by the family day and hopefully sign up for another camp next year.

Fire & Rain Gallery is an adorable little art, furniture, jewelry, and home goods boutique located…read moreat 705 Sutter Street. Most of the items in the store are created by local artists, but a few come from national artists. The pieces are very eclectic. I've seen everything in this gallery from clocks, to Lazy Susans, to a steel stripper statue suspended from the ceiling by a swing on chains. No matter what your price range is, there is something for you here. The jewelry pieces are stunning, and most of it is affordable. If anyone is looking for a last minute Mother's Day gift for a woman with great taste, Fire & Rain Gallery just might have what you're looking for. It would be impossible to decide what my favorite item in the store is, but I absolutely adore their selection of artsy clocks. They also have handbags, wallets, and all kinds of other accessories. When fact-checking for my review, I found out some interesting information about the gallery. It originally opened at 609 Sutter Street, where Citizen & Vine is now located, in 1994. By 2011, the gallery had moved to El Dorado Hills, but in 2017, they came back to Folsom, just down the street from where they had been before. An old, deleted review on an old, deleted Yelp page describes "the upstairs as magical." I can't imagine Fire & Rain with an upstairs, or being just up the street from Planet Earth Rising, but it looks like that's where it used to be. The new location is sort of long and narrow (and is only one story, as far as I know). The gifts and jewelry are in the front room, which is the largest. The room behind that has mini rooms sectioned off on each side, which is where most of the smaller art pieces are usually kept. In the back of the gallery, natural light shines through a window with stained glass panels around its edges. An orange tree sits just on the other side of the window, like natural art. The back room is usually my favorite, since this is where the larger furniture pieces are kept. There are also several pieces in this room by an artist who paints NorCal forests in this magical, surreal manner. If I had $700 to spend on a painting, I would buy one of those. Overall, the art is well-chosen, the ambiance is outstanding, and the employees are friendly. This is one of my favorite shops on Sutter Street.

Not overly syrupy; it was such a well-balanced drink taste-wise! As for treats, the orange tea cake was flavorful and tender! Recommend even if you're not abiding to a gluten-free or vegan diet. The pepperoni pizza pie could use some adjustments; very skimpy on the red sauce (had to take three bites in to notice that the hand pie wasn't just downright dry) but the red sauce was super delicious. Needs more of it! Friendly and chill baristas. Coffee shop is located in Downtown Roseville; street parking or could use the nearby parking garage.
