Came in and wanted to try on some shoes for my baby boy. Rude sales lady was too lazy to walk so she told me to try on the display shoe size. Dirty. But she did get both sizes asked. Probably due to someone telling her to get it and corrected her behavior. I had to cancel the order. My boy was not having anymore try ons for the day. I apologized and explained the situation. I get a remark from her saying that she gets it. I wanted to save a little money. I believe her co workers tried to correct her. I bet you she isn't corrected. Don't support racism. She probably is known for this and cannot get fired. Lady dint notice my brand name stroller (costs over a grand) or the crocs I just bought earlier for my boy in the carrier area of the stroller. We were helped right away by the nicest lady named "Kimberly" she was such a warm spirit. She was so helpful and made what was a stressful night , bliss! The struggle is real when looking for size 14. Been wondering the mall for the last few weeks, feeling like a mall rat i was back in highschool. Just looking for a good pair of nikes. I know which 1 i like and its hard to find it. So trying to find any pair available in a running shoe is a bit lucky these days. Many options usually go up to a 13 and a slim few 14+. Finally they got a pair inand it was the one i had been wanting to try on. Im super picky about how my shoes fit and feel but when your going to spend $$$ on sneakers you wanna make sure they fit real good. Its simple it feels good or not. And i am used to just saying just show me what you got in Nikes, 14 and running sneakers that all. Dont need any timberlands, boots or basketball. They were busy but on there game today. So, there was only ONE pair of size 23 shoes, and I was about to try them on when Shaq came in and was IMMEDIATELY fouled. He made direct eye contact with me, and in a voice so low that only rescue dogs can hear it he said, "Shambla books portofino." The store hours are listed until 7p during the week, however me & my family arrived at 6:50p and the store claimed the manager was not allowing any more customers in just because and not due to capacity or a limit for covid. I think it's unethical to not uphold store hours and if they're not going to honor their 7pm closing time then the hours should be reported as closing at 6:50pm. I really hated to have done this, but I think very highly of customer service. They might be a HOH and have very limited shoes, but that don't mean crap without customer service. To be honest, the only reason I keep coming back is bc it's the closest. If there was another one near by, I'd avoid this one at all costs. They all, or at least most of them, need to know how to answer phones. Not everyone is your "homeboy," so talk to everyone in a respectful way. I don't know your name, so you tell me your name when you answer. I called 3 different times because I wanted to make sure they had a shoe available. I live a hour and a half away, so it was important that I have the correct info. The first lady told me they had 2 unclaimed and to come in when they open. The other 2 guys talked to me like they knew me and I could tell they were intentionally giving me the wrong info, most likely bc they wanted the shoes for themselves or something. As I mentioned above, none of them mentioned their name, so I can't put no one on blast. Also, isn't it the holidays?! End the phone call with "Happy Holidays!" or something of that nature. Just because it's the holiday season and I know you are busy doesn't mean you can take customer service lightly. I work at a hospital and give each and every patient my full attention. There's no excuse. Specially when there's many people out there unemployed that would love to be in their position. So disappointed with this store.. This review is based on my experience visiting Saturday morning I was at Arden Fair Mall with my god-father and my god-sister to do some birthday shopping. I walked passed by this store and saw how busy they were and how organized the store was. I didn't have a chance to stop by as we were on a mission for my god-sister's birthday shopping so I thought to come back the day after. Saturday morning rolls around and I got there right when the mall opened. I first made a pit stop to Victoria Secret to see what their semi annual sale had it store so about 10:30am I was walking toward Footlocker. I first walked in and saw that there might have been at least 5 sales associates on the floor. They weren't busy at all but 3 of them were helping customers and it seemed that 2 associates had clip boards in their hands. I wasn't greeted immediately or actually at all. I went to the left to look at the men's running shoes, but was overwhelmed with the selection. I grabbed a couple of shoes off the wall to show I have interest, but no acknowledgment yet. I went to the other side of the store to look at the shoes, but saw that was more apparel wear so I went back to the running area. One of the associates came near me with his clipboard, but seemed pre-occupied by doing an inventory check? Not too sure but that's when I knew that I wasn't going to get any help and left the store. I've worked in retail for 6 years and was always taught to show acknowledgement to everyone, maybe if you're not available to help, but at least say hello and say that we'll be right with you. There are 2 other competitors in the mall so I went into Champs, was acknowledge right away and walked out purchasing over $100 of a pair of shoes and add ons. read more

I was at the ARDEN FAIR mall when my family and I went to FootLocker, I have never seen such a distracted worker, this worker dropped her barcode scanner, almost charged us $200 for a pair of shoes that was on sale for $79.99. My cousin and I were waiting in line for almost 20 minutes because the worker was talking/flirting with the two guys in front of us. I even stepped out of line to look at her and signal to maybe hurry up but she did not. I would understand causal talking but it should not have taken us so long just to buy a pair of shoes. And so I proceeded to go and find the manager after and tell him my situation and he told me "so was it just a causal conversation", with a no care attitude and I said "im not sure what they were talking about but we shouldn't have had to wait in line for SO long", he did not care so I walked out of the store. Boy do these guys need training on how customer service works. The manager, Rick, was so low energy and unmotivated to help people it really set the tone for the entire store. I brought my thirteen-year-old son and two by one hundred sixty dollar Adidas tennis shoes , and to return ones we had bought from footlocker .com . The first guy to come over to us looked at my son and asked him "you really wanna try on all of those?" (he had selected about four different shoes to try on). Bizarre. And lazy. We finally left and ordered the shoes on Amazon because I would rather shop online than have that type of "service". I am not even going into the details of everything that happened in that store, but I really hope that they can get the training they need. I asked for two different shoes to try on, both of which he added sole inserts. I said I didn't want or need them yet he continued to waste my time and his by adding them into both sets of shoes. As if I'm looking for sole inserts with a new pair of shoes. Then proceeds to take his shoes off and show me his 2 year old pair of sole inserts and tells me how great they are. Went here last night to get some new workout shoes. The girl who helped us I believe her name was Alena was SO helpful! She asked us what we were using the shoes for and what was important to us in a shoe etc. We ended up getting some Nike Free Runs which btw are so light weight and comfy! She let us try them on with gel insoles and without so we would know the difference. She seemed genuinely interested in helping us find cute good shoes. She also loved our toms so that was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our shopping trip and had superb help! read more

I placed an order at 8am for same day pick up. I arrive at 4pm and one of the sales rep grabs my Id. She disappeared for 5 or so mins only to come back saying I can't find your order. I look at my bank account, lo and behold I'm charged. The cashier told me they don't have my name in the system, and it can take a really long time to show up in their system once a order is placed even up to 1 business day. If it takes 1 business day, then what is the point for same day pick up when a order is placed online? So I cancelled my order and now it will take 5-7 business to refund me money. read more

Double-charged me two days before Christmas. Went into the store and spoke with Marisol who tried to be helpful, but wasn't really sure how to deal with such a strange issue. She took down my info and promised that someone from corporate would call me to help me get my money back. I received a call on 1/12/15 from an unknown number. I returned the call and a woman answered, but didn't immediately identify who or where I was calling. When I mentioned that I had received a call from this number, she told me that "that's impossible; you would not receive a call from this number. This is Foot Locker." Then I was able to explain that it was probably a manager calling me back about my credit issue. She was like, "Oh," and transferred me to the manager. A man claiming to be the manager of this store (no name was given) let me know that he had just called me and they had worked it out and my card would be credited either that day or the next business day. Thankful and relieved, I didn't think about the situation for a while. No credit ever happened. I tried to call once and no one would answer the phone. I called again today and finally someone did answer the phone, but they were extraordinarily condescending, made me repeat everything all over again, and then placed me on hold saying they would "get the manager to help me." I'm not sure why they asked for details when they knew they couldn't help me to begin with, considering the first words out of my mouth were, "May I speak to the store manager, please?" While I was waiting, someone picked up the phone like they were answering it for the first time. I said I was waiting to speak to a manager. They told me that they are "one of the managers." The other employee didn't tell them ANYTHING I had said, and wouldn't, so I had to repeat everything that had happened again. When he wanted to put me on hold to give me to the "other manager," I asked him why he hadn't asked the other employee to explain my situation, instead of inconveniencing me, the customer, by making me explain myself again. He said he was, "just trying to help me out," but refused to except the fact that 1) he couldn't and 2) he made a mistake. I told him he had failed, they had lost my business, and I didn't have time to be wasting on their complete incompetence. After a month of Nike/FL making money off of my money, I had to do a chargeback on my card against them. I suggest not shopping at this location until they get a new manager with a better leadership skillset (on the other hand, if you need kids' shoes, Marisol was really nice and she works at Kids Foot Locker in the same mall). In the meantime, I'll be notifying FL corporate about my extremely poor experience at this location. read more

All of the guys here were playing around like immature kids and they would just stare and never said one word to us. Ok so we walk in and I tell him to start looking. This older asian man comes up to us and starts to help. I purchased new shoes for my sister and daughter that just released yesterday at Arden Footlocker. I came in today with a family emergency, Reciept and ID and wanted to return these because the money was needed for something else. The two girls upfront 10/15/17 6:35 pm said they could not return shows because it hasn't been 3 days yet. I have purchased over $1,000 in shoes this year and every time I needed to return, exchange wether it was the same or next day i have never had a problem! I always use the same debit card and today, they didn't want to return it because it just came out and It can't return for 3 days. I spoke with Robin who said he was a manager, he said it probably didn't clear the bank. I have PROOF it did clear the bank and he said thats your bank thats not us! So either come back or go to a different store like Roseville! This is ridiculous! I've never had an issue and today they have a new rule that I can't return newly released shoes for three days. I contacted Roseville and Kids Footlocker and they said they never heard of that rule! But its too late to run to Roseville, they close in 5 mins! read more
