Lumber is straight every time, never twisted like the big box stores. Friendly staff, good prices.

Best price on railings, and Kevin was extremely helpful in completing the project, and was willing to go out his way to help numerous times.

Kat was our sales person and she was great to work with. Very responsive and answered all of our questions. Build and design process went very smooth. Alex was the build person for my project who was equally good as well. His craftmenship is great. Along with his team, they were able to complete the build pretty much in 1 day. They did a great job in cleaning the snow/foam after build. We passed inspection without any issues and the inspector even complimented the quality of the build. In short, they came, they build, they clean and they left. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the whole process. The team I worked with did a great job.

I had some technical questions so she came back with one of the owners to answer my questions. Alex was the lead installer. He was communicated with us very well. He prepared us for what was going to happen during the building process and brought us in on esthetic decisions throughout the process. It took 3 days total for the onsite construction. The crew cleaned up after themselves at the end of every day and deep cleaned after the job was complete. Overall it was a great experience working with this company. I would use them again.

Instead of…read morerecommending unnecessary repairs, he suggested painting my home, which will reduce the need for siding repairs for several years and save me money. I really appreciated his honesty and professionalism. He was flexible, accommodating, and even replaced my patio covering with galvanized steel at no additional charge. Alex, who was in charge of painting the house, did an outstanding job. He and his team painted my entire home in just a day and a half. They carefully moved all of my belongings before starting and put everything back when they were finished. My house looks absolutely beautiful! I am extremely pleased with all of the work that was done on my home and will definitely be reaching out to GoodLife for any future construction projects. Thank you, Victor, Alex, and the entire team, for your excellent service!

We appreciate all they did and will definitely be calling them back for our next project.

I met with Kurt for the initial estimate and he was great in pointing out the kind of work that needed to be done and took the time to answer all of my questions. Once I made the decision to go with 3 Generations, I started working with Jeremy who went the extra mile to meet me at my work to sign the paperwork and select the type of siding for the house. We signed the paperwork in the late Fall, which is a busy time for them but Jeremy was always up front with their estimated timing, which I really appreciated. Once the work started, the job was completed pretty quickly. Again, Jeremy and his crew were very communicative and kept me updated on the status of the work until it was done. They also fixed some plywood dry rot and installed new plywood as well as correcting some roof deck problems in addition to all of the siding replacement. I've included some pictures the old siding, which was cracked and loose as well some pictures of the new siding to show the improvement. From my experience, I would recommend 3 Generations Improvements for any siding or repair work you may need!

It would be very difficult to give an accurate estimate that way because there's a lot of dry rot underneath the steps which needed to be inspected in-person. R&B Framing was the only company which showed up to take a look at the steps. Two days later, Jose Cedillo emailed me an estimate and thoroughly answered my questions. His company only uses Redwood or cedar wood for Victorian homes, though cedar does cost extra. He doesn't use pressure treated wood. We were surprised by how fast his crew finished the job. They showed up on April 9th, early in the morning and worked until the evening. They arrived the next day to finish the rest of the steps and the banisters. He also painted the banisters according to the original white creme color. If it's a legacy house, they'll stick to the originality of the Victorian architecture. (Per building code regulations, when a house is considered a legacy house the paint must be the original--or close to the original color--of when the house was first built.)

They didn't come in as the lowest bid, but their presentation and cost were within project budget so they were selected. I'm glad we chose them, their team of subcontractors were on the job site every morning on time and ready to go. They handled the work efficiently, with skill, and we could not be happier with the results so far. They have to come back and do a little finish work, and some additional work we would like them to do that was outside the original scope of work (yes, we asked them to do more, that is how much we liked their service).
