For several months my husband and I looked for someone that would do the tile around an existing fireplace surround. I had selected a very detailed pattern (in marble) and the existing surround was not an even surface. I was having a hard time finding someone to do such a detailed and intricate tile job. We hired Vitali to install the stacked stone on our fireplace. We weren't sure as what to expect as we never used him before. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of his workmanship. I found Vitale online and after speaking to his scheduler, decided to set an appointment for an estimate. He was in the area and was able to make it out that same evening. Vitale was very prompt in his arrival and was neat, clean and well spoken. After evaluating the project and price, I decided to use his services. He was able to start that same week and complete the job in time for our Christmas party that following Friday. Vitale is a happy man who liked to turn on his Christmas music and sing as he worked. Vitali, et.al, gutted our guest bath; installed tile floors; wainscoting; and a tub to ceiling shower surround with a custom wall niche. In addition, he and his crew tore out our dated master bathtub and shower enclosure and fabricated a custom 4 x 9 walk-in shower with a pebble floor that drains perfectly. The process of working with Vitali was simple. I called and scheduled an appointment, and within a week he stopped by to look at the job. He gave me a fair quote and was able to complete the fireplace/hearth tiling job the next day. Vitali arrived on time and completed the job within 8 hours or so. His work is top notch and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. When the job was done, Vitali told me that there was additional cost for materials, which I understand. The problem I had was that the cost of the material seemed to be negotiable. I would have preferred to see a receipt of the materials he purchased. We agreed on a price that agreeable to both of us. I called 4 contractors to do a relatively small bathroom job, 3 called back one, Duscov Tile, showed up. I say relatively small because the bathroom is small, but it was a lot of work. He did all the work I asked for, demo/removed the old tub, moved a drain in the concrete slab, pan buildup, sealed all the walls and tile work. ALL skillfully done and it looks great and he takes pride in his work. Aside from his enthusiastic and processional work ethic my wife and I felt comfortable with him in our home and he loves to show off his beautiful baby and wife. Vitali did a wonderful job on our fireplace. He demolished our old ugly fireplace setup and installed stacked stone from floor to ceiling. We are very happy with the results and it looks even better than we expected it would. (He was also reasonably priced, which was an added bonus.) Great work! Vitali did my backsplash a year ago and he did a good job so I got his number for future work. I called him back for our kitchen floor. He responds quickly, is very easy to talk to, does the work within the agreed upon time, and he is very detailed and meticulous in his work! He changed everything and waterproofed our whole bathroom and shower. He tiled everything beautifully and we love the liners and niche. He is a great professional with quality work. Vitali did an awesome job on our small bathroom remodel. He's a perfectionist and really took care of all the details. We had subway tile installed in the shower, floor to ceiling, with a hex floor and he built a wonderful niche shelf into the wall.
