I do love Homegoods. But this location has an employee named Theresa who is rude and made for an uncomfortable visit to the store on Sunday. Normally though I do love the variety they have here. I wish the store wasn't quite so packed (or maybe invest in smaller shopping carts) because maneuvering thru the store can be challenge. I stopped in for some Dinner Party supplies and to browse around since I had never been to this location before. It was all about Halloween during my July 31 visit, maybe Summer-ween? The aisles were filled with fall and Halloween decor. I browsed through the aisles looking for dinner party staples and while I found some inspiration, I didn't fall in love with any items. This store was a larger one and seemed well stocked and organized, in fact while I was shopping they had staff members in the aisles reorganizing merchandise. There were some good deals and this is definitely worth stopping in to take a look around when you're in the area. read more

This Homegoods is in Rocklin by Highway 80 and there is tons of parking in a really nice shopping center. CHOCK FULL of holiday items all the time. The place is a complete mess, but aren't they all? It's hard to navigate through the aisles and look because people are so pushy and odd! They have home decor, food, coffee, kitchen supplies, furniture.... So many things! The selection is good, but not amazing. It's just hard to find anything with so much stuff piled everywhere. I have noticed a big increase in prices the past six months or so. The cashiers are limited so there is usually a long line - but the cashiers are always nice. This is a good place to come shopping for gifts! read more

I just visited this store today and had a fantastic experience. Liana, the associate, helped me find a storage bench that I didn't even realize I needed until I saw it. Home goods is a new thing to me and I feel like Ive been let in on a secret society of sorts (this place is why everyone's home is so dialed, out here). I've been here only two or three times before and Liana is always so friendly whenever I see her. Today, she and the manager, Laura, assisted me, and their warmth and friendliness made my shopping experience even better. Highly recommend this store for their exceptional customer service! This location was very clean and organized. There was also enough people to have you check out within a timely manner as well.

One star for the manager who refused to allow me to open a tiny bit of plastic on the large rugs that were on a rack, even though they were priced. You only have to open a tiny hole to see what rug is inside and when I patiently explained this is the only way a customer would be able to purchase an oversized rug she obviously saw how flawed her position was, ultimately saying I could "look at two." So obviously my request was actually fine - she just didn't want to reverse her position. HomeGoods, your manager needs more training. read more

My 83 year old mother--in-law purchased a picture recently. There were hooks on each side of the picture that were attached with three screws each, we attached a thick wire to the hooks and hung the picture. About three days later the hook on one side failed, the weight of the pictire pulled all three screws, the hook and a chunk of the frame-. Home Goods in Citrus Heights refused to reimburse my mother-in-law as it was 38 days since she purchased the picture and they have a 30 day policy from purchase, My mother-in-law did not have her receipt but she had a bank statement showing the date and purchase. The frame for the picture was defective, the weight of the picture could have caused injury when it fell. While i can respect store having a policy, but it was just over a week past 30 days. Very disapointing to me that a large, reputable retailer like Home Goods was not able to acommodate a loyal customer and waive policy in this circumstance. read more

I love to shop at Home Goods, no matter what location I can find them. Plenty of things to see and consider, but not a good store to shop if you have a specific item in mind. If, on the other hand, your looking for a little inspiration, or you can be open to something new, then this is a pretty good place to shop. One area that they are especially good at is with seasonal merchandise, better than most of the big retailers. Really good looking items for whatever holiday is coming up next- hard to find better, especially at those very favorable prices. Merchandise is limited by quantity, so if you like it, buy it the first time you see it. Acquaint yourself with their return policy and you won't be stuck with an item if you change your mind later. You'll find a great assortment of both household and garden items, all at good prices and some very nice staff to help you with your purchases. read more

Found some nice items here. Another newish store in this large strip mall anchored by Walmart. Definitely the nicest Home Goods store I have ever seen. 4/4/2019: Sadly, I didn't find anything in Home Goods' furniture department I needed or wanted; however, I did find and bought a nice, high-end, shower curtain for my second bathroom and an over-the-door, brushed nickel bar hook so, I may hang wet towels on the bar hook rather than slinging the wet towels onto the shower curtain rod . . . My house will NEVER appear as if, Oscar Madison, a literal slob infiltrated my clean, humble abode! I scoured all of Home Goods' inventory accessing if, I need anything else from this store . . . Please do note: This store has considerably less square footage than the Home Goods' locations in Folsom, Sacramento, and Napa so, the furniture department can't store more furniture due to lack of space. However and interestingly, Rocklin's Home Goods has more gourmet foods and candy in their inventory than the three locations I mentioned above. read more

Ok so I'll admit this was my first time visiting a Home Good store. I know...fail! I am so mad I have been missing out some serious goodies but I redeemed myself with some good shopping! Home Good is cross between TJ Maxx and Ross (in terms of home decor), in my opinion, but certainly more upscale than Ross. The table setting and flatware options for vibrant, festive, and unless the aforementioned stores, there were whole sets available which was very nice. Beautiful assortment of decor pillows in different sizes, textures, colors, and price options. I can literally furnish my home, we would just need a bed! read more

Home Goods is always a toss up. You may find the best stuff, you may not find anything at all. All 8 registers might be open, or only 1 may be open. This Home Goods location was the perfect storm. It had great stuff, it was well organized, and even though it was super busy in the pre-Christmas rush, there was a lot of staff on hand to help with that. This store has very poor training for the employees This morning two registers were stumped neither knowing what to do waiting for someone to look their way then trying to get someone thru the intercom without success after 15 minutes someone came over but they still didn't know how to fix it then someone finally came and after a few minutes one of them opens a third register It was like watching a ship of fools This was not a busy time for them this should have been a no brainer. I am not usually the type that would leave a bad review but the experience that I had today at this homegoods was baffling to me. I wanted to return a rug that I had bought about 3 weeks ago, the rug was in good condition, it did not have any stains on it or anything and I just wanted to return it and get store credit for it as I did not have the receipt but I did have the tag and I showed her my bank statement of the exact date I bought it. I understand that every store has their policies but the manager Cindy was not helpful at all and was really rude from the beginning, she was not willing to return it because she said it was not able to resale it because it had a couple crumbs on it, the rug was in a good condition and it was not as bad as she was making it to be, I was able to go to a different homegoods and they returned it for me with no issues at all, this was very unprofessional as I had worked in customer service so I know what a store manager can and can't do and when it came to making your customer happy and providing good customer service they lacked, definitely will never be returning to that location ever again! read more

This was my first time visiting this HomeGoods location. We mainly came to kill a little time before our movie and to check out the Halloween decor. Their shelves were very well stocked, they had a lot of really cute stuff on display, and The employees were fairly friendly. We unfortunately didn't buy anything for two reasons; firstly, they didn't have any carts to take around the store. They had several in the store to be used, but they were either stuck together by zip ties or they were filthy. They may have had some outside but I didn't see any and I think it would've been fairly difficult to navigate the tight space with a cart anyhow. Secondly, we mainly came to look at the Halloween decorations and sadly they all seemed really cheap and cheesy. They did have a really cute large wooden Haunted house for sale sign that I would have loved to, but that was over $100, so a little out of my price range, lol. We ended up going across the street to Ross and found a smaller selection of Halloween decor, but higher-quality. read more

I went into store for first time since before Christmas bought $289 worth of merchandise. I had four cases of water, two different types, so handed one of each to cashier to ring up. Then proceeded to put rest of items on counter. The cashier was very nice, i had aot of glass items so she put water aside to wrap up my items. When I got home with 12 bags I noticed the two waters and a hydro flask didn't make it back into my cart. I went back in and was told store would have to review security tapes to see if items "were actually left behind" and they would call me in 3 to 7 days these items were less than $20 and was shocked by management not giving these items. They didn't even care how much I had just spent. I could understand if these were big ticket items, but it was just water. Never going back to this store. read more
