Vitali did a full master bathroom remodel for us and he was fantastic to work with from beginning to end. I had contacted a few contractors for quotes and felt that most were unclear about what would be done and what we were actually paying for. When I called Vitali he was able to come out the following morning, his quote was clear and reasonable, and he laid out of schedule of what would be done each day. He was able to give suggestions about what we might want consider (Ive never remodeled a bathroom before) which was very helpful and he was able to start very quickly. He was even accommodating and took my calls from the store where I was buying materials and helped guide my purchases. When the work started, he and his people arrived promptly every morning, were very courteous, and cleaned up at the end of every day. In order to stay on schedule, which they finished the job in 8 days, he even stayed late, with permission, working until after 8:00 multiple times. He checked in with me regularly as the work was going on, not just about the major things but even the little things that I would have really considered. For example, I'm tall and he made a point to make sure that the shower heads were a bit higher than normal. He made the niches larger to accommodate the height of the shampoo bottles. Little things like that really go a long way. And he also took care of some bigger issues. We did not realize that apparently our prior toilet was installed very poorly and was leaking under the floor. I know this created a lot of extra work but he simply handled it without a fuss. I cannot recommend VL Tile enough! For me, one of the worst parts of trying to get stuff done on my house was finding a trustworthy and reliable person to work with and I'm so glad that someone recommended Vitali to us. We love our refaced fireplace! Vitali did an incredible job and was thorough, respectful, and super responsive. He welcomed us to be part of everything from picking the stone to color matching the tile. He's also the only contractor that didn't balk when we said we wanted our old mantel removed and replaced with tile. Our old fireplace was cracked, pink (rose quartz) and just incredibly outdated and grungy. We wanted something fresh and minimal that didn't contrast so significantly with the rest of the house. Vitali showed up when he said he was going to, explained the entire process and was done in a super timely manner. He cleaned up EVERYTHING each night and made sure I was satisfied before heading home. The extras he did were also worth mentioning. He took the time to repaint my old vent covers to better match the new look, and replaced the boarder around the hearth which was awful to remove as I've had to pull it up elsewhere in the house and know how easy it is to crack. He also took the time to clean up my fireplace before he began as I'd completely forgotten. Pricing was very fair and we're looking forward to using his services elsewhere because by a stroke of luck, he'd replaced a bathroom in the house long before we moved in. Update 4 months later: My bathroom is the nicest room in my house now. I had some plumbing issues (not their fault; my building is from 1970 and the pipes are getting bad). VL remodel was able to remove the toilet, replace the leaking pipe, complete necessary repairs and re-install the toilet quickly. I felt comfortable leaving my home in VL Remodel's hands while I was at work or taking care of other things. Hands down, the best contractor I have found, and I have dealt with a lot of them. Vatali is not only responsive, price is reasonable, he knows his work, and most importantly, he has the heart to go beyond what needs to do to get things done. My tenant called me the other day that the carpet was dampened, and guess what, the other side of the wall is the shower stall, so bad news, something was leaking and the shower pan was old and needed replacement. Unlike most contractors that would charge me arm and leg for what's considered "water damage," and the shower stall replacement, Vatali charges me a reasonable price to replace the shower stall with his beautiful tile work. He only used a few short days to finish the work, and also did extra to replace the surrounding floor tiles that were cracked, painted the wall around, even professionally cleaned the carpet on the other side so not to form mold. He didn't charge me extra with those work and everything was done beautifully. He communicated with my tenants and sent me pictures everyday of the job progress.
