At any point at the 10 minutes that I stood at the checkout counter and expressed my concern, the lady could of told me there were no returns. She did not,... however she did state that it is posted on the receipt when I called later. If you are ok shopping from people who do such things, I am not. I won't be back!

While I understand businesses have policies, thrift shopping usually comes with a bit of wiggle room, especially when you're looking to build customer loyalty and encourage people to spend more. ​Because they firm-lined the pricing and the selection was limited, we ended up walking out without buying anything. There are plenty of other thrift stores nearby that offer a better selection, friendlier service, and a much more accommodating experience.

We used to find great deals on clothing and household items there. I've found the last few visits to be disappointing. People complain about the high cost of Goodwills but this place makes them seem inexpensive. You can still find a deal but few and far between. It's become much much more "Gift" than "Thrift" You know how you can buy kids t shirts at old Navy for 5 bucks? You can buy an old Navy T Shirt here too for the same price. (With cracking decals and stains.) Much of the clothing is more akin to consignment store prices. I will still keep stopping by, but with lower expectations. They definitely have some cool things available with a bit more vintage choices than most thrift stores.

I've been having knee and back issues because of a Fall and work injury. I called my Orthopedic Doctor and Therapist to get a suitable knee brace. I was told they would call to consult. The cost $400.00 for a knee brace! But..... Well, by the Grace of God, I found a vibrating/ heating pad for my knee!! Brand new ,wrapped up in a box and price tag... $3.00!! I know my Orthopedic doctor would have charged me hundreds of dollars for one. Great finds from medical needs,to clothes for winter and summer. The list is too great. The staff is great as well. Sunday, May 17th, I found myself in downtown Auburn, after visiting old town"s vintage and antique pop-up. I walked into the store and thought-wow great merchandising! I walked around for a bit and thought what a great store. It did not seem that there were any employees there. I walked the length of the store (about 5 minutes) and found that there was a young woman at the counter. This person did not greet me, or acknowledge me in any way. They saw me, and obviously heard the click of my boots on the tile floor, they then looked me and went back to clipping their toenails(?) I asked if this was their store. They said "What?" I repeated my question, and they said "no." and I said "It shows because you did not welcome your customers." And she proceeded to say "You are welcome to leave!" And I did. There were three things I would've purchased, (their prices are pretty good), but not on that day and not with that person behind the cash register. I spoke to another shop owner in town and they mentioned that they were saddened by my interaction because apparently the owner is a very customer friendly person. It's on Lincoln Street in the heart of Downtown. Street parking or a lot up the hill. It's the cutest shop!! Think brick walls, and lots of character and built in shelves.... Treasures both old and new. A great collection of vintage pieces and vintage feeling pieces. I was happy they were in Fall mode instead of already having everything Christmas out. It was beautiful and warm for autumn. They have classes and I hope to take one. There was a selection of paper ephemera for crafting, home decor, fragrances and more. Definitely worth a visit. Can't wait to go back!

If you're from a big city, your local thrift shop has cheaper pieces but you'll have to do the digging. Price makes sense for this small town, its a small trailor. Don't come looking for big brands and thinking you're going to leave with a bunch.
