I came in to make a simple Thanksgiving purchase and exchanged one mistaken item for another. The exchange was rung up incorrectly at a higher price than it should have been. After checking my receipt in my car, I went back inside to get the issue resolved. The assistant manager admitted he couldn't figure out the discrepancy, so I requested to speak with the actual manager. Lance approached me with a dismissive, almost irritated attitude, insisting "his computer could not be wrong." Despite me calmly showing him the numbers on a calculator--numbers anyone could verify--he repeatedly refused to walk through the transaction or check the math in a logical way. I entered the same simple calculation in front of him three times, yet it still didn't click. Only after persistent asking did he reluctantly agree to ring the item through as a pretend sale, and sure enough, the numbers on his own system matched what I had been trying to show him from the beginning. He then disappeared to the back again, presumably to re-check what was now undeniably obvious. After over 30 minutes of back-and-forth, he finally admitted he and the system had been wrong the entire time. At one point, while we were literally looking at the numbers on his screen, he even threatened to kick me out simply because I said, "Can we just let logic prevail that $29.xx minus a $10 credit is $19.xx?" Once the refund was finally issued, I asked for his name and the corporate number. Instead of providing them, he told me he was the owner and ordered me to leave the store. As I walked out, an employee collecting carts yelled an insult at me referencing my long hair--a level of childishness I honestly found more pathetic than offensive. He said "nice pony tail, faggot." In my personal experience, Lance showed a profound lack of professionalism and integrity, coupled with an inability to handle a basic customer-service scenario or perform simple arithmetic. This visit made it clear to me that customer concerns are treated as annoyances rather than responsibilities. I won't be returning. Right after I posted this on Google reviews they made a fake review. Expect the same here.

The store was busy, but these two employees still went out of their way to make sure I got exactly what I needed to make the project happen. Just in time for Earth Day! On another occasion, Ryan helped my mother-in-law with her kitchen remodel. Ryan was patient, knowledgeable and gave her all the information she needed to get the ball rolling. It's nice knowing there are still people who actually care about the customer, not just the bottom line. I highly recommend this location!

She didn't give me time to get my things out of the basket and onto the counter. She just walked around and gunned everything. Two minutes later I was paying and on my way. I got another smile and a big thank you. Before I could push my cart out the door a young man comes over and grabbed my cart and says "I'll help you to your car." everything I had was small and I didn't really need the help but I sure appreciated it. I'd be happy to help you anytime.His name is Rodions. I didn't get her name but the two of them had me smiling all the way home. I need to go back later today to get some rock and bark. I'll need help with that. You can bet I will be looking for Rodions for help and another smile. So many people act like they hate their jobs. These two people gave such excellent service and smiles. Every time I came here. All three times and and I've not lived in SacTown very long. The customer service here is great. The staff is always friendly and welcomes me in. They answer questions, they provide service. They explain the return policy when there is something other than a normal return. I was looking for a particular item and could not find it. The man took me to where the item was supposed to be. He said that they were out but he would get more from the back. Two minutes later he returned with my item and replenished the empty spot. The store is always neat and clean and the shelves are always neat and well stocked (see above). I go to Harbor Freight to get items at discount prices. I need a couple of blue tarps to protect my lawn when I hug up an area. The tarp was going in to the trash afterward. Why spend $30 at Lowe's when I can spend $7.99 at HF?? This is a great HF stor and I will continue to shop here.

When Home Depot or Lowe's doesn't have something they ALWAYS tell me to, "Go to Ferguson, they have everything." This was my first time to go to Ferguson. I needed replacement rubber gaskets and seals for a Two-year old Kohler Toilet Tank that was leaking. So I called and the man I spoke to told me that they had all the necessary for the make & model of toilet and just come on down. So I did...And They DIDN'T. The man that was helping was VERY Helpful and knowledgeable. He told me that the model was no longer manufactured. He went around looking for parts trying to get them all together. It was raining really hard and went out to another area and came back in with a Kohler Toilet Tank Box that was badly rained on. I had An URGENT Matter that I had to attend to and it was almost 4p. So I told him that I had to go. I gave him my name, phone number, and email address and told him I would be back the following day. I came back the next day about noon and apparently interrupted his lunch (SORRY) but he was friendly and got up, walked over and picked up a Kohler Tank box and handed it to me. I asked how much do I owe - he said nothing - it's yours! I thanked him and loaded it in the car. So when I got home, I started taking the new pieces off and looked and thought - why dont I just swap out the ENTIRE Tank?? So that's what I decided to do. After I got the NEW Tank on, I tested it a Bunch of times and determined it was a SUCCESSFUL Repair! NO LEAKS! Thanks you guys! I guess I was lucky that my toilet was no longer made so I got a new complete tank, and a quick repair!!
