Shopping here today and noticed some new things in boxes waiting to be stocked such as some kitchen items and I see the price that they are charging (for most likely a USED item) and it is marked 24.99 but I looked up what it sells for brand new elsewhere and the price of it for it brand new is only 14.99. It's outrageous how much they increase prices on things. read more

I am a huge fan of thrift shopping you find so much stuff that still has the tags on it and you get so much more for half of the price. This is one of my favorite Goodwill in Roseville very clean establishment very clean atmosphere. They definitely have something for everybody. They don't just have clothes they have household items Holiday items, children's toys, pet items. I have seen typewriters and much more. The staff that works at this location are very friendly very helpful. I like to come here for my jeans for work because it's more affordable than me going to the mall. I always find what I'm looking for and more definitely one of my favorite places to score a deal Very great establishment and on Sundays they have a special color code that gives you an additional discount which who doesn't like saving I know I love saving money on items and a lot of people think when you go shopping at Goodwill that a lot of items are used and not clean that's untrue. Goodwill is still Goodwill and I can't give 5 stars for that reason (see my last Goodwill review for why). However, this one is possibly as good as it gets. Athletic attire is sorted from other attire. Sadly, though understandably, mens and womens are commingled. I don't mind, I check stuff out and try it on. If it works, it works. Their fitting rooms are open just like the other 3 or 4 so Goodwill locations I've been to lately. No more of the rona ridiculous. I wanted to buy an electronic cord, but no price. Cashier gave me a great price and that's awesome. And best news is that the polarized plug powers the Sony boom box I bought at a different Goodwill. Now the garage has music and I don't have to lug the portable speaker in there and mess with my phone. Goodwill, bring back the discount days where "x" color is 50% off. Stop being greedy. When I go to donate and unload my car a tall big man comes out and I show him a car full. He does nothing and just stands there telling me to put it in the bin instead of helping me lift these big boxes. Thankfully I'm very strong and can do it but damn why are men so lazy!!! Drove up Sept 5th at 3:00. I give to this Goodwill constantly. I have never seen such a lazy guy working. The sign says to wait for the attendant. The people before me, after waiting awhile, took their small items up to the door and put it in a basket. I lived up and waited. I had a lot of items and heavy boxes. He just ignored me for many minutes, even though I was in view. He then looked at me from afar and pointed to the container up by him to carry it to him. I pointed that I need it at my car for heavy items. Unlike the other nice guys who address you with a hello and goodnye he just pushed it towards me and said bring back. read more

One of the cleaner goodwills I've been to. I gratefully appreciated their attention to Covid and making people wear masks. They had a good variety of clothes and knickknacks to browse though. We got an exercise machine for $8 and some stationary. The staff was nice and helpful with questions. My only criticism is that the stuff they have is a bit outdated. For instance, lots if old timey appliances that aren't of much use. But, the area is older and they can only sale what they get. A fun destination to add if in the area. read more

This store carries extremely overpriced and worn down clothing. Low key made me think this was the norm until i went to another goodwill and their prices for shirts had a high of $5, their prices for pants had a high of $10 and jackets had a cut off of $15. Cannot believe how overpacked and over priced this store is. Have been seeing the same clothes/glass pieces for the past year and a half. Cannot believe they continue to raise their prices. Hope that soon they will see this issue (my arm is getting tired of sorting through the same clothes) and finally start putting their customers first and start sticking to their company's principles...when did we forget that they receive all their merchandise for free?? read more

I came in here yesterday for the very first time I needed some new work uniforms and polo shirts are not easy to find and I didn't want to spend a fortune on uniforms when I first came in I noticed it was a large clean atmosphere very clean establishment I think some people think of good will as eew used clothes used items a lot of there items that they sell are like new I found some items that still had the tags on which I was very impressed with I ended up scoring a great deal on 3 polo tops it was $19.99 for 3 tops and at other stores it was that price for one so as you can imagine I was ver excited to score such amazing deal on 3 items I budget what I spend on clothes and other items the staff working was friendly and very helpful I mentioned to the employees how impressed I was with how well stocked the items where and how clean the establishment this is one of the cleaner good will I have ever been to over all my experience here was amazing and I scored some amazing deals I highly recommend this establishment for anyone they have a very wide selection of items not just clothing they have household items pet items and kid items they definitely have something here for everyone if you are on a budget this is definitely the place to shop I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits and more great experiences to come thank you goodwill on sunrise you guys are awesome keep up the great work thank you again read more

This is a great large goodwill with new merchandise daily. The staff is unbelievable friendly and gives great customer service which is surprising Because the management there has always been rude to the staff and customers when I shop there. I shop approximately 4 to 5 days a week and you get to see and know the staff very well and see the management talking down to everyone. The staff is resilient and puts up the way they are treated. I don't get it and would never put up with that crap. REMEMBER, IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES, YOUR EMPLOYEES TAKE CARE OF YOU. It's not brain surgery. It's common sense. ****please note: This location was visited during my Annual Birthday Thrifting Trip. This was just one of many thrift stores my sisters and I visited in one day**** I found very few items at this location and to be honest I was interested in purchasing the few things I picked up only because we took the time to stop there. But after the discussion had with the cashier and manager I walked out empty handed. The employee's were unknowledgeable and unprofessional. They had no clue aboutext message notifications that go out to customers, alerting them of sales. And would not acknowledge mine. The way the manager and cashier spoke to me was rude and unprofessional. Also they were WAY over priced. So I brought 4Runner stuffed with pretty new and higher end donations and the rep at the drive up basically gave me attitude and wanted to go through all the bags to see what they would take or decline. Beside the point of this review but they would be lucky to get this stuff! So I told him thanks for killing my good will and good deed vibe and I drove off. My buddy said just go back tomorrow and maybe you will get a nice and chill employee at the check in!... And guess what I did and he took everything and even unloaded the suv for me! We wished each other a blessed day and I drove off with a big smile! Crazy the two experiences on consecutive days were so different. This is my third time shopping at this Goodwill and they're conveniently located off 80 & Douglas in Roseville right next to 99 cents. Right when you walk in you see a thrift store filled with ok stuff and a bunch of junk. Pretty much nothing got my eyes. They barely have any good items but they have plenty of books, beat up toys, clothing etc. I went through stuff for over 30-40 min and the only thing that caught my attention was a Book on Bass Fishing and since I love fishing I snatched it! I was here with my daughter and husband and my 1 1/2 year old daughter started to cry, like babies do... my husband picked her up and carried her outside as to not to disturb other customers. As I walked up to check out my items both cashiers started to say that "if that was me as a kid my momma would spanked me" and "my momma would've never tolerated me crying in the store" ect. I don't know if they didn't realize she was my daughter or just didn't care, but I was extremely uncomfortable and upset that they just laughed and continued to belittle my parenting. I work with the public every day and if you have shit to say why wouldn't you just wait to talk shit when I walked out the door? I then told my cashier Alexis that she's not even two yet and babies cry. Left completely appalled. Two young women most likely didn't even have children and will learn someday if they choose to do so. Looking for music CDs for my DJ business. Lots of selection - over 600 discs. Problem? There are 3 problems. 1. many damaged discs, 6 potential "finds" didn't have the CDs in them! About 15 more were scratched into oblivion! 2. And now some genius in Goodwill leadership thinks they can get 3.99 plus tax per disc. For that it has to be something I absolutely MUST NEED, and it better be in flawless condition for me. Result? I only bought 4 discs. I found 1 reggae compilation that was exceptional......... 3. They could save about 20% of their wasted space by going through their stock occasionally. Missing discs, badly scratched discs, and my favorite - wrong titles that don't match the covers (mixed up discs and cases) Certainly discourages looking through all the stuff for only a couple finds. I'm about to give up on Goodwill for this reason. There are still a few stores left that are clinging to $1.99, and $2.99 pricing - pushing back on the "corporate BS" - maybe the lack of sales at $3.99 will convince them before they give up on CD sales when they discover no one will pay those prices. read more

I dropped off some donation bags this Monday morning. There were 2 gentleman helping with bins. One general man was very helpful and nice but the other, an older gentleman with glasses, grayish hair and some facial hair was very rude. In fact he threw a one of my donation bags that had breakables into bin. I'm sure some stuff in there broke. And when he threw the bag the bin rolled into my car. I like the store, and the customer service is usually very good. I do hope that they would stop asking people to round up the money during check-out. I have never been asked in any other Goodwill stores. Usually, they would just round it to the nearest/closest digit, there is just that one lady that rounded to the nearest dollar, and another time she made a smirk because it was only 1 cent to add to round up to the nearest dollar digit.
