This one is the nearest one to us. Parking is almost always easy here and everything is pretty on point for cleanliness. Almost always well stocked. Bathrooms can use some touch up now and then. Self checkout is smaller but is pretty open most of the time. Good store to have nearby read more

This place charge you for an order you don't get, then refuses to answer your call in any department to resolve the issue, even after 10 calls. This Target used to be by favorite store but lately is has gone down hill and I refuse to shop here anymore. The store is a mess and is always understocked. The crowd of people who shop here look like they are homeless. There are also people loitering in the parking lot try to sell fruit, others are trying to get you to sign a petition, beggars with signs sitting on the curbs and people playing music for money. What are the Target security guards doing about this but standing inside the door?? NOTHING! I no longer feel safe shopping here. Roseville isn't the place it used to be and it's REALLY sad. This is not the Bay Area that most of us escaped from. Can Roseville Police do something before this part of California is also ruined. read more

1:00 8/30/23 I ordered a tall GRTL extra hot with no foam. My drink came out half foam. I told the barista and she said you can't make these without foaming. I have had one to two of these every day for 15 years and i make them at home. I am well aware that they froth but you hold back the froth. She took out one little scoop and asked if that was good? I replied No please take the foam out and add the rest of the green tea milk frothed in the frother. She got annoyed and said she would just make another one. She asked if I don't want it frothed. I told her I do want it frothed I just want the froth held back. It is not a latte without it being frothed. There is a huge difference. The other thing is that she put two scoops of green tea instead of the traditional 3. I asked if she could add another? She said yes but that I should ask when I order it. I don't know if Target cheaps out on green tea matcha but it clearly states when you order a tall that it is 3 scoops at all Starbucks. The funny thing is she started this whole unpleasant conversation about why she couldn't make it like I requested and guess what? The second one was just like I asked for it. The baristas don't need to make excuses and people uncomfortable if they make it wrong the first time. Some Baristas just make a mistake a day, " I am so sorry. Let me make you another one." Done. We are all happy. It was not a pleasant experience. I don't like to make trouble but she didn't make it like I clearly ordered then she had attitude and excuses. The other gal working with her kept giving me a nice " I'm sorry" look. I wish she had made my drink from the start. read more

This has to be the best Target I have ever shopped at. That is saying something, considering it is a target. What I was most surprised by is that the employees there are very kind and genuinely ask if someone needs something. This isn't a common occurrence When shopping at a Target and Walmart. Any type of Supermarket for that matter. On two occasions we were asked if we needed help finding anything. The first lady was helping a customer, then proceeded to ask us if we needed any help and if we were doing all right with our shopping experience. I figured she must have been a manager just doing her job. But it wasn't until we were on our way out where another person asked us how we were doing and if we needed help with anything, and she also informed us to have a nice day. The store itself is like any other Target, there isn't anything truly special about this place other than the employees. It is a little bit cleaner compared to other targets I have been too. It could have been the time and day that I went which was a Saturday night. They probably were able to clean up a lot better since it's probably slower those days. Lastly when checking out we had a question regarding a water bottle. There were two of the same water bottles but different colors. And different prices. We weren't sure why they were priced differently but we were formed by the cashier and the manager that this is because they charge more depending on how well a color sells versus the other. They're both very apologetic which was surprising and informed us they couldn't really do anything about price matching. Either way I know they felt bad. Overall this target doesn't stand out as far as targets are concerned. But the customers do have a better experience due to the staff. I'm over in the Roseville area my wife and I are probably going to Target, mainly because of her, but at least I know this is a good Target to go to. read more

This Target, like many others, has some pros and cons but usually nothing that would keep me from coming back. It's not a location I visit often, but it's helped me out of a jam many a time when visiting Roseville. There are a couple things I look for when at Target: Do they have what I need in stock and is there someone who knows what they are talking about who can actually help me if I can't find what I need? Here, the answer to both is yes. On my last visit I was looking for something in the cooking section and a no-nonsense lady employee went right to it. They also have a Starbucks for, you know, caffeine. A lot of the men's clothes were on the wrong racks and the cashier wasn't exactly big on personality, but otherwise it was a good experience. Convenience outweighs any inconvenience you'll find here. read more

I shop at this Target frequently, as I find this to be the neatest and well-managed store in the area. I have grown to recognize names and faces within the staff, they are very friendly and always have been. Susie has worked there for a while and is by far my favorite employee. What is not to like about Target ? Where else can you go in for a birthday gift and milk, and come out with the aforementioned gift, a card, sunglasses, milk, underwear,shampoo, and a bath-mat. Don't hate, because Target actually has some cute undies. They also have nice ladies in the watch department. One of them changed my battery for me and only charged me for the battery. If you go to a watch repair place, they charge you at least ten bucks for "labor". Minus one star because I can never get out of there for less than 50 bucks. read more

Target needs to get it together, was at Target and wanted to get a hot dog today but the attendant was on break and so I thought I'll come back later and get the hot dog that I had been craving all day , so I called and was told it was open till 8 pm so I got in my car and drove all the Way over to the target on Douglas and when I got there it was closed. First of all they closed down the food court in Roseville on Fairway so you have to drive all the way across town to get a hotdog at another one . They seem to not be able to keep help. I spoke with the manager and she said that she would make sure that whoever told me that it was open till eight with make sure they look next time. I don't think they'll be a next time read more

Wow. I don't think I could have encountered anyone ruder than the person I just talked to here. I noticed the girl by the fitting room was doing customer checks and I was trying to find a certain Christmas tree. I approached her and in a completely rude tone she said "well do you know what you're looking for?" This, mind you, was after I told her what the item was. She didn't even try to look and said, once again with an attitude, "I know we don't have those." So I just said forget it, I'll check another store. I'm sorry but if you hate your job as much you are portraying to, save us all your crappy attitude and quit. Luckily the girl who rang us up was a million times nicer. read more

I love Target. I really do. But seriously? Yesterday was pretty bad. After about half an hour of shopping, I went to check out. Some razors I wanted to buy rang up at 15 dollars, when every one of the razors was in an 8 dollar price point, and there were not even any 15 dollar price points around. Typically, in a situation like this, they adjust the price because it was their fault. It wasn't as if one item was in the wrong spot, left by another customer. Well, cashier guy tells me, "Yep, that happens sometimes." I said, "So... all of them were in the wrong spot... can it be adjusted to that price?" And he says, "No, it just happens sometimes". I decided not to argue and told him I was going to go pick something else, then. He said he'd hold my items. Less than a minute later, I come back with a different pack of razors. The guy says, "Okay, found something else?" and looks around... Can't find any of the stuff I left up there. He's looking, he's looking... Nope. Turns out cashier boy left all of my items in the bags in front of him, and gave the person in front of me all of my items... for free! So, whoever got my two bags worth of stuff worth 40 bucks for free yesterday, good for you! Cashier boy and a supervisor who has joined us by this point don't offer up any apology, and tell me I need to go get everything I want again. I did go out and get everything I had originally shopped for. Which sucked. And although I got no apology, it was kind of funny to watch the cashier tell his supervisor that whoever he checked out after I went to go grab the other razors got 40 bucks worth of free merchandise. I will offer up a word of advice to the cashier... when you let someone get 40 bucks worth of my crap for free and I have to go do my shopping again, do not dare to ask me if I want a Target Red Card after that. read more

Love me some Target!! Let me count thy ways... On a more serious note, Taget has everything you need with quality brands at a very exceptional price! Their staff is super friendly and helpful and they are easy to spot with the red polos and khaki pants, or if you can't find a staff member just pick up one of the red phones and a staff member will be there shortly. The facilities are very clean. If they don't have a specific item they can use their little hand held scanner and show you not only what other stores have your desired item but how many are left in stock! Oh and they have a Starbucks now inside there which makes this experience only better! :) read more

The new and fabulously improved Target is spectacular! I love it! The women's clothing section just got even better! The dressing rooms got a much needed makeover, and the whole place feels showroom new. The carts are even nicer. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. There was plenty of staff to help direct people where they needed to go since most everything got moved around to different parts of the store after the renovation. I'm a huge Target fan! read more

Ohhh Target... the shopping destination that you cannot possibly walk into with the intention of only grabbing "one" item without walking out over $100 in the hole. I like to refer to it as the curse of Target. The curse of Target seems to get me every single time that I walk into the store. Target has become one of my favorite stores to shop at. It seems as if within the past 5 years, or so, they have gone to great lengths to really revamp the company image as well as the store itself. They have great clothing items that are quality and rather inexpensive, a home decor section that has great, stylish items for a reasonable price, as well as a beauty section that carries a lot of name brand beauty products, such as Essie, Biolage, Bed Head, etc. On top of the products that Target carries, the store is clean and the employees are friendly. read more

Really, do I need to say more? This Target on Douglas has been around all of my life. It has been improved many times, and the staff is awesome. Not many people go to this location any more because of the Target Greatlands that have opened in Rocklin, and in Citrus Heights. But this one always has what I need, and plenty in stock. I like how they put in the new grocery section. What other department store offers Starbucks, pizza (frozen or cooked), popcorn, panties, paper, and pens in one location? I love Target! They have almost everything I need and for cheap. It's clean and well stocked so you don't feel like you're shopping at a Wal-Mart or Kmart (no offense Wal-mart and K-mart shoppers). They have a food and grocery section along with a good selection of wine. I never used to go to Target to get food but they're prices are a lot more competitive than your average supermarket (especially frozen food, snack aisle, etc.). Anytime I can save a $1.50 on tin foil or deli meat I'm a happy girl. read more

How can you not love Target? And this one is well-maintained with friendly staff. I am in there a lot, often running errands during my lunch hour, and I also use their pharmacy. The pharmacist here is awesome. I came in once upset about the side effects one of my migraine medications was causing, and she always asks me how I'm doing now and if the side effects have subsided, etc. It's very conveniently located for me, so this is one of the Target stores I go to most frequently. This is the best target. The times I've went to stop and pick something up quickly, there hasn't been any long lines. The cashiers have great personalities and know how to hold a conversation. Target also has a store brand kettle chip that is the best. This brand is more crunchy than any other kettle chip that I've had. I wish they had plain jalapeno, but they only have jalapeno cheddar which is still good. Salt and vinegar is the best. The bag is also re-sealable with a ziploc. The only reason I'm going it 4 stars is because we had to park pretty far the last couple of times. I don't know if we're just getting lucky with the lines. read more

Not enough checkout lines for Roseville, but the customer service desk is fast and friendly. I got lost in between all the good products with superb pricing. I got distracted pushing around the funny shopping carts for so long that I had to pee. Upon entering the restroom, I was pleasantly surprised to see a very clean set of skins accompanied by a good ratio of urinals to toilets. Airdry instead of towels should become the norm, as is adopted by this target store. Great for families and the divorced husband, an all around powerhouse of a store. read more

I waited at the customer service counter to do a return. Several employees walked past me without acknowledging that I was standing there. I needed to do an even exchange on a clothing item that was given to me fir Christmas...just needed a smaller size. The employee kept my bag and them they wanted to charge me for another one. I've always thought of Target as an upscale Walmart.. somewhere I could go & still pay decent prices but without having to deal with so many ghetto freaks. This is definitely my favorite Target by far. The workers are always super friendly and there never seems to be ridiculously long lines. Other Targets seem to suck in the communication department (can I get more cashiers up in here?!) but this particular one doesn't make me suffer. I also like the food section: they have a pretty good selection of goods even though it's small. The prices seem to be on the rise in the shoe/clothing departments, and I wish it wasn't. :( Ohhh well, I guess you pay for (better) quality, right? I have always been a target shopper. But the store on Douglas has an over powering smell. I don't know the cause but I find it offensive and can't understand why shoppers are willing to put up with this obnoxious over powering smell that hits you when you walk in. Mary Jane (MJ) The front end manager is beyond awesome. Had a serious mix up with an online order to be picked up in the store. They sent the wrong items twice. She gave me a full refund and went far and beyond what she had to do. She was very nice about it and made me leave smiling instead of upset. Which is no easy task when the company has messed up the same order for the second time. It's rare to come by someone in retail management with such a positive helpful attitude these days. over all, this is a good store. they workers are super nice and they're always there to help. there store is super clean and smells good. there starbucks is delicious . (probably wondering why it's a 4 and not a 5 right?) Well maybe cause, when my sister and i , Taylor, went to get a pretzel from the little counter area at the front of the store that sells food. they have a little stand with pretzels on it. and i was like THAT LOOKS SO GOOD. they Taylor. my sister ordered it and when i was looking at them it said on the case that the pretzels were in that they're fake. then when we got it, it looked nothing like what it did in the case. i was very disappointed. but yes other than my tragic pretzel moment this is a great store. read more
