I first came here after learning Trader Joe's donated less than perfect flowers here.... $3.50 a bouquet and $1.00 for greens. I have never been much of a flower buyer because I'm frugal to a fault. But this is really fun. For less than the cost of a small pumpkin spice latte, I can buy my mom flowers. They also have several items that other thrift stores don't.... they have a furniture section (mostly nicer, quality antique style), and they have mobility aids (wheel chairs, walkers, etc). They have fun stuff to look at, like earrings and things, that are easily accessed with staff help. At very large goodwill stores, it can take forever to look at something behind the counter. While they don't have the biggest selection of clothes, I feel like they are a bit curated. I picked 3 shorts off the rack this summer, and they've been my summer go-tos. They also send a lot of the TJ flowers to the hospice patients. And the employees are positive, kind, and funny. Better than Disneyland if you love the dopamine hit of a good bargain!

There are actually 2 ReNew stores, one focused on home goods and decor type of items and the other is clothing, shoes, and smaller items. 100% of the profits from these stores goes directly to their program that helps women and children out of poverty and homelessness. This thrift store isn't like a Goodwill, not big, not "corporate" and so I feel that it's much more personable. Everything is tasteful and nicely organized and they even tell you it's "curated" on their website. ReNew sells new and gently used clothes, shoes, accessories, kitchenware and especially some nice sets of fine china (see pics), arts and crafts, card and board games, books, dvds, some smaller electronics and home appliances as well as upcycled home decorations, housewares, furniture, etc. They really do sort and quality control their items, as I can see that their new and gently used, high-end and name brand fashion are all high quality. Some of the items are kind of overpriced for what they are being used, but most items are at "low-thrift boutique" prices, and for a good cause so it's definitely a great place to shop. They have a list of items they accept for donations as well as what they don't accept. So this is a great place to shop to support as well as to give to if you have used items you want to donate.

It was already in the cart, but he was very rude about it being in the cart and she couldn't take it wouldn't take my baby items. Just an absolute poor poor attitude person I get that it's Goodwill, but maybe don't work donations where you're doing customer service all day if you're gonna be a rude person. It's not as big as the other one was which was disappointing, but oh well. It's a small thrift store that had a lot of various pieces here. A small book section, clothes, a few pieces of furniture, etc etc. The best part is that the sales go towards the SPCA, so you can feel good about helping animals while finding something for cheap. They even had a back room with some pet furniture too! Prices were pretty cheap too! There were some things that were being charged more than what they're worth, but that's always the case at a second hand store. The majority was a great deal which is what matters the most. Staff was friendly and made up entirely of volunteers. They were happy to talk to us whenever we had questions about an item, but otherwise were pretty hands off in terms of letting us shop, which I appreciated. It's not the best thrift store I've ever been to, but it's far from the worst too. Check them out if you've got time, it's easy to get in and out of quickly too.

She had a large selection and all at incredibly reasonable prices( think 50 percent cheaper then what you would find on Etsy or in a trendy shop in SF). She also had racks on vintage clothing, shoes and other fun trinkets. I left with a large green flower inspired hat from 1957 that I just can't wait to wear. Why people don't wear hats still always confuses me....ah well Those Were the Days....

It was kind of sad, either they really don't like working the jewelry counter or I felt like they had some kind of preconception or stereotype about my mom (or me, who knows.). It definitely put a damper on the shopping experience. This is one of the cleaner goodwills I've been too. The racks are sorted nicely and almost color coded. All the sizes are separated well without being mixed up. There wasn't a lot of things cluttered on the shelves or on the floors. They keep the bathrooms locked and they were fairly clean. I can appreciate them having a sharps container so if sharps are being used they don't end up on the floor or anywhere else. Overall we found some good stuff. I just wish the employees were nicer. The lady that did end up helping us was kind and helpful. Maybe everyone was just having a rough day.

But this might not matter to other people. I did however try some things on over my clothing, and I noticed that I wasn't the only one doing that. They do have a couple mirrors on the side... They at least had a nice clothing selection and were an average size for a goodwill. I'm not sure why they had to get rid of the dressing rooms, but I hope they bring them back sometime. The staff were okay. They were not exactly friendly, but kind of working with a "blah" energy. Still they were helpful and at least nice. I would still recommend this thrift store to others.

As such, parking is super easy to find. Bliss Market Roseville is super spacious on the inside and features plenty of stalls to peruse. I would not call it an antique mall per se, as there are other curated modern pieces and handmade items for sale, but it is still cool to walk through and maybe pick up some pieces for your closet or home. If you want a full antique mall experience, I would head over to Antique Trove instead. As with all places that sell collectibles, each vendor sets their own price, so you need to really sift through each stall, as some vendors have really good pricing on their items, and others not so much. I recently have become interested in collecting glass and porcelain insulators, and this would not be the place to look for them, especially since most vendors overprice their insulators, the majority of which are super common CD 154 (Hemingway 42 and similar) insulators, which are not worth more than a few bucks each. But of course, those new to the hobby do not know this and might very well be tempted to spend $15 or more on a common piece of glass. I was especially intrigued by the unique thumbprint clay bears, which were all so tiny and yet so intricately crafted with great attention to detail. The tiny scenes that some of the bears were posed on were so well done! I considered purchasing one but ultimately decided against it since bears are not really my thing and I would have preferred to add something else to my collection. I did jump on a set of beautiful porcelain bird eggs, each for a fantastic price, and was very happy to have found them. I mainly collect dog or bird-themed items, and these two eggs have found their new homes on one of my shelves that I use strictly for collectibles. Bliss Market Roseville is a nifty spot to take your time browsing through, and I will return the next time we are in the area. You never know what you will find next!
