I didn't find what I wanted but I know it's a hit miss when you're looking for pots and pans. But the stores laid out lovely and they have anything else, You'd actually imagine. The people working there are friendly and helpful. I just got a simple cookbook. But it had nice pictures and that's really important in life. Make sure to stop in. I'm sure you wouldn't leave empty-handed.

Upscale Thrift Store I was in search of a local non-profit organization (that wasn't a Goodwill) to donate some slightly used items. Anyway, I came upon this thrift store that is a store and also accepts donations. It was my first time here and I arrived around 3:00p. I missed the cut off and was told that donation hours were between 9:30a to 2:00p. I asked one of the volunteers where the donations were usually dropped off and I can come back on Monday. She asked how many bags I will be donating and she kindly said to go around and pull up in the back of the building and she'll meet me there. I was able to empty the back seat. Thank you! I went back inside the store and started looking around. The store had many volunteers working and kept the store tidy and clean. The interior has expanded and there were different sections for kitchen, household, clothing and jewelry. Although not as big as a Goodwill store this location carries some unique items. They had sales going on but items were priced a little on the high side. I didn't purchase anything as my purpose this time was spring cleaning and donate. This non-profit organization benefits the Acres of Hope, a program supporting women and children help overcome homelessness, trauma, addiction and poverty. Review #2910

The cause is great. I took pictures with my camera to keep from buying all! Helps the most vulnerable women.

All the soup mugs I should have purchased but didn't because I still have a whole kitchen to unpack.

Being new to the area, I'm on a mission to scope out all of the thrift stores. I think I lucked out and found a favourite right off the bat! This place is adorable, clean, and spacious. It is full of treasures (not junk) and incredibly reasonably priced! I loved how much season-specific stuff they had out on display and the employees were super friendly. Can't wait to come back and see new treasures!

    Vintage Gucci!

I visit this place every time I'm in Roseville. The store is always running a sale of some kind, which is great. I've mostly purchased handbags - I find most of the clothing is too out of style for my taste. My recent finds are a couple of Coach bags for 12 bucks each and a vintage Gucci shoulder bag. The home side of the shop always has nice crystal and serving pieces. And the ladies that run the store are always very helpful and nice!

Excellent thrift shop with a lot of great things to choose from. The staff is mostly friendly and always professional. They are the best in business because they selectively pick products of good condition and great value. I would highly recommend this business to all that con come.

Love these stores! One side is home goods and the other side is mostly ladies clothing. I can always find something at either store. The home store is arranged nicely and does not feel like a thrift store. The items are good quality and there is always a sale. The clothing side is organized well and they have a dollar section for people looking for bargains! Most of the workers are volunteers and they always greet everyone as they come in the door! I like that the cause they support goes directly back to the local communities!

I came here to volunteer, and to my surprise, there were even younger kids participating. I learned that the minimum volunteer age is 10 years old. Some students were volunteering for school service hours, while others came through different companies and organizations. We joined the second shift from 1pm-4pm. The session started shortly after 1pm with a briefing and task assignments from the group leader. All tasks were explained clearly. The leaders checked on us throughout the shift to make sure we were doing okay and to see if anyone had concerns. Halfway through the shift, we had a 15-minute break, and one of the leaders brought ice cream to celebrate a volunteer's birthday and shared it with everyone. I thought it was a meaningful way to celebrate a birthday while helping a good cause. We actually finished around 3:30pm, and our shift completed: - 5,451 lbs of food packed - 474 boxes prepared for the "No Student Goes Hungry" program supporting students from elementary school through college in Sacramento County. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating, and the facility was clean and organized. Restroom: clean, bright, and decent. If you are interested in volunteering, check out their website and register in advance.

Within all of this stuff, was a bunch of new and lightly used clothing. In the past I have donated clothing to my local Goodwill Express. However, I did some reflection and realized that all of the clothing that I donated was being sold for profit. Going forward, my intention was to donate to an organization that receives the donation(s) and distributes them to underprivileged individuals/families free of charge. Some research led me to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. Upon calling to verify their hours (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, 10am-1pm and Wednesday, 4pm-7pm), I gathered all of the clothing and hit the road on a mission to make a difference. Upon arrival, I was greeted by a Sacramento Food Bank employee who eagerly began to load my clothing donations onto a cart. Since a lot of the clothing consisted of dress pants and dress slacks, he proceeded to inform me about a program called "Job Smart Clothing." Job Smart Clothing is a program within Sacramento Food Bank that provides career appropriate apparel for underprivileged individuals interviewing for employment or currently employed. How cool is that? I'm not a representative for Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services. However, I will say that they provide an awesome service to the community, and that a little donation goes a long way (individuals who benefit from their services often leave with 15-20 pieces of clothing per visit). Before you throw away that piece of clothing that you think is out of style or doesn't quite hug your curves the way that they used to, think about donating it to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services!

It's not as big as the other one was which was disappointing, but oh well. It's a small thrift store that had a lot of various pieces here. A small book section, clothes, a few pieces of furniture, etc etc. The best part is that the sales go towards the SPCA, so you can feel good about helping animals while finding something for cheap. They even had a back room with some pet furniture too! Prices were pretty cheap too! There were some things that were being charged more than what they're worth, but that's always the case at a second hand store. The majority was a great deal which is what matters the most. Staff was friendly and made up entirely of volunteers. They were happy to talk to us whenever we had questions about an item, but otherwise were pretty hands off in terms of letting us shop, which I appreciated. It's not the best thrift store I've ever been to, but it's far from the worst too. Check them out if you've got time, it's easy to get in and out of quickly too.
