I've wanted to visit The Feathered Nest for months after seeing their account on social media. I finally made time to visit during their warehouse sale in August. It was so disappointing. Very unwelcoming vibes. Don't expect a hi or smile when you walk in the door. The whole place is very wanna-be elevated Magnolia farms. Definitely an odd vibe from the employees when you go in. The only thing more uncomfortable than their furniture was their attitude. They won't greet you nor talk to you, and they almost seem annoyed when you walk in. If you want to be greeted or helped, you might have to show them your AMEX or something -- who knows. Anyway, I'd stay away unless you want the cast of Mean Girls to sell you a coffee table. read more

I don't live near the Feathered Nest, but when I'm in town I ALWAYS make a point to stop in and pick up some new items for my home. The staff are always so helpful, they ask me a lot of questions and really help me pick out pieces that I may not have otherwise found. Not only do I love the ambiance and beautiful styles, I feel like I get a mini design consultation as well! For instance, I was looking for a new light fixture for my entryway and the staff led me to this one. I'm loving the warm tones of it and the cozy ambiance it brings to my entryway. I absolutely LOVE The Feather Nest and is one of my go-to stops whenever I visit Loomis. Whether I am going in to buy something specific or just peruse the store, the atmosphere is always beautiful and warm. There are always so many new amazing fabrics, furniture pieces, and trinkets to explore (truly my future home inspiration). The store does pop-up shops, cooking classes and some really amazing things around the Christmas season. The staff are always welcoming and kind and they also have a couple cute labradoodles lounging around. Had the pleasure of attending the Annual Dinner Party in June. The set up was great, the food cooked was very tasty. The one issue though is that we were all promised that copies of the recipes would be emailed to us. I never received anything. I emailed following up but my email was never answered. I tried leaving Vmail, no response. I understand from others that this has been the pattern with past Annual Dinner Parties. It's a shame to set those expectations and not follow through. Didn't make the overall experience great for sure. read more

The WORST costumer service ever! I feel like if I'm not dressed to the tee, no one will help me. So judgmental. Sad!

It saddens me to post this review but I have to be honest. It's not one star because they don't wear masks (because they don't), that is not what bothered me. I've been absolutely thrilled to stop here since the day they opened. Because I don't live close and don't frequent Loomis, it took me a while. Well the time came, like an excited little girl I gleefully flung open the door on a sunny afternoon. Hopefully to purchase a few new items for the modern farmhouse we are building. I set my sights right on a gorgeous coffee table. It was beautiful and I could envision it in our new home in front of the fireplace. Then I noticed the young girl, sitting at her computer, who barely looked up to greet me. She seemed bored. I was the only customer in the store, but maybe she was busy. I wandered around, admiring the pillows and the side tables. Noting things that I loved. There was a black and glass hutch that needed to me mine. I was there to spend money... I walked further back only to see the owner walk through the side door. Not even a hello. No, "have you been helped? " Or a "welcome in". Nothing. I went back to the coffee table. Checked the price, $850, perfect. Our truck was there, ready to take that baby home. But still, it was like I was invisible. I wandered further back admired a beautiful dining table, yet not one person looked my way. I was flabbergasted. It was like they could care less if I was there. I had been in awe of this establishment for so long. I felt judged by my messy bun, yoga pants and running shoes. It's a shame, Feathered Nest. I walked out and you didn't notice. I would have spent nearly $1,000 and probably more, had you just given a hint of customer service. I'll never walk through their door, ever again. read more

This place is amazing. Not only is the building incredible, the people are helpful, and the products they sell are curated, unique pieces you won't find elsewhere. I would highly recommend making the pilgrimage to this amazing shop. read more

My husband and I went in to purchase art for our home. We found 3 beautiful pieces of art and a blanket for our bed. Shannon and Megan were extremely helpful in helping me make decisions. Non-existent customer service. It's like they don't even see you when you're walking around the store and couldn't be bothered to greet you.

Came in just to browse because I could tell the store would match my esthetic just by looking at the exterior of the building. I was greeted by friendly employees right away. Even the owner came out to say hello! All the furniture pieces are high end and very tastefully curated. Nothing dated and very timeless. Also, love to shop and support local business.
