My wife and I stopped by Living Spaces to browse some couches. When we walked in, we were greeted by Curtis, who did a great job getting us situated and pointing out where everything was. He let us know to reach out if we had any questions, which we appreciated. They also have a playroom for kids, which was a huge help for our little one while we shopped. While browsing, a sales associate named Melanie approached us to see if we needed help. I let her know we had already been helped by Curtis. She continued to help us anyway, which was polite, though we weren't really looking for additional assistance at that point. We had already found the couch we liked and are waiting to purchase until we close on our new house, so we didn't place an order that day. She was respectful of that. She also explained the protection plan for the couch. We let her know we weren't interested, and she was understanding. Later after preparing our order information for when we're ready to call in and purchase, she checked back in and provided a reference number which was helpful. The protection plan was mentioned again, which felt a little repetitive, but we declined and moved on. Overall, the experience was good. The store is clean, well laid out, and has a great selection of furniture. My only downside is that sales associates tend to stay very close and multiple people may ask if you've been helped already. I understand that's part of the business, but I personally prefer a little more space when browsing. That said, it's a nice store with quality furniture. The value of living spaces couches are trash! I will NEVER again purchase from them. We saved up some money to buy ourselves what we thought was going to be a nice couch and last many years. After 90 days, the couch seems started to separate. I was able to enter a claim and got it repaired. The same thing happened to the other cushions a few months later, and they refused to cover it under warranty. I spent $5,100 after taxes and extended warranty, extended warranty, can't help with the separation at the seams, Living Spaces doesn't want to do anything about the couch, They sold us! It has been hardly over a year and we already have to get a new couch after spending so much money. Do not purchase from them no matter how good their displays look! My son bought a lift recliner 7/24 to use while he had in home dialysis. In January the chair broke (stuck open while my son was getting a treatment), I called the warranty protection company (we bought the 5 year extended warranty). After I submitted a claim, they diagnosed it over a email. Ordered a part which took about 2 months to come in. Technician came out and that part didn't fix the problem. So he had to order different one. We were told it could take up to 12 weeks!! It has been, 4 months without a useable chair! This is NOT acceptable. The seat is also showing thinning in spots. Which I reported but, I was told that's normal wear and tear and not covered?? In 6 months?? This is ridiculous!! I will never shop here again! And if you do, do not, purchase the warranty. I know Living Spaces has been getting dragged lately, but honestly? I'm not sure why. Over the years, we've picked up quite a few pieces from them and every time, we've been happy (if not downright over the moon). We've bought dining tables and chairs, a recliner, a couch, and most recently, a full bedroom set. We've always shopped the sales (sometimes amazing sales) and with how expensive everything is these days, those deals feel like gold. They have something for every style, and their customer service has been great. Just recently, we went in to check out mattresses and had the sweetest associate, Kabria, help us. She put up with our shenanigans, was super friendly, and really knew her stuff. Every experience we've had here has been positive, and every purchase has been solid. I'd recommend Living Spaces over just about any other furniture store - bonus points for the EV chargers outside! Oh, and we just ordered online for delivery, and it arrived about a week earlier than expected. This place is terrible. You cannot buy anything in there same day, it's just to "look" and order.... ALSO they don't have everything to look at that's show on their website in the store...and it's a 10% restocking fee for returns (even for something you can't look at IRL). WOW. After calling customer service I was told I would receive a call back that day and never heard back. Although the person was terminated nobody from Living Spaces ever contacted my wife or I back. Additionally customer service does not provide individual store phone numbers out nor the regional managers info to contact after experiences like this. All contact is through a call center that says they can't speak to managers, the only thing they can do is message or email somebody for you. My husband and I bought a couch from Living Spaces less than two years ago. When we purchased it, the color we really wanted had been discontinued, but the sales rep assured us that if a similar color became available later, we could always purchase new covers in that shade. That turned out to be completely false. Living Spaces does not sell replacement covers at all. About a year after purchase, one of the cushion seams started to tear. We assumed it was wear and tear and didn't think to report it immediately. Within just a few months, however, every cushion began tearing in the exact same spot. Multiple professionals who've looked at it confirmed the issue is due to faulty stitching not suitable for the materials and improper seam allowance for the fabric type, not everyday use. Now we're left with a $3,000 couch that looks terrible, can't be repaired properly, and can't be re-covered. Because we didn't file a claim on that first small tear within the warranty window, Living Spaces refuses to help in any way. The quality does not match the price, and the customer service has been equally disappointing. We'll never purchase from Living Spaces again and would strongly suggest looking elsewhere for furniture that's built to last. To make matters worse, the Living Spaces social media indicated we should contact them for help, the response was essentially, "Sorry, nothing we can do." The tone came across as dismissive, almost a "LOL, tough luck" attitude, which made the whole experience even more disappointing. Bought a dining room table, chairs, and a bench seat from living spaces. Spent the extra money to have it delivered and assembled. Fast forward two years later I had a friend sitting on the bench seat at a dinner party and had complete failure of the structural members of the bench seat. My friend is an average sized guy and was the only one sitting on it. Caused him to fall backwards and hit his head on the table. I contacted the customer service department and filled out their online claim just to have a staff member say they wouldn't even replace the bench seat because warranty only covers a year and it's been 2 years. The material completely failed from normal use and the bench seat is rarely ever sat on. I also bought chairs for my counter that have been wobbling and will probably have to replace soon (also bought at the same time). None of this stuff was cheap and with light use couldn't even make it past 2 years. I'm upset with the quality but even more upset with the strict "sorry after one year you're on your own" policy. I purchased a sectional sofa from Living Spaces in early August, and it was delivered yesterday. Unfortunately, every single piece of the sectional arrived with visible damage, including fabric tears and blue sport on the fabric. When I addressed the tears, I was told the tears could be covered with cushions and I should not worry as much. I have photos and videos documenting this. When I went to the store to request a refund, I was told I could either accept a 10% discount to keep the damaged furniture or return it with a 25% restocking fee. Despite the fact that the damage was not my fault, Living Spaces still charged me around $700 in restocking fees. I called headquarters numerous times, but I was continually referred back and forth without any clear resolution. In the end, I was forced to pay for their mistake. I have purchased from Living Spaces in the past and expected quality products and good customer service, but this experience has been extremely disappointing. Instead of standing behind their product and service, they placed the burden on the customer. Stay away from purchasing custom pieces--if there are issues, you may be stuck with damaged furniture or unfair fees. I cannot recommend Living Spaces based on this experience. read more

We made several trips to Living Spaces and ended up with living room and bedroom pieces. There is so much to choose from. The store is huge! We got our steps in just cruising around. My daughter loved that there were so many customizable pieces. I'd say the cost is comparable to other furniture stores, but the selection is far better than we found around the area. The employees are so kind and they don't work on commission, so make sure and review after you get your furniture so they get their accolades. We previously purchased a set of sofas from Living Spaces and had a decent experience. However, this time was completely different. We were helped by a sales associate named Matthew, and we made it very clear that we wanted a full tempur-pedic mattress, we even pointed out the exact model and frame we wanted on the showroom floor. Instead of completing the sale then and there, Matthew directed us to another section where a different sales associate took over. It took quite a while for Matthew to bring over the sales paperwork, and when he finally did, she read it to us and asked us to review it. Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the mattress listed was a hybrid, not the full Tempur-Pedic we had requested. I'm now convinced the description was switched while Matthew was away preparing the paperwork. When the mattress was delivered, we immediately realized the mistake, but were told that because I had signed off on the sale, there was "nothing they could do." They suggested I contact corporate, only to find there's no clear way to call them. I was left chatting with an online rep who also told me nothing could be done. This experience has been incredibly disappointing. We will not be returning to Living Spaces, and I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere. There are plenty of furniture stores out there with better service and more honest practices. Mind you, this hybrid is not comfortable at all and we may need to purchase another one soon. My husband and I ordered a sectional and a special-order ottoman after store hours. At the time of purchase, we were informed that if we chose to cancel the special-order ottoman the following day, we would be able to do so. The next day, at approximately 4:00 PM less than 24 hours later and before the 8:00 PM cutoff we contacted the store to cancel just the ottoman. We were then told we would incur a 25% cancellation fee, despite the fact that we placed the order after hours and had no opportunity to cancel while the store was closed. I want to be clear that the in-store customer service with our sales representative was excellent. However, our experience with Paul at the service center was extremely disappointing. Paul stated he is the manager at the call center and reports to a supervisor named Desiree. Even after acknowledging that the order was placed after hours, and confirming that had we placed the order at 10:00 AM when the store opened even if it had already been submitted to the vendor we would still have until 8:00 PM that evening to cancel without penalty, he refused to waive the fee. When asked directly, "If I had ordered this morning when the store opened and it went to the vendor, I would still have until 8:00 PM tonight to cancel without a fee -- is that correct?" Paul responded, "Yes." Given these facts, it is difficult for us to understand why the same consideration was not extended in our situation. From our perspective, this does not reflect a customer-centric approach. It appears the company would prefer to retain a $100 cancellation fee at the expense of a $4,000 sale and a long-term customer relationship. read more

I've had my couch for less than 18 months and all of the cushion covers have split at the seams because they were cheaply made. Unbelievable!!! Moved to our new house in November 2024. After weeks of research, we bought an oversized sectional with warranty from Living Spaces. We were unboxing over the last few weeks and had hardly used this sectional - could count in one hand in terms of the number of times we sat on it. On 2/5 while doing house cleaning, under the sunlight we noticed for the first time fabric on the corner piece was damaged. We reported that to their warranty service department on the same day and received a text with no confirmation number on it. After a week of silence, we decided to call them on 2/14 but was told that - 1) The warranty service we bought would NOT cover damage on the fabric of my 3-month-old sectional that we had paid $6k for just a few months ago due to the fact that in my claim I said "I just spotted" the damage as opposed to describing the unfolding of an accident that led to the damage. 2) They claimed to have sent me an email notification to notify me of the denial of my claim on 2/10, an email that I never received. 3) When asked to speak with a supervisor, we were told by the warranty service rep that there was not anyone else we could speak with. Any other concerns we have we would need to speak with the store. Admittedly, Living Spaces have pretty good selections on the floor. If this is the best post-sales service you can provide for extended warranty that your customers have to pay for, I would be very concerned about your company's reputation in the industry. I recently purchased a beautiful gloss paint bed frame from Living Spaces. My experience with the store manager, Nick, was pleasant. Nick was very helpful. However, when the product was delivered, we found multiple defects on the furniture. They sent out a technician from Furniture Solutions to try to perform repairs and touch-ups. The bed frame I purchased was black with gloss paint (beautiful and shiny). The technician at that time only had flat paint. He performed touch-up with flat paint on my glossy furniture. Now I have a piece of brand new furniture that is a mix of gloss paint and flat paint and it looks awful! When I questioned the technician on why he sprayed flat paint on my glossy furniture, he said that was the only black color he had. I said: "Then you should not spray anything at all". He then said he did not know my furniture was glossy. He was the furniture specialist. How could he not pay attention to what kind of paint I had on my furniture before he spray anything on? I told him something needs to be done to correct the mistake. He said I should talk to Living Spaces Warranty Department and have them send another technician to re-paint the furniture with gloss paint. He then reported to Living Spaces that the repair was completed and did not mention a follow-up service was needed. When I called Living Spaces, they made it sound like it was not their fault. They said I should talk to Furniture Solutions. I am very frustrated and not happy with the after-purchase experience with Living Spaces. P.S. The pictures attached is only showing one spot.
