Buyers beware and don't shop at Shoe Palace. The manager is okay with putting used merchandise on the floor to sale at full price. * They have a 14 day return policy that is not clearly advertised or communicated to the customer. *You have to get an in store credit or gift card with a receipt for shoes purchased within 30 days and never worn. * They have a limited supply of shoes in stock and they cannot place an order in the store for you, like Champs and Foot Locker. *You cannot use the gift card for online purchases, even though the store has no stock and cannot order the shoe in your size. You have to read the teeny tiny print on the back of the card to figure this out. *They sale used shoes with scuff marks and creases, marked full price at $149 and $199. *The sales associate lets you try on one shoe and disappears with the other one. *You get a damaged box with writing scribbled inside the box for an over priced worn shoe that you're impelled to buy just to get rid of a gift card, so you never have to step foot in the store again. *Per the manager, they write inside the shoe box, so I think that means it's acceptable lol. I'm never the type of person to leave a review. But this store is so rude and unprofessional I don't ever mind waiting to be helped, because I work in customer service. But I waited while multiple employees passed me or just looked me up and down. I finally asked for help and I said "sorry to bother you but do you mind helping me" and the gentleman said "yeah aight". I just think that is kind of ridiculous and I bought these shoes for my boyfriend as a gift and when I gave them to him he realized one of the shoes had been worn it had a lot of creasing in the toe box, and the laces were tied really tight. I understand people trying on the shoe but for them to leave it in that condition as well was ridiculous. read more

The store was clean and not busy. The shoe salesmen were lazy and said they didn't have a shoe that they did. It would take them years to find a shoe in the back and they would just say there weren't any. I think the manager needs to teach the employees to retrieve shoes for customers without hassling or being dishonest. read more

Big Shoe Palace! Probably waiting on another register installed, more clothing, and hats. Had Jordan XIIIs 3M, Grey Tongue/Toe, Black Gym Red, & Infrared VIs. Friendly young staff headed by Luis from Arden. It's good to have another shoe store in Sac/Roseville area and another Shoe Palace other than Sunrise and Arden. My daughter ordered a shirt online from this company, she paid a shipping fee as well. the product came, and it was very poor quality for the overpriced amt she paid for it, we then called the store, we were informed they do not do returns that were made online, and they also charge a shipping fee to return ALL items!!! They accused of me as a reseller when I wanted only "one shoe" not multiples just one of a specific model! Very bad service all the way around. Went in here the other day looking for a pair of Puma's for my husband. After looking at all the different ones, we chose the one he liked and took the display off the wall and went looking for someone to help us. Although the staff gives the impression of running around, they were constantly going back and forth to the back and handing shoes off to someone else. Then, when a pair was found, they were then just left on the counter next to the register. Anyone coming in could just grab what they liked. And that's what happened to us. After this happening to TWO different pairs, and the sales guy we had orginially handed them to just blew us off. It was VERY frustrating. The worst part is he tried to say that he had been helping someone else with those shoes before us....uh, no, they walked in after and we saw them. He just walked off to the register and started talking to the cashier. Then they both started texting on their phones. WTH?! There is NO SERVICE here and the staff is flat out worthless. I want to give it 5 stars because every time I come in here I come out with sneakers that I love. Everyone here is attentive and really nice. I had to take a star back because I had visited another location to return some shoes and was told they don't do returns. So I ended up coming way out to Roseville from the other unnamed location to return the shoes. If something is not in stock they offer to order them from another location. We have been going to this location for 2 1/2 years and have not gone anywhere else mainly because of the service we receive every time we come in. Walked in there with a nephew of mine eyeshopping, in there I was greeted respectfully by a worker standing closer towards the left side of the center of the store, a guy named Ricky I'm pretty sure. He patiently and respectfully listened to what I came in there for before I went about the store. After that I was greeted 4 or 5 times in asking if I needed help! Woo! Each worker as respectful as the last and each one telling me something I didn't know. Finally when I left I sat down and talked with this said man who greeted me at the door. I usually shop at the Arden location but decided to check out this store since I was in the area. HOLY COW!! If it weren't for the same uniforms, I wouldn't even know I was in a Shoe Palace. This store is totally clean, beautiful and HUGE! Almost 4 times the size of Arden and the staff is awesome! Anna the manager is SUPER nice and helped us with all our questions and needs.
